The stems come with the screens at a good distance for vaporizing. You may not need to adjust from there. It usually is a pretty good start. You can use the epic pic to help you figure distance. You can use the end of a pencil, dowel or a chop stick to adjust the screen distance.

If you notice resistance in your draw that might mean that you need to take some bud out. If the screen is butted right next to the cannabis and the load is somewhat packed there will be a restrictive draw. The nano requires airflow so don't pack your load.:2c:

The Enano takes a little while to feel the change in temps it's not instantaneously. I usually adjust my temp depending on the harshness of my load. If it's too high of temp it will make me cough. I like having good flavor. The lower temps around 6 or even slightly under. Sometimes the bud requires a 6.5 temp. I usually grind my bud to a medium grind but some folks use little nugs.

I don't stair step temps with the Enano. I do with my Solo and my Grasshopper because the tempretures are instant.

With the Enano start with a little bit of bud and work your way up. You will soon find your sweet spot.

You will be amazed at how little cannabis you need to get the job done.:love::leaf::cheers:

At normal operating temps I have never flamed a load because it fell onto the heater screen and thumbs up on Carol for the chopstick. I find it so much easier and consistent then the pick, yep that lazy.

I don't worry so much about the distance between herb and heater. While I don't pack so much that airflow is restricted, I don't mind a moderate fluffy load that gets pushed down by the heater a bit. Some nanos might char but mine never has. I don't scoop, I use the gong like a short straw and suck up a load of medium grind herb out of a short jelly jar. If it fills to the top of the gong then I tap a little out.

What the hell, give it a try. What do you have to lose except maybe one overdone bowl of herb. You might realize you have nothing to worry about and can stop looking sideways at your glass, straining to see if you have proper distance from the heater. :o

Hey @howie105 what did you do to that chopstick? Or is it a dowel? I'm assuming the wider reddish mod is at top of the gong and the flat wood end moves the screen? Do you ever have trouble with the horizontal alignment of the screen using Happy Fortune Chopstick Solution? When setting a new screen after cleaning, I get so geeked out over my screen being "flat". I believe @CarolKing will forget more about optimizing the nano experience than I will ever know. It's a simple device but some hacks & fine-tuning it truly goes to 11!

A Couch Troll ran off with my pick so I took a piece of cheap China whip and a chop stick. The big end is for screen depth setting and the little end is for tamping the load to depth. Of course soon after that I find the pick. :doh: The red stuff is high temperature silicone sealer to lock everything to depth, I use the snot out of it as glue. From time to time the movable screen tilts a bit but then I just bend the skirts of the screen out enough to hold the screen tight and level.

I usually have about a 10 min session and I stir my load about half way through. That refreshes the load and I get bigger clouds and better flavor. I don't like too have too restrictive of a draw so I like to keep the load from packing down too much - I need the airflow.

Whatever way works for you and you are satisfied with your technique then it's the right way for you.

We just bounce back ideas that might work for you or not.

Be careful when listening to @BabyFacedFinster, he can't even keep his own shit straight.

Just cleaned my bubbler squeaky clean with iso and salt. For the special occasion, I took a homegrown indica nug and smeared CO2 oil all over it. I haven't even gotten to the stir and I'm all F'ed up.

I'm out of the house - no power 'til this evening. And I "only" have my Solo with me. Tried papes again last night...got dizzy and tasted gnarly (and not in the rad way!) But that was a good enough motivation to stick to vaping.
Solo and coffee, a good morning!

The place we're at is still from the olden times. Big, cold rooms. I wish I could bring my nano along for hand-warming...but that converter is too bulky for such a short trip (not on its own, but in addition to all the other crap ;) )

Started writing again, I think I've found a new hobby hehe..

Hi @ataxian i always admire your pool and sunny weather all the time.

I'm getting ready for bed and using some Gorilla Glue. Even though it's a Sativa, it knocks me out at night. I've always just strictly used Indica or Indica Hybrids for night time. Gorilla Glue with high THC will lull you to sleep and along with the Enano of course.

@UnevenPizza I agree, what I've read Ben Franklin was pretty scandalous during his time in Paris. Especially during that era. I think a lot went on with our founding fathers that was known but not talked about or recorded in history.

I bought a bunch of DUTCH TREAT = FLAVOR/EFFECT work's for me.
GSC I normally (safe) have plenty of it. (I live where a bunch of it is grown) South of LA!

JACK FROST (sativa mainly) love it!

I'm into CANNABIS mainly however the NANO get's the job done & work's with water pipes.

One of these days, @ataxian is going to post up one of his glass shots, and unbeknownst to him, there is the middle of the pool is gonna be an old, fat man floating around. That will be me, and I'll be like "Hey, what's up?" and "Oh @ataxian dude, you're outta GSC again."

Until that time comes I'll be on my couch, as I am right now, with some Bubba Kush, the nano, and a big bag of lightly salted peanuts. (The unsalted nuts make me choke.) :razz:

I have GSC + TASTE is unreal. I don't think the effect is that great but I can read with this strain.
DUTCH TREAT = FLAVOR/ EFFECT intense!
GRAPE APE very tasty and knock's me out!
JACK FROST the high is up beat and the taste is citrus soda like. (safe)

NANO is ready for my craziness.

I'm never ready really but I make an attempt

I like the NANO for it's size/function = CIVILIZED

CANNABIS is gourmet and very = CIVILIZED (if flavor is important?)

Oh man, I have a bag of barely salted peanuts, they make me nauseus, it's weird, because I love peanuts and peanut Butter and even just raw peanuts out of the shell, but these lightly salted ones are just no good (for me ;) )

In these colder times it's great to have the nano within reach, to warm up my hands.
I've also tried vaping some hash, just on the screen without any green, and it actually milked up the glass real nice. Just a small sliver is enough for two to three hits, but I've noticed it needs to be more in the center of the screen, rather than around the edges to get nice coverage, and I think requires a higher temp.

Also, I found my e-pick again!

They should, but it's not a large organisation so I can see how a family emergency or someone falling ill might cause CS to slip. I think EpicVape is only 2 people atm, so really not hard to imagine? IME(limited though it is), EV are excellent in CS & communicate within a reasonable time-frame.

Not trying to make excuses @vapenerd, just hard to say in this case. That does suck, I hate waiting on a reply so I feel your pain. Try to be patient until you know the reason, often when I discover the circumstances empathy flows and I am ashamed for being upset. 9 times outta 10. Of course, YMMV...

Have you PM'd @ACE OF VAPE ? If not, I would try that.

Yeah, from what I remember they also sometimes go to conventions or other events, usualy epicvapes CS is amazing. I get the feeling they want you to enjoy their product and not just get you to buy it and never talk to you again.

Also, if you're writing from outside of the U.S. you're mail be blocked automatically by their ISP, happened to my mom trying to write her Bank in the states.
