Hello and good afternoon everyone, I hope all is well! Gosh have had the boys til yesterday for a while was a great time had for sure. We watched some more AGT, wow now its the judges cuts, they 2 young girls we have been watching since the beginning and I was worried that either might get cut this go but neither did, both have awesome voices with a heckofa story each. We got a Ghost in the Shell on DVD and wow what a movie! So the boys went back to their moms yesterday and my girl showed up for the weekend and week ahead, she got us 2 of the fattest rib eye steaks and a lobster tail for me. I have never grilled a lobster tail but did so last night and wow how great it was! And get this shes like I have a surprise for you, she pops the back door of her van and say what has me a brand spanking new push mower inside ohhhh yeah! Mine had just crapped out on me a couple weeks back and the yard was starting to get tough. This thing cuts like a dream, like a hot knife through butter. I have a large yard bout an acre I guess and I push it all, takes me about 2 hours but I enjoy it its good for me to walk that much and am freaking hot and sweating during the whole event but feel so good when I am done. Knowing that the yard looks great and knowing that I got some sun and a work out at the same time is good to. Got some work done on more Amboyna WS this weekend, if anyone wants one before the go live at my site soon better let me know.

The one on the right is like no other and will not be done again, wanted to do something different so here ya have it!

@Eyedunno Ahh yes I see it has shown up and is working well for you, do what ya do and let us know where ya wind up, thanks!

@turk Ya done her a solid bro, good job!

@Square4Life Lol yeah you feeling @turk for sure! I gotta be honest as I have said I am a wood hoarder, I have been buying and putting back blocks for years, I really have no idea what all I have tbh. I take the good good stuff and put it away in the private stash. I have turned many beautiful pieces that are just so stinking amazing but I have never ever kept or put back a piece for myself. I love what I do, I love being able to make the pieces I do, I love that people love what I do, I get alot of joy and fulfillment hearing from people that get my work and enjoy it as much as they do. I just got another order from a guy he bought a dugout from me years ago and said it was still holding up great and had a friend he wanted to get a gift for so he bought another. He liked the one he just ordered so much he didnt want to give it to his friend, thats what I love to hear thats why I do what I do, thats what does it for me.

@GreenHopper & @elykpeace I hope the above answers that for yall.

@Vitolo My man, I appreciate your kind words and you always! You are so right, thanks so much and I hope all is going well for you out there, take care!

Alright gotta catch up on PM's and emails, thanks everyone and I wish you all a great week ahead!

I love all the pictures. It's hard to pick which is more beautiful. I continue to enjoy my Thuya Burl unit with all the added extras and detailed craftsmanship. It's been a wonderful addition to my vaporizer collection. I can see it lasting me maybe a lifetime.

Do you frequently rediscover beautiful little features as you use it? I have a stoned looking ET winking at me in the burl. No one else knows about it but I do. Sometimes I forget, then I find him again. Gives me the warm fuzzies TBH.

After much experimentation & deliberation I have decided on my #1 WS tip & it may surprise some. My original G2 & G3 tips needed a light sand to make them fit the heater cover better. Hundreds of bowls have been vaped through each tip to arrive at my conclusion. Bear in mind they all essentially work the same & it is the most minor detail that wins the day.

Coming in third place is my G3 tip. I fractionally oversanded my G3 tip so it fits well but has a very slight wobble. No problem for use with the WS or standalone but does not get any use these days. It is very close to the G4 tip with the main difference being the external grooves that do not apply to WS usage.

Second place goes to the G4 tip. The main thing going against the G4 is the ridges the screen sits on & it is the same for the G3. Otherwise excellent function, fit & finish.

A very clear #1 for me is the G2 tip. The only reason is because it has smooth inner chamber walls. Makes cleaning ABV out an absolute breeze whereas it can get hung up on the ridges in the G3/4 tip. Strange how the one I was most concerned about is the one I like best.

From the bottom up it goes G3, G2, G4 & the others are all G4 tips.

I just found out that I really like the tip that came with my M for this exact same reason. Like, two days ago, and I was thinking about commenting here about my "discovery".

Great minds, etc etc. Nice collection, btw!

Good morning everyone, hoping you all are doing well. Been a good week past, have had the boys since Thursday and we are about to go to the annual wildlife extravaganza in the city woot woot! Got a new piece I did over the last week or 2 I would say, took a bit of time letting the stones set, what do you think?

Still have to assemble it and turn the stem and WPA, I really like these pieces of Amboyna I have been turning. I have 4 WS blanks left from that block, once they are gone thats going to be it for a long while. The ones above are gone, went quick and am sure the ones I have to do will just as quick.

By now everyone should have the orings I sent out. As I said all ya have to do is slip them over the top of the heat port so they rest on the shoulder. This will seal the gap when using the glass with the WS.

@CarolKing Your Thuya Burl WS is a show piece for sure, I always enjoy your updates and surely hope it lasts you a life time!

@elykpeace Thanks, that piece went first!

@Stevenski Great post bro!

@Stonocrates Ahhh

Not a lot of time left, free sausage calls, as well as many other critter calls, yall take care!

I am sending out a VC cap in every package now. Not only do you have a workhorse of a desktop but also a portable stem when you wanna go out and about. The WS package is loaded with everything, heck I would send ya the kitchen sink if it would fit in the shipping tube.

What if I already own several VC tips and stems? Would it be possible to purchase the WS alone? I'm thinking about a log as my next vape and this would make a WS my first choice.
I also tried a site search with no luck so I'll just ask you: I'm located in the EU, would I need a power converter to use it or can you supply a compatible poswer supply?

Edit: sorry mods!

At last report, Ed was still seeking CE certification for all of the electrical parts. You can check back through a few of his posts, it has not been too terribly long......If I recall, he is not quite there yet, but you can send him a PM

Good morning everyone, up a bit early today getting it going soon in the shop for a short time. Have had the boys for 4 days and having a good time. We watched that movie going in style last night, with the 3 old guys that are upset their house is about to foreclose, their pensions are being taken away and they are going to rob the bank that is part of the problem. Gosh was so fun hearing all of us laugh at the same time. My youngest got so tickled that he laughed and laughed. When that happens his laugh is so cute itll warm your heart every time, its got me grinning now thinking about it. Hmmm I am so blessed with 3 wonderful sons and thankful every day for them! Have had a bit of bad luck, tranny went out in my truck and my stupid phone crapped out, screw Apple, Steve Jobs, and their stupid phones, I am an android guy once again woot woot! Has had me a little down but my girl stepped in and without even asking her for anything she gives me an envelope full of cash, another blessing she is! I gotta be honest, the past few months have been tough. Sales have been slow slow, aint much coming in at all. I have spoken to a few other of my dealers and they say the same thing. Not sure if its summer and everyone spending dough on other things but they arent spending alot my way. Automatic transmissions arent cheap, I jut had that thing overhauled 3 years back, the guy said then that the model and year range for that chevy had bad trannies, ohhhh so not cool. I am a chevy guy but am loosing faith in my silverado. Other than that, kids are still healthy, dogs are still getting fed and wood is still being turned. In fact I was working on a few pieces yesterday, have another 3200 year old Bog Oak WS that will be available soon. 1 or only 4 so far for the oldest log vapes in the world. This piece is darker than the others have been, the outside finish is sleek, I feel its the best yet.

Was also spinning some Buckeye to get them back in stock soon.

This one has nice stress curling and blues on the other side with a couple voids here and there, sure to be a stunner. I have 3-4 Amboyna blanks to turn, ohhh they are going to be so stinking sweet! If anyone is interested in one or the above better let me know before I post em at my site.

Really cool caddy @Stevenski not to busy, just right to keep all neat and tiddy, I like it!

@The Beagle Hello and thank you for your interest in the WS! As @mucsusn has mentioned, thanks for stepping in there too bro, I dont have my CE just yet to offer them in the EU. I am still working on it and to add to my frustration from my other worries I was absolutely angry the other day. I have been working with this supplier in China for my electrical components. They offer them with CE so when I apply for mine it should make it easier if all is already compliant. I am getting short on temp controls so I ordered a bunch more, had to wait a couple weeks for em to get here and when they did show up they are all white, ughhhh who is going to want to use an all white control inline when all else is black. I got on the PC firing off emails of disappointment and anger. My rep says well she is sorry but they do have some black in the warehouse without having to manufacture any extra and will get them out to me just as soon as I pay for em. I was like sure I will pay for em as soon as you send me a return mailer for the white and refund them as well. She wasnt having it said it would cost too much to ship back and mentioned she would give me a better deal on the next order ughhhhh, so freaking upset!!!! Sorry to go off here but it just frustrates me so. I have a bunch of power supplies that have their CE info, I was waiting for them and the temp controls. I have to get another order of heaters placed and get the CE for them then I can apply. At this point I am at least a month away from applying for it. Pls hang in there with me. You will need an adapter or even a EU PS since these will be 12V US with a 2.1x5.5mm jack.

Off to the shop everyone, did here back from a guy that got one of the live edge Amboyna WS, he sent me a great text that really lifted my spirits end of the week, saying it was a beast and wow he was so enjoying it. Was going to give it a few more days and give share his thoughts here soon. Hes a solid guy and am sure you all will like what he has to say as I am anxious to read it. Take care everyone and be safe the week ahead!

Thanks Ed I hope you can get it as soon as possible.
Regarding my other question, would it be possible to purchase just the unit without the tip/cap/stems? I already own several Vapcap parts and I don't need everything you include with the log.

So, this beauty arrived last week. I'm planning on doing a bit more testing before posting my full thoughts but so far it has exceeded even my wildest expectations. The heater is fantastic and the flavor is just so clean and neutral, I love it. I'm currently testing various concentrate pad solutions but so far everything I've loaded into it has been amazing.

Ed was able to masterfully capture the most beautiful live edge around the rim. The long stem he sent fits perfectly in my collection of burl pieces (which were all made by Ed). I'll include the 14/18mm piece he sent as well in my review post.

Ed's communication and customer service skills are top notch. The whole process from start to finish was very easy, and shipping was very fast.

Kick arse collection of stems @Square4Life . Really varied bunch too which is always good to see. What woods are they? Guessing Blackwood, Granadillo?, Cocobolo, Buckeye burl x 2, Amboyna burl x 2 & Cocobolo? Loving that turquoise & am still jealous Carol King has that Blackwood Air/Solo stem :o.

You need to brush out your grinder & make a super bowl of silver tip to put in the silver tip @CarolKing . Your WS will thank you for it & you will thank your WS .

Just picked up a new batch (no idea what strain it is) & had WS bowl through a J hook :whoa:. Really loving the consistent repeatable results that the WS delivers.

Because I am referring to the unit not the strain being vaped. Consistent, full extraction is the name of the game & the WS delivers in spades.

I agree @Stevenski this is vape number 13 for me. Nothing more efficient. uD was close but I didn't like waiting in-between hits to heat back up to an optimum temp.

I love my WS! Everyone should consider looking into the WS if they want a beautiful heavy hitter that doesn't quit. It comes with the VC so you have a portable and desktop that will last for years :tup::love::2c:

Good morning everyone, wow I had school this past weekend. I am a certified range officer for my local 4H club. It was way down south in the state almost a 3 hour drive, my club got my hotel room and class fees, woot woot and they fed me as well! 4H is more than just cows, chickens and pigs, as most of you know we do shooting sports. I learned alot this weekend, most often we have kids that dont fit into football or baseball but still wanna do a sport. Shooting sports is the 3rd most popular sport in the olympics, most dont know it. We encourage growth and success, its not just about competitiveness. Yeah competitions are great and all but watching a child get better and better with their aim and the discipline it takes to group their shots down range repetitively in varying conditions and seeing them smile with accomplishment is a big big deal. Believe me mine spend enough time on their electronics devices so getting them outside and doing this is positive and I will be able to make sure its done properly and safely, very cool! On the way home my girl and I took the long way, yeah she went with me, was great, she sat through the whole class doing her thing she likes to sew, listening and was so nice to look over and see her smile back at me when our eyes met. We live apart and our times together arent that often as we would like so she went too. We went through one of the delta river towns where there are these really old plantation ruins of a huge house that was built in the 1800's that burned down. I had seen it on TV and in artists pics and paintings at festivals and had wanted to see it for the longest time. I mean in the middle of no where you drive back into the deep woods and there it is, Windsor Ruins

ppTp4Rq.jpg

The columns were really tall and spread out over a large area. The neat cast iron toppers looked to be still in great condition, was fun to see for sure.

So I have been working more wood as always, I had 4 blocks of the Amboyna left. I made mention of that and now 2 are gone. I have 2 left that are all red with burl eyes all over them, if anyone wants to get one of the 2 pls let me know. As said once they are gone they are gone, unless a great deal falls out of the sky in my lap which I just dont see happening thats it for em.

@Quint Wow bro, you got a great shot of that piece, well done bro! I like the 3 stems pictured, another great line up. Thanks so much for the kind words, was a pleasure working with you and appreciate it all. Am anxious to hear what you think after the time you have had with it. Do what ya do and post up when ya can, thanks!

@Square4Life Wow again another beautiful line up for sure! Thanks bro, always good working with you and communicating with you is a breeze. I hope all is going well and look to hear from you again anytime!

@CarolKing Woot woot love seeing all this wood, rrrrrr Silver Tip huh, sounds yummy!

@Stevenski Yeah didnt think anything about turquoise when you and I were talking about it, my bad bro. Ya know that might be a good reason to grab another one day, hmmmm just saying! See the Cocobolo threw ya, its so wild how I could do a box of 20 coco pieces and they all be so different. The pieces I get are from Nicaragua, they vary so much in color and tone, so beautiful. Ahhh yes WS delivers!

@sickmanfraud hope all is well your way bro!

@elykpeace 13 gosh yes sir I would say you have a good handle on what works and what doesnt. So glad to hear the WS is working well for you bro, thanks for the recommendation am most grateful!

@mucsusn I like that Amboyna piece ya got from me, very neat! Also very cool seeing that Thuya in the background!

Alright I am off to make it happen, dont know no other way!
