Might buy another Arizer Air as early as next week, maybe it's not early enough, eh?
I am torn between this and a Grasshopper, which I've wanted for like 3 freaking years, but I already know the Air is damn legit. Thoughts and suggestions?

I did look into the Solo 2, but it's out of my price range, or hell maybe I'll get another Solo, that thing was so badass...AHHHHH

OF....thanks for that link for the mini aqua stem. I ordered one and cant wait to try it. I need a more discrete way to use the AA from time to time. This will be fine if it works for me...especially at the low price. The ones that are bigger diameter look like a quick crack coming on to me. I have a nice padded Vatra case and it looks this one from Randy will fit perfect in a smaller vape slot as well.

Arizer Air is the god damn tits! Still going strong rockin' the stock stem and battery. Going to get the hydra-tube, batteries and stems here soon.

I have a confession though............I'm buying the SOLO2 around Xmas time. Ho ho ho :haw:

still think the AA will be my go to vape for on the go. The SOLO2 will be more for home...vaporbong action. :spidey:

Have 4 batteries right now
Gonna get another higher capacity battery and a nitecore d4, so once 4 run out, i can vape on that high cap while the other 4 charge lol

I run thru these batteries so quick
Gonna get blasted off this jelly donuts x cherry pie x purple punch x strawberry shortcake x og x blueberry kush mix
Tastes like candy, its insane.

I only ever use the green, white and blue heat settings anymore. Green when vapor bonging off the d020.
Orange and red = serious cotton mouth

I got one of the mini aqua stems with the cut out slits. I think They could use half the amount of slits as it seems to allow too much air added. But with that said, I found the taste to not be very good at all for some reason. I cleaned it out with 91 iso and several filtered water rinses. It hits ok but the lake of taste turns me off some. I will give it another week of use time to time when away from home and see if that changes.

I have several types and sizes of water units.....my toker 2 works head and shoulders above all others. The amount of water is good and the amount of chamber area above the water is not much in comparison. I think this is key with bubblers/bongs for vaporizing, try to find the most efficient unit that allows for max taste.

With my toker 2.....I only need to use pink and green. Most of the time the pink setting can work very well as I can cause the oven to be max temps while hitting each toke close to each other. My vapor and taste with this setting and my main rig is awesome. Using my other units like the D020.....are only half the taste and vapor production with the same pattern of use.

Just got a nice big straight side 14 inch'er from Sunshinestore on dhgate.

I was not sure what the honeycomb deal would work like...but it works well enough. Nice big base and its heavier but not too much of a beast to hold and use. My bro for his air, got a 12 inch beaker type with traditional downstem on an angle....works great but its heavy with such a large water level area.....like 16-20 oz of water....but hits great with the 6 slit stem and you can control the pressure amounts easy for what ever type hit you want. I am more happy with this new one than any I have tried so far.

Anyway, this guy is 14 3/16 tall and has a 18mm joint....wanted to find one this big with a 14 but impossible. In this style of straight shooter....I was looking to get one with the joint connection as low as possible to allow the air to sit well below my face when using it. Some of the 26-29cm ones that are slightly smaller diameter main section have the 14mm joints with smaller down tube sections...but they have wimpy small bases and the air looks like it will sit at the same level as the top of the mouth piece.

It was hard to find a 12-13.5 one in this same style but with a 14mm joint/down tube section. But after drilling my carb hole (as I do with any dumb lift off joint water unit), this thing is awesome. I can pull slow and get what I need with lower heat and longer hits...or I can pull medium and get big quick pulls of vapor easily. I can clear a normal fill size of 12 or so hits from my normal water unit or 14 from my D020....OR 6-8 HITS FROM THIS BAD BOY......talk about getting power hits that feel much better at feeding that bigger hit need....this baby did it for me.

So now I have 3 decent water units for my various needs or locations. Im totally set now. Just which I could see that new version of the air soon.

The little stem (linked a few posts back from OF) is quite nice. The noise makes it much less quiet when using it at night in bed, so I always feel bad because I don't want to bother the sleeping bed buddy. Also, I noticed it's not hard to pull water through the mouthpiece...that's a bit annoying.

Too much water? Blow out all the water and fill with less.

Anything worth doing, is worth overdoing.
I haven't commented in some time but wanted to say that my Air is still going strong. It is mostly my travel vape and it gets a lot of use during summer vacations. I just came back from a trip and all I needed was the Air, a gong which I use as a short stem, and a smoke buddy for hotel rooms. That plus a small jar of herb is very easy to travel with and use quickly, conspicuously and quite effectively. It also works well on the beach.

I just ordered an Air and Im looking for extra batteries. I want to use the proper OEM BAK batteries but I'd like to procure them from a cheaper source if possible. I have noticed that the Air used to come with a pink battery labeled H18650CC VW5C27E, but now it looks like it comes with a red battery labeled B18650CC. I found these on ebay labeled H18650CC VW6F03J. Are these the correct batteries?

If you want to be sure you get the battery you pay for than I would avoid ebay and instead look at imrbatteries.com. Low prices and no counterfeits.

They do not carry BAK batteries from what I can tell. Anyways I just want to know if they would be the correct battery assuming they are authentic, which they do appear to be.

The "BAK" battery that ships with the Air is just a re-wrap from China, I suggest buying the LG MJ1 from IMR, it provides numerous bowls on a single charge and keeps the Air cool in the hand.

From what I understand that would technically void the warranty. Besides that, I don't see those batteries on there either. Do you have a source for the BAK being rewraps? They are Chinese batteries to begin with and I thought BAK was the manufacturer.

Just sharing my experience and offering you my opinion. If you decide to purchase the BAK batteries go right ahead....

Too much water? Blow out all the water and fill with less.

After washing and rinsing I invert it and blow out everything I can. The water caught in the upper trap is a very good starting point for fill experiments. Remember, in action the level rises as the water between the tubes and below the side holes gets sucked through to the 'output side'.

And we have none other than out our Centizen researching it reporting it's definitely not the case. It's a very unique cell, single source, he was selling them at one point in time. There's a thread on it somewhere......

I am just wondering about the new air2 version that is to come out. Should I be happy now that I have the current one with no problems? Reading about the software or other types of issues with the solo2 that are being reported....I'm hesitant about upgrading right away when it comes out.

I don't want to be in the situation like others now with a solo2 .....not being able to turn on...heat up...or get rid of software errors. Though I have not followed info on the solo2 much....I just see this sticking out in some of the things I read over lately.

I am just wondering about the new air2 version that is to come out.

Is there really an Air 2 in the works?

I Haven't read anything but speculation about that happening when the Solo 2 was introduced. Is there any real news concerning an updated Air from Arizer?
