I'm winding down ready for a vacation in the sun, but I got these done.
An 18mm with the fatter part of the joint turned down to try and avoid a dumpy look.

As I've been asked about pipes since the Induction Heater success I threw a couple of my old pieces together.
Black Palm with a Walnut open twist.

And a usage video sped up to fit on IG
I made an account just to say that both the induction heater you built as well as the (presumed) dynavap pipe mod are incredible! Are these items you sell, or do you think will be adopted by the Dynavap line?

I have just ordered another Dynavap. The OmniVonG in blackwood. Oh Lord, I have a new obsession... ;)

The list is now:
- Vapcap M
- Omnivap TI
- OmnoVonG Blackwood
- TI Woody Cocobolo double crown

and I fear that there is still much room for even more Dynavap products. I really have to talk to my wife. I need more money... :D:lol:

PP~ "Oh....this old thing.... "

Holy heck man that thing is awesome!
The grain on the Black Palm and the freakishly fine work on that twist. :luv:
Your video showcases the Induction heater nicely. Great lung capacity and the endurance yanking, I'd be a slobbery mess after those three pulls you took. Well done.
Are you building wood enclosures for @Pipes heater? Or rather, are you guys doing something so there will be units available as a whole? Or is this your own heating unit? :ugh:
Have a great well earned vacation, or holiday.

As I understand it, Its a skeletor with a custom wood encloser that he built.

@Riverpeth many thanks, the pipe was resurrected as a few people have made enquiries since the induction heater.

The only problem @VapCap is going to have is the litigation shit, he'd needs to cover his arse.

More than willing to try out any ideas, some do and some don't work but we'll never know unless some one gets stuck in and tries. Luckily everything has been fine.

@stark1 as it happens I've, hopefully, got a skeletor coming 'as is' when @Pipes sends them out.
This way I can get some enclosures done and be confident that they are a 'one size fits all' affair.
No need for the 'please' it's a done deal.

@SloJimFizz Black Palm is very nice, great contrast, there's a red one as well.
The open twist is defo on for the future, just need to find the right diameter file.
I like the semi exposed look.

@goodpunk6 it's actually my first attempt at any kind of box since I was 15.

And because you all know I'm not one for keeping shit to myself.
SloJimFizz I will openly say I was wankered trying to get that together and I lunched it proper.
I didn't consider the load moving so combust first time, stood shaking my head 'WTF did you do that for'.

Put it down and did something else to make my mind off it, then I sit down and start again.
Filled the bowl and combust straight off, this time I'm vexed, 'fukin cock'.

Proper pissed I attempt to pea shooter the load out and it wouldn't move, you can imagine what I'm calling myself by now. No matter how much force the burnt load wouldn't budge.

As I'm diggerless I get out a cocktail stick and I'm digging the load out and it's solid.

All of a sudden it dawns on me I didn't empty the first load and had vacuumed a new one up and tamped it down into the abv, already burnt vegmatter.

Third time lucky and a bit of turning after to straighten me up.

Any chance the Skeletor could be made to fit within a Dynastash?

PS. I'm not sure where you originate from, but I appreciate the way you string words together, lol

@Riverpeth in it's current guise, not a chance.

@ZC has some more pressing things going on his life for now but once he's able to dedicate some time to his project we could see a more pocketable heater.

UK and I'm Professional Phattpiggie now so I've tamed it down a bit.

I love swearing, dropping swear words into other words and innufukinendo so 'semi exposed', 'oiling your wood' and 'a bit of spit' are right up my 'back passage'.

Stupid Friday Question...

OK, I have a really important question...not really important, but one I've been curious about for awhile, since watching some of the videos etc.

What is the proper pronunciation of "Dynavap"?

Is it Dynavap with a short "a" as in the word "cap", or Dynavap(e) as in some of the videos I've watched? I always thought it was Dynavap with the short "a", but please correct me if I'm wrong, lol!

happy camper....
About the @Pipes Induction heaters.... does anybody know if there's a price list and also a list with pics of the different heaters all in one place (meaning on one page)? I've read a lot about them but find things a bit confusing.

Doesn't have pictures, but here is the link to his faq for the heaters with detailed descriptions: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1_202eBzWeF7rkTjqV5sWumPxtbSNtfjqOZEs1i9d16k/mobilebasic

That is exactly what I needed! Your post with the link should be a part of the "best of" thread?

Thank you!

There are lots of pics over in the thread dedicated to them. Have a look...

Especially pages 31 through 35

Sorry to ask but do you have a link for that? I thought I had saved that thread link at one time but can't find it now. Thanks :)

Here's a link to page 31 of that thread. Many other great pics throughout that great thread outside of pages 31 - 35, too. Kind of tricky to find because is is in the DIY section. I forgot where it was for the longest time. Keep in mind that waiting list is growing quickly - I think for all 3 iterations of the induction heaters.

FWIW, I don't think this should go in DV VC Best of thread, as these already have their own separate thread.

question guys.. my blackwood vong body has a crack from the V in the logo to the cap end, it just showed up today.. what should I do? it's not hindering performance, but what scares me is, when will it start mess with my session? I don't wanna bother George or Randy if it's not going to get worse.

I don't know much but usually it's just a matter of time before a crack in anything gets worse. Don't know about hindering performance.

I do know that neither of those gentlemen would consider it a "bother" to assist a customer. I would at least ask, let em know, so maybe then in the future if it does hinder a session they already kind of got a heads up?
