Yeah, I agree with you about it definitely making the most sense!

Hmm, NoochoeSlim is interesting though. I gotta let that one grind around my mind.

I think there are other ideas to be had in that realm, like compared to default Noochie OG, how is this one different? Technically they are both vapor pipes, so that's why I was thinking more of something descriptive to indicate what this form offers... NoochieLite NoochieLong

Hi There,

Vape enthusiasts are always looking for vapes with unique superior innovations.

Is there something unique about the Noohie that differentiates your pipe/vape versus other products out there? I.e product material, design, vapor quality, product benefits (super portable, indestructible, form and function, experience etc.). Those could be some considerations for the name of your new vape perhaps.

Good luck.

I'm not saying noochie pipe is bad or that it doesn't fit, I just think combustion when I hear pipe. I do actually like noochie pipe as a name.

Though noochie slim sounds good. My noochie and slim. I like the sound of that.

I was trying to think of a "horizontal" type name since the noochie og is more vertical.

Hey glad to hear that @Lookatmeglow!

Out of curiosity, do you use up a Noochie bowl in one sitting or does it last you for multiple nights?
My Noochie sits next to my bed as well! My favorite thing about Noochie is that fact that I use one bowl over a period of a few days so it is always ready to go at a flick of a lighter.

I have mainly been using it one sitting. I used a mod from @TRDreviews with an arizer basket screen. It shrank the bowl size a lot and made it so I can use around 0.02g at a time. Basically clear it in one hit right before bed and I'm all good.

Aah, I do remember talk of that but have yet to try it myself.

The main difference I wanted with NoochiePipe is that the screen is pushed through the stem and is therefor adjustable - but lending itself primarily to one session/hitter type of device.

And also the fact that with the heated air passing straight through the herbals, I want to eliminate the need for stirring.

Whenever I see this vape my head starts swirling with "it looks like..." ideas. Today it's caterpillar lightsaber lamp. I don't know, it's Friday and I'm ready to check out.

It's weird and beautiful and I can't wait. I can't imagine not getting that color unless you've got a purple one I'll be unable to resist.

Been testing this boy out extensively.

My aim is, firstly, for this device to offer another super clean and tasty experience but also the plan is to have a stir-free and more of a "one hitter" or shorter session device.

So far I know I want the next print to have a slightly larger air-path/chamber. I wanted a tighter draw but this one is a little too narrow. With medium grind consistency the airflow is pretty good - I personally like a very fine grind but it becomes a little too packed and restricted.

I'm actually having a little trouble not combusting. The experience is a little different than Noochie and the combustion line is a little more fine as well. Maybe I am just not being cautious enough with my flame but the hit will seem fine, seem fine, seem fine, not too hot, oops combusted. But a few more weeks of testing while I make some internal changes to the file model to improve airflow through the herbals and probably extend the air intake in the top before it's carried to the herbs should suffice nicely.

Very happy with the performance of the very first print though!

I do like Absolom, the name of the caterpillar in Tim Burton´s version.

About the combustion, maybe adding a screen in front of the load might help? It will be harder for the ´flame´ itself to make direct contact with the load and also robs it a bit of heat does making it harder to combust...just my two cents

Absolom - that is an interesting name. As I test out this little guy, the perfect name for it is always in the back of my head so he will help me come up with it I'm sure.

The flame shouldn't be making direct contact with the herbals. The screen is actually pushed through the back end of the stem to your desired spot in the front of the stem. Then the herbs are loaded in the front of the stem. Once the cap is secured and the flame held above the air intake, the hot air is pulled down through the pipe "bowl" which curves around and is then pulled straight through the herb in the stem.

I will try a screen in front just to see what happens, but I don't want that to have to be done in the final version.

You know I always find a carb or fresh air intake to be the perfect way to control direct torch heated convection temps

Figuring this thing out for sure now. Screen just needed to be pushed further down the stem a bit. Line between combustion and not is a lot clearer. Cleaning out any combustion residue is as easyu and ever and taste is so clean and delicious.

hahaha, I def do know that. Dremel is coming out within the next day or so and I'm going to drill a carb hole in the lid for further testing. This thing is definitely on the path to where I want it to be, and fast!

One more pic just for sense of scale.

Finally had the aha moment today! The carb is definitely cool, not sure it's 100% needed but I like it am implementing it into the next print no doubt - it's very fun. Along with finally nailing the screen depth position so the herbals are a perfect distance from the flame today, I am very satisfied and excited and also slightly barbequed..:whoa:

Back to the CAD program! The next print of NoochiePipe is going to look a little bit differently, I think, after some of these changes and additions I want to make get implemented.
