Have you tried a basket screen? Having the flower further away from the heat means being able to up the temps on the dish.

TBH, if you're using a self made basket screen and not one with an extra metal rim, it means you can place that screen at any level down the bowls channel. Thats a lot of distance to play with so you can really go temp crazy.

A pencil is a perfect fit for getting a screen in there.

I have the OGFP 16mm and have never had a hot spot in any load!
I may have a few specks of green right around the rim but never a dedicated hot spots.
A lot of the vapes in my sig produce hot spots and are either sold or just put away.

This is the main reason the Flower Pot stays as my main daily driver!
Every time i lift the head, i know what to expect, every time!

I have also been experimenting with airflow using the EQ basket mod.
What i have done is i poked some 0,5mm holes into the basket, about 12 of them from outside to inside.
This increased airflow quite a bit and has improved the vaping experience!
Vapor builds faster and the flavor is still amazing!

I am pumped to own a Showerhead one day!
For now, the OGFP still gets me...

Hey all...

I keep wanting to set my ShowerHead to 666 Deg. and take a toke.

The only thing stopping me is the thought that the exhaled vapors will ominously assume the form of a vaporous demon, who will offer me even MORE flavor and pure vaping satisfaction in exchange for my soul! My main concern here is that I'll take the vapedemon up on the offer... :o

What say all of ye? To 666, or not to 666? :D

Are you planning on using a male or female joint?
Decide that. Buy the bowl (flowerpot body w/ handle) that corresponds with that choice.

Next, buy either the showerhead and shower cap or the regular flowerpot head with your choice of Sic or quartz or TI dish, and the lollicap to accompany it.

Finally, buy an enail with a 16 or 20mm coil and MAKE SURE it is the size that corresponds with your chosen flower pot head.

That's it. Necessities. Any spare money get stands and such.

Maybe one for people that already have glass as well.

I think having a: build your own flowerpot thing, with designated REQUIRED and OPTIONAL lists (all with dropdown menus for the respective item choices) would really help, but I'm not a web designer. :shrug:

Yeah, I've been pondering this the last few days, trying to figure out what it is that makes the first look at the FP so confusing for everyone. Me included.

My first posts in this thread was along the lines of 'uh, guys? i dont get what I actually need to buy here but I want one. HELP!?' :)

very fast shipping with dhl (they are always the fastest also at the customs... do not know how they do it)... they send it yesterday from hong kong and I got it today.... wow...

could not use it, because the fp is now in the customs (also thanks to @NewVape710 for the really fast shipping and

Dealing with all kinds of wiring and connections in the pro audio industry, I don't find the FP order page too confusing, but I can easily see how others might. I think the biggest point of confusion is the 16 and 20mm coil sizes versus 14mm and 18mm bowl sizes.

I think a simple drop-down style add-on menu like D-Nail uses on their website would work sufficiently.
Say you click on Showerhead, would you like to add a Showercap(yes/no) add bowl (14m/18m/14-18F)
Add stand (Kickstand/debowler/etc) (Add coil + controller, should be specific to the Flowerpot selected IE: Showerhead should ONLY have the option for adding a 20mm coil, 16mm FP should only allow you to add a 16mm coil)

I'll let everyone know how the sport ring works out. I had a rubber-band around it before which sorta kinda worked, but I got really worried it'd melt lol

How hot does the bowl get on the outside of the male joint part? Would plain old sellotape not work to prevent sticking? I use sellotape on various vapes, to stop the bowls from stcking, as well as glass mouthpiece and whip joints, not for sticking purposes but as a cushion for the glass. I never liked the feeling of glass on glass when my coordination always means a degree of friction.

Actually I've completely forgotten that there is any sellotape on my glass joints. It just works so well I don't even think about it. As long as the bowl is not excessively hot so as to melt the glue and cause it to run, I really can't see why sellotape would not work.

But hey, you guys are the true vape pros with so much vape wisdom and experience.

I'm definitely more than a tourist, but still class myself as an ameteur despite 18 years of vaping experience, begginning with the original conduction ""Master Blaster" in 1999.

My god, now that I recall that piece of SHITE, it is clear how far things have come to get to here!

It gets pretty hot. It's uncomfortable for me to touch after a dab, because of the length of time the head sits on the body.

If it's just a flower hit, I usually feel ok to touch it because it's usually on there for only 20seconds or so.

So far with this dabber as a handle and just a wiggle, I'm usually able to get it out after a hit before I pull away from the bubbler to prevent blowback.

I wasn't getting blowback with the recycler because I had 2 adapters on it to get my body to fit hahah but so far I like the FC-UFO a lot for this vaporizer.

I'm no pro and I barely have any experience! I just like getting baked. If you consider me a pro I might have to make a youtube channel and start charging you to watch me get high and ramble on about sponsored products!!!
