Its possible to buy the frames and hydraulics here in the uk, then just import the controllers and heating plates from NewVape. I bookmarked this for that purpose - https://www.sgs-engineering.com/garage-equipment/hydraulic-press

It's all very much screaming "buy me, I look so cooooool" but I haven't even ordered my FPSH yet and I have just thrown down for the HN-02 to pair it with so I'm gonna hold off.

I'm a flower user with the odd occasional (months can go by) rosin dabble. I just can't justify (right now) buying a press on it's cool factor alone.

But with the FP I'll certainly have more reason to want to rosin :brow: so never say never :D

Me neither but I'm thinking maybe around xmas I'll do it, maybe just after. Basically, its been added to the list, just not sure how long its going to take me to get the finances together :)

I give it a YAY.

I tried it for a day or a bit more than a day. I dont really like the lack of bubbling, the feedback sound helps me get the right level of draw strength... Other than that tho, its a lovely experience. Just as smooth, just as nice. Definite thumbs up from me, even tho I went back to water hits.

Right!? Been held hostage by those Paypal pricks forever. I could have been getting stoned all this time. I almost convinced myself not to get the showercap. Me. Mr Dabbalina. WTF. Like i said, cheap fucker. You should have seen me in the checkout. Do I get the kickstand or no? Nah. Fuck it. But where am I going to put my showerhead?

Yes get the fucking showercap. I was going to skip it because $40 WOULD be nice, BUT then I thought "How will I know if I should be carb capping f I don't have the carb?"

Of course I SHOULD have got the grinder and stand, but for now I'll keep pretending someone will get me one for Christmas.

Got some CBD isolate recently, and been using that in the FP a lot... both dabbing it up top (also got some terpsolate too, which is stupid tasty) and dropping a pile of crystals on top of bud. Very nice. Don't know why I've never used this before.

Really fun just doing random crazy shit with the FP. The possibilities are endless. I did a bowl of flowers, topped in kief and cbd last night and just now dipped some of that blueberry live resin into the cbd crystals for whatever reason... Really, really tasty stuff!

No worries bro! Turn it down a bit to lighter vapor and it's smooth sailing all the way!!
My last herb purchase was not the best so that also plays a huge part...
The showerhead with more airflow is apparently a LOT better than the OG i have as well.

Can confirm. Very good flavor. Also the clouds are massive. Doing a double decker that involves CBD crystals both up top and down below are insane. I get like 5 full cloud exhales from a bowl like that.

It may be just me as well, but I've used significantly less herb (and almost no concentrates... besides that bit of live resin!!) since getting and using the CBD

Can also confirm. I feel like the showerhead is a 10-15% increase in airflow but I found vaporizing herb significantly (I'n really baked and tired, but if I had to assign a number value, I'd say like 40%) better with the showerhead. It's no comparison if I'm being honest, it operates the same but feels very different.

re: smoothness - I can take a .1g flower hit in one rip without coughing. Sometimes I'm lucky to make it thru an entire vapcap load, or tubo watercruise without coughing my ass off. I posted a video in the tubo thread of me doing a cruise at 385 and coughing REALLY hard even though it was through water.

In that .1g flower rip video (both actually) I hold in a cough, but that's from my lungs being so full. I can perfectly control the exhale with no real bite to it. I love this thing and I think you will too, @biohacker


edit2: was too early for my concentrates comment. I work every saturday and am preparing myself for my shift now by dipping this sour d crumble in the cbd isolate :D

Never used a Sub but doesn't the Supreme have the most surface area of hot metal in the vapor path of any vaporizer? I would think you would notice similar problems if it was just about hot metal, though I realize they are built from different materials. I'll be interested in hearing your thoughts on the Showerhead!

I had to stop using my Volcano as it was getting incredibly harsh for me. I think it's the bag system but I can't say for sure. TBH my Arizer Air is also pretty damn harsh, partially from the draw restriction I reckon. I'm anticipating the high airflow of the showerhead to be a pretty revolutionary vaping experience. It seems like the closest device yet to simulating combustion ease of use. Now you already know how I feel about desktop vapes; as different as they are, it was honestly a tough decision for me between this and the Tubo. I still might pick one of those up next round to fill a different role. I'm looking forward to not having to fiddle with batteries and butane for a while again though. I feel like I'm constantly charging 18650 batteries or filling/purging butane lighters. If I had the $$ the Errlectric battery powered enail controller would be sweet though!

@invertedisdead The material the heat exchanger is built from is massively important IMO. The supreme is by far the smoothest hitting big hitter I have ever experienced...how can it not be, you don't even need to grind! The aluminum has never been an issue for me personally, but stainless steel in other vapes like the sub has been and issue....then again, so many variables!

Pretty sure i'll never really be content until I have an electric supreme in my hands, but the FP might do well to bridge that gap! I'm just not a huge fan of grinding when I don't have to.
