No turb. V1 and og same size. Spalted taller. Wood gets noticeably hotter but not bad at all. I got first batch of Spalted.
Is my v1 smaller than ur v1? I got very first batch of those too. Is ur purple smaller than my Spalted?

Ah spalted gets warm too, I guess when you got a lot of spalt, that conducts heat too. Forgot about that. Our V1s are probably the same size, mine has nonrecessed glass its that early/rough. My purpleheart is definitely smaller than your Spalted, you had a thicker bottom plate and maybe even more room under the button. I think the first rare woods we're like that with the thicker bases, then they got streamlined in between to an optimal size it seems

I love my Spalted and it's tuned hot as I like (shorter press of button and shorter time drawing, mostly used at low temps) but I have to admit that I'm reaaally curious about the turbulator. I'm quite happy just needing one stir or two depending of how hard I go with the trigger but will love to try one with a turbulator...
Wont be the first time having 2 versions of the same with my vapexhales tho

Using the concentration chamber (don't use much anymore .. I really should), my Spalted .. on the trigger side .. it would literally get too hot to touch with extended use. My hotter Mi .. stayed cool. Also less time on the trigger tho .. not just the more conductive nature of Spalted.

I have seen long stems and short stems. The Zion seems to have stems that are mid-length.

The Zion stem is ≈ 100mm and I've dubbed it Medium. 420EDC does sell Schott glass stems designed to be used with our glass TopHat Bullet SubChamber (not to be confused with other TopHats in stainless steel of varying origins). Our stems are designed to house the TopHat and the best way to deploy the TopHat is with unground material.
We have some plain Medium stems that aren't designed for the TopHat but as far as a screen, you are on your own. The RBT screen is too loose in the joint, the Chinese rimmed stainless steel TopHats fall right out, and the new RBT prototype stainless steel US Made TopHats fall right out too. We may reapproach this plain glass with non-Schott joints to see if we can get some internal constriction in which either of the RBT screens might work.

About to join the Milaana family. Just purchased a Walnut Milaana. Can't wait to get it, is there any way I could use a solo stem in it? I have a Solo stem that is my favorite as it is long and in the shape of a straw. When I use it in the solo the vapor is soooooo smooth.
Someone payed 295 for it. Now who was it? I couldn't do it even though I think it's a pretty damn good looking Milaana.

Nice, welcome to the club bud. I also love bent stems and there isn't yet an ideal one for the Milaana. However you can probably use your Solo bent stem if you use silicone to give it an airtight seal. I haven't tried this myself, though I should since I loved that stem too and saved mine when I sold my Solo/Air

Thank you for the welcome. I think a good solution would be a glass reduced that would fit the solo stem. I have one but it doesn't seal it completely. I'll see if I can try some silicone. I have an old Mighty accessory that would go over the cooling unit, and I think that may work but I'll have to try it.

Yeah Ratchetts stuff should work, but a little piece of a clear tube might be enough to connect and not have the silicone in the airpath. That's what I was planning to try since I have some from Amazon, Alan also sells little pieces of it, since be likes to use the Milaana stems backwards sealing with silicone sleeve and then you get a GonG end. I haven't tried that yet either for some reason, I guess when the go to works so well it's easier to just forget it and enjoy

Yup yup, it is a more refined experience for sure. Not having to worry about holding the button even a millisecond too long is great, taste much more consistent and stable through a bowl with less stirring (I didn't need to in my old one or this one, I just prefer to do it for my extraction and vaping experience chasing those terps). The battery life is not a big deal at all, 4 bowls seems to be right if they're full standard 8-12 hitters, enough to handle most situations away from home and I've got plenty of batteries so easy to bring a spare if needed. I'm just charging and swapping a little more, but this has been all I am using pretty much (SBJ and Tubo saw a few bowls a couple nights, while oil pens cover convenience --- I had been rotating between Milaana and Tubo before this, with a little MVT and SBJ sprinkled in too). I'm also in for a walnut Splinter, I think, we'll see what it is in the end. Green glass and walnut is tight, reminds me of original green glass Ziggy Sawdust my first beta Zion, but blue is great too. I really like my amber too, and can't go wrong with black either!

As I've stated about walnut and Emerald, looks amazing together. Awesome choice. Especially with how it nearly conceals the copper by blending in so well. The finish on yours is awesome, love the grains.
