@Winegums, could you at some point retake this pic exactly as shown, but without the top piece on so I/we could get a better idea of what the interior spacing looks like? Thank you.

I seem to get several minor clicks right before big click going up or down. Is this normal?

This has happened on rare occasion to me. Actually, when using a lighter, my M double clicks change sound patterns regularly. Sometimes only get 1 click on heat up, sometimes get 2 clicks close together, other times far apart, sometimes both clicks are faint, other times 1 or both can be loud, sometimes no heat up click. When I posted this happening to me a little while ago, apparently it's normal. You can hold the cap by the tongue/digger end, up to your ear & shake & you will hear the 2 discs in side rattle. Now that I'm solely using PIH, I'm just aware of hearing 1 click heat-up.

So who is rocking a XL TI Omni? Is it delicious?

Also, what's up with the XL stashes?
Yes the XL Ti Omni rocks! Actually, all of my Vapcaps rock. Truly the most complete vaping solution for my needs out of all of my collection. One thing I've never added to the collection, though, is a Dynastash. They look great, don't get my wrong, but I've been a purse/shoulder bag guy all of my adult life, because wallets in my back pocket just don't agree with me.

My current bag is by a company called Pacsafe, and it didn't skip a beat when I added VC's to my daily carry. Here is a pic of my model CS75 posed with a 15' Macbook Pro for perspective.
xgLWNIC.jpg

If you look at the pic, the lighting shows a grid under the fabric, one of many safety features of the bag. That's a stainless steel mesh designed to thwart slash and grabbers, as is the strap, which has braided SS cable on both edges sewn into the edge finish. All zippers, plus the strap attachment have anti theft features built into them, and there is an inside compartment that is RFID protected. Like I said, the bag was already part of my daily routine when I started capping, and the outside pocket shown easily handles 3 or 4 VC's, 2 torches and a doob tube. The bag is about 9x7x2.5 inches, very comfortable and not heavy. Besides my VC's my EDC include an RFID wallet, charging cables, a small battery for phone charging on the go, and various personal sundries like pens, notebpad, thumb drive, chapstick, etc., with room for a phone also. There's also a sewn in slot for pens that works great for my vape pens. Keeps them upright when the bag is carried or hung on a hook.

I know a shoulder bag is not for everyone, for a multitude of reasons, but for those that use one, these are terrific little pieces. They come in a variety of models and colors from clutch to full on backpack. I picked mine up at a local leather/luggage shop.

I would just like to say how amazing the people are here on this forum. You guys are the BEST!

Please allow me to chime in, too.
I have been a member of countless online forums during the last 1o years+. I am moderator in some of them. But I would have a hard time to name more than just a very few forums with such a helpful, friendly and adorable community. FC is indeed special. That was my first thought after being registered here for just some hours and this is still how I feel right now.

I mean: "Messages: 73 - Likes Received: 449" - How crazy friendly are you guys & gals? What a great place to be!

@mucsusn, as I was reading your post, I thought, is this guy in NY? ... & I see DC Metro. :p

Good link! Thanks!
Thanks, @Summer definitely a city-boy. I also head up your way for gigs a few times a year. Have a gig tomorrow at the Pierre on 5th Ave. in Manhattan

Damn, you demon! ;) One should know that I do not only suffer from VAS, but also from BAS (Bag Acquisition Syndrome).
I was quite good in avoiding bag stores for 2 years now and then you came along an I am triggered again... :)
Hey, @Dynavaper I also suffer from BAS on many fronts. As a working free-lance musician, bags and cases can make the difference in efficient functioning, so I’ve gotten pretty good at discerning features. As far as shoulder bags go, I haven’t had any more hankering’s since I found the Pacsafe.

@Squiby and @ArthurJ , I will probably get one some day, it’s just never been a priority because of how much I integrate my bag into everyday life. I’ll probably hold out for one of those live edge ones that comes out to play on special occasions

Safe weekend everyone!

We are twins!

In my experience those rare, few, special forums share some traits:
  • Topic based. Things expand out but start from some shared geekyness.
  • Benevolent Despot. Forums are started by an individual or group fronted by one.
  • Huge! Forums become so large that new content is a constant.
  • Lazy Benevolent Despot. Huge forums can't be run by an individual so moderators are enslaved.
  • Shared culture of "niceness". New members bing reading discover that Admin, Mods, and Old Timers have a default setting of "nice/helpful". N00bs either assimilate or get gone with the value of the shared geekyness meaning even assholes often get nice.

Hey peeps, my skelly came in a few days ago and it has been awesome so far! I'm running it on
3x Samsung 25r batteries, 2500mah at 25A. I've had to "jump start" it a few times with the charger when I first got it, but that might just be the BMS acclimating to the new cells. Everyone wasn't joking about the ability to really dial in how hot you want the cap to be. My daytime hits respect the click and save on the herb, while at night I can get real liberal with the heat and vape a cap in 3 hits easily.

I'm using an old video camera bag for stealth and it is well protected. Lots of storage too! :D

Congrats on your new toy, @Zecrono!

Does the IH unit come complete with batteries, or does Pipes' site offer a choice of batteries.

I am waiting on a smaller IH from the Far East, hoping it is small enough
to be pocket-able/pack-able. :borg: Portable

No, you have to order the batteries on your own. When you get the smaller IH, be sure to post pics. :)

Thanks! It doesn't come with them, but it takes regular 18650 batteries. They have to be at least 20A.

The LG HG2 and Samsung 25R are two great options. I'm using 25R's that were bought at a local vape shop.

HG2 is 3000mAh at 20A

25R is 2500mAh at 25A

When you get the smaller IH, be sure to post pics. :)

Agreed! Curious to see how it differs from the skele
