Oh, you hadn't heard about the random drawing? Nice choice though.
I may be jealous when you receive that one, though I'm sure there are others equally as beautiful in that pile. Actually, I can't imagine that I'll be disappointed.
Brass button internals with their matching Delrin (with embedded Teflon) sleeves.
Little counterbore for the negative terminal screw to seat snugly into.
The Delrin makes for a perfect dry running bearing surface for the brass, it shouldn't wear over time, and since this special Delrin has Teflon fibers embedded in it, it's self lubricating.
Turning the little acrylic lenses. Rounding over the dome by hand.
It helps to have the small lathe setup for this operation!
Pre-polishing.
Post-polishing. With an Abalone disc.
All assembled into the button housing. Both the Abalone and Lichen look awesome, and have completely different vibes!

The answer is no. But it would probably help a lot to put an edit at the top of the original post saying the list is currently closed.
I don't disagree with that but I do seem to recall the FC rules discussing the need to read to avoid redundancy and lengthy threads. Maybe I'm wrong.

I know the list is closed- I was too slow to get on it. But I thought that Dan was collecting names of those who want to get one after he's filled the list and perfected the nomad. And I didn't read back to see if that's true because I get depressed about missing the list.

Here is what Dan wrote to me about preorders, mailing list, etc. on July 11, right after he opened things up. It appears that if you were on the mailing list but not quick enough to respond to the preorder request (like me) you will get the first shot after he fills the first two rounds.
"Unfortunately you did not make the pre-order list or the reserve list of 20 for the next batch. It was incredibly close... everyone was mere milliseconds apart.
To help make things more fair for you in the future I am not adding any new people to this mailing list from today forward. For all future Nomad sales, you will not have to compete against any newcomers. I hope that this will ensure you get your Nomad sooner rather than later.
I am sorry that I can't offer more to you, I wish I could make a Nomad for everyone on the list, but I can only make so many in my one-man workshop...

Thanks. I must have gotten that. I had my finger on my send button at the right time and still missed being on the list. And got discouraged. I need to check and make sure I got one because I wonder if my message to Dan went astray.
