How big is the jr compared to the Maxx???

I just received it and it's incredible. Makes me want the jr even more, may sell a couple to get that.
This was bliss.... And just as incredible dry.

Received my Jr this week and have had a blast getting to know it.
I literally lol'd at the size of this thing when I opened the box though. Who's fucking pocket is this fitting in? was my first thought. :D Have to reinvest in some cargo shorts.
This thing is pretty freaking awesome though once I got the hang of it. The hardest part was getting enough flame going in to produce a good hit. Was gun shy coming from the Flip brick that combusts if you look at it wrong. The Jr. you have to pretty much get the flame right up in there and draw harder. I have yet to even come close to combusting or charring with the Jr. Brilliant.
I did notice kind of a ghost hit or two with a couple strains, then they got rolling after that, producing nice clouds. Don't know if those first couple hits were drying/curing the load up proper or what.
Loving it so far. After a couple days I've gotten used to the size as well. :brow:
Thanks to all in this thread for helping me decide to get one of these. Added to the rotation for sure.
Here is mine next to my Flip posing as Jr's Mini-Me and also dwarfing my Dynastash.

What I was contemplating that could also work here...... Switching the intake on the Maxx and flip. The shorter could make clouds come easier with the Maxx while the longer path could help with combustion in the flip....

Hey guys, I'm curious if this charring is normal on the flame intake?
https://imgur.com/a/eBgzG
Mine did that originally due to torch placement etc (and the spalted seems to char quicker than the walnut).
To combat this (I now do this to every vape of this type) I placed a washer and screen under the intake glass - result = no more charring.

Flip in the pic because I couldn't find one of the JR without taking another one

Thanks for the reply! I didn't have a washer so I just put a screen in there. I made a dome in the middle of the screen where it kind of pokes up into the intake glass.. if that makes any sense? Anyway, after doing that it has actually made it way easier to control the temp and get bigger hits and I think it will help stop the charing. Thanks!

Yes it does seem to help control for a lot of people, it's a similar thing I do on stem loaded vapes (screens over the load). Some though who have used the brick for a long time might not have the same success from the off.

Can anyone see that image (hosted on imgur) and if not what do I add to get it to show up?
Yes, it's visible on imgur, if it wasn't, it would be your security settings, I went thru that the first time too. If you want it showing up here, copy the message board link on the right side and it pastes directly into your message (I think). One of them you need to use the image button, the other pastes directly, I can never remember and just check.

That's very cool, as I've been considering different options to personalize some of my wood, that's definitely up on the list!

@Cl4ud3 thats how we did this one...he didn’t enjoy the process.

We are going to do a Maxx and OGB this weekend. It really stands out on the rock maple and cherry, but the surrounding walnut seems less discolored and stays more consistent to the original tone of the wood.
