Space Queen has C99 genetics (I believe), and was a delight to me. Have never tried anything with JC genetics, but have heard great things.

space queen is c99(which i love, pineapple pheno :D) x romulan. if you like that then youll love killer queen c99 x g13 got a cherry/strawberryish koolaid tasting pheno once....simply amazing....well anything with c99 is. blueberry x c99 from joey weed was also a tasty potent strain, his c99 was on point too.

the best thing about subcools genetics is that they are f1's for the most part, gotta love hybrid vigor and the genetic variation from plant to plant is beautiful imo as different users will like different phenos and because of the diversity it is possible to pick the pheno that suits you best. his strains are also very tasty, sorry for going ot i was a strain whore in my last life.

No worries, I'm a c99 and all of it's hybrids. I have yet o try Killer Queen tho but today I picked up some Sour Flower X Blue Dream hybrid that absolutely looks amazing. I'll bring some to SPARC tomorrow ;)
i dont know about sour flour i would think some type of chem is in there lol but blue dream has been on my wish list for quite some time. killer queen is amazing bro, if you get the chance you wont be disappointed. i wish i lived on the left coast so i could grow my own again

Food for Thought on the Hidden Cost of Tubing

Resumed using EQV 20 days ago after returning VXC beta unit for tweaking. Today I replaced the tubing for the second time, also replaced 10 days ago. I buy this stuff in bulk from 7th Floor, 20 feet at a time for $26. Each section cost $3.71 and lasts me only 10 days. It may last you a little longer but 10 days is all I can take before I begin choking on the solidified vapor built up in the tubing.

So, the hidden cost for me of using a whip style vape is .37 cents a day or $135.00 a year. :uhoh:

I might be close to the other end of the spectrum. I find that particles that stick to the sides of the tubing stay put, and condensed vapor doesn't really bother me except for the fact the dirtier it is, the more of a vapor magnet it is, and efficiency suffers. I might replace my 2' of SSV tubing once a month, depending on how much I use it. I can get tubing delivered for about a buck a foot, so $24/yr or 6.5cts/day.

The matter really boils down to individual sensitivity. I mentioned it to SM 10 days ago when I switched out the first tube. By yesterday I was gagging on the condensed vapor, which transforms into ultra fine powder on the tube walls and irritates me. As soon as I switched tubes, no more gagging. Wish I could go longer to economize but obviously my well begin come ahead of a few cents. :peace:

You can take the glass fittings off the hose, get a bit of cotton wool rolled into a ball and push it through the hose with a piece of wire or something, then you can make your hose last longer and vape the oil collected. I usually pack a cyclone bowl of just cotton wool and run it through the Q at max temp with fan speed 3 for 10 minutes before I use it to clean the hose, this way it is free of any crap you might other inhale when vaping it.

I had that problem with my Extreme, as well pappy.

So did anyone get out to SPARC today to check out the cloud? God I can't wait for this thing to come out!

Nope. Back on track, two of the biggest fringe benefits of the VXC are:
1) No Tubing (or expense)
2) No Cleaning (elbows, cyclones, DBV wands, etc.)

You also aren't goin to break your bowl by dropping it. If you break a hydratube, their is a plethora of alternatives till you get another. Assuming the VXC runs after regulr use for year after year, it will be very cost effective except for the silly amounts of glass all vxc owners are destined to buy.

I have long abandoned tube required vapes, but my VHW needs new rings constantly, I use it a lot and have not found anything to use that would work or where to find them locally, so i have been needing to email vrip every couple of months...

Cant wait for a ground glass connection on all parts

Blue Dream has been in my top 3 strains ever since I tried it from a Cali dispensary back in 2007. I love it. It is definitely one of the strongest strains I 've had.

Man, I haven't had Blue Dream in awhile. Last time I tried it was about 2 years ago, and I remember it being quite nice. Smooth and tasty. Thanks for reminding me about that. If BD every finds it's way thru CRC again, I just may have to pick me up some. Lot of people are crossing it now though.

any kind of wide base attachment for the cloud included? Just looking at the photo in Pappy's sig http://img.skitch.com/20100605-1dh9tuxncb9ytit7kwie8qkbq9.jpg, that's kind of what I am talking about. Both those vapes have quite wide bases.

The reason the base on the Cloud isn't as wide as the other vapes that you mentioned so that it could be used with more waterpipes, specifically the fixed stem and stemless variety where the female gong joint is parallel to the tube. The Cloud is also designed to be used as a handheld which is why we didn't put as much emphasis on the wideness of the base. Lastly, for those that want to use it as a desk top model, the upcoming CloudStation will allow you to dock your Cloud into it for more stability, the CloudStation will also hold 4 HydraTubes.

Onto other news... Met up with Doback last Friday at SPARC. Had a great conversation with him and his fiance, I'm sure he will be on here shortly with some feedback of the Cloud.

Lastly, I am becoming a bigger and bigger fan of the Blue Dream. Over the weekend got to try something called Blue Dragon which is a cross of Blue Dream and Green Crack. Made for some of the finest looking herb I have seen. The contrast in colors was amazing and the high was energetic and creative. This is the first time I have ever tried it but enjoyed it immensely. I wonder if you could just shred some Green Crack with Blue Dream and recreate the experience?

Cloudstation sounds amazing! This vape deserves a shrine lol

As for the Blue Dream, I havent had any of it for about 6 months, and im hoping it finds its way to my dispensary, as it had to be one of the best tasting buds ive had.

As for grinding up some BD and GC, you may get similar results, but I dont think you cuold replicate the blue dragon in that fashion. I do not know a lot about genetics, growing, etc, but I think that some things change when cross breading. ie, youll get some results that werent present or in abundance in either original strain.

Yup. Lots of BD crossing going on.

The GC/BD cross looks interesting.

This is copied from my dispensaries menu from last week. Another BD cross:

"BD/Sour 4 Way - Excellent Blue Dream/Sour Diesel Four Way cross 36e/274z"
(I wonder what they mean by 4-way cross when it's only two strains that were crossed. Not a grower, so maybe someone can explain. Pricing looks good though.)

That makes sense. Any pictures or mock ups of a CloudStation? :peace:

CloudStation mock up, this is one of several concepts so we are still playing around with different configurations but this will give you a good general idea of how everything fits together.
