It sounds like a few people have already gotten their vapcap orders in. Did anyone not receive shipping notice that has already received their order? I haven't gotten shipping notice on my July 1st order but I want to respect the team and not have them feel like I'm breathing down their necks!

Anybody has a tip how to get the new Omni hassle free in Europe? Any vendors who have it in stock already?
I soooo want it but have bad experience with customs and would like to order local or via a service who do the custom stuff like some eBay seller do.

They had asked that members here not flood them with shipping inquiries, that while they will work ASAP
to fill all orders, answering antsy enquirers would take away from shipping. Fair enough.

Now i have to decide if i take the XL or wait a bit. I want the normal length but hate waiting. But i own the former Omni, so i should be able to wait..... and i want a vong body for my Omni because i never really loved the look of the body. I DO love the function and that it is basicaly indestrutable.

It's not even been a full two weeks...and WOW haven't things changed from the old days, when "allow 2-6weeks for delivery" was cast in iron...(before UPS made home deliveries).

As I've said elsewhere, I fully get the impatience, I have it: I just don't let it climb up on me and ride me around anymore. No matter how eager I am, no matter how excruciating the wait, the simple truth is that George & DV do an amazing job - producing, assembling, packing, labeling, shipping, sorting, restocking supplies, raw materials, refining, redesigning, perfecting, negotiating, hiring, training...to say nothing about normal business crap like quarterly filings, weekly payroll, chasing A/R, juggling A/P, working on the website, and keeping their vendors honest....

Adding a sale like the one they just threw for us raises their activity & performance to the level of a extreme sport.

I got my shipping notice yesterday - 11 days from the order; it will still be a day or two before my pkg makes it into the warm clutches of the USPS, but if it hadn't arrived within the first 14 days, I'd have reset the waiting clock until 14 days after the sale ended. At that point I would enquire.

From what little experience I have on the far end, they're all probably face-down in their work & calls about this order or that order would truly slow them ALL down...

Everyone is aware of the DV VC SHipping Thread now, right?

I always forget until sale time and sometimes post here (in wrong thread), too. But, often find more info there about who is getting shipping notices, when they ordered, etc. Certainly best place to ask & tell on our waits. Keeps it all out of here, and is easier to keep track of such things in specific thread - MUCH easier!

This is what happened to my previous order (the barcodes were too thin, therefore illegible).
But you just have to wait, as already said, sending messages will waste more time than winning some.

The magical day has arrived.......the new Omni XL is cleaned, heat oxidized and ready for today's adventures. Plus four new clean and cycle checked M's for friends. Some triple jet torches from the local e-cig shop. The best part is the hands on lessons!

Also a new Ti body and two new tips and caps for my @phattpiggie stems. Life is good.

@mucsusn life is good, unfortunately all my friends still smoke and there is no persuading them to change.
Shame as $20 for an M was stupidly cheap for a serious combustion fucking device.

Some lucky people out there judging by the amount of tubes being crammed into those green envelopes of joy.

@Ruta was round this week and we both think it's a shame that the people we know just don't get it.
We may be going to a 420 style show over here to see how it looks for setting up a stall next year.

One more order to get done and I'll be setting up a new list.
This lot should ship in the next few days, just need a final sand on the Mokume ones. I wasn't happy with the first 14mm so did another.

A follow-up for folks who are waiting:

I noticed a small thing with my order, a missing space in my street address. I corrected it as I was completing the order add-on yesterday, thought nothing more about it...but then my order shipped immediately, and then I got to thinking.

Could that glitch in my shipping address have held things up?

I went & looked at my info @ DV, and sure enough that same glitch was still there in the address. I changed it & saved it.

Makes me wonder if anything similar could be holding up other orders? It's only speculation, but checking your account to make sure all is correct in the ship-to area might be the most productive thing you could do.

Worth a shot, anyway

I think you just echoed the spirit of my message. I don't want to bother the folks hard at work, was just seeing if anyone had received their orders prior to being given notice of shipping.

I'm not sure if most of your message regarding impatience was directed at me. If so, I think you've got your crosshairs pointed at the wrong target.

not pointed at YOU by any means, call it an exercise in my own self-management - like I said, I house plenty of impatience, but cognitive moments help. I had one. Your admirable post was a reminder of the larger ongoing matter of 'waiting for sale goodies', that's all.

Part of my address changes and I have to change it back every time I order.
It's fail-safe though, as the cc won't go through until I correct it.

After you make your address changes, exit and return and see if it stuck. My changes didn't, so I told Dynavap and they helped me by making the changes for me. When they did it, it stuck.

got my nonavong today

first impressing is wow !! . i just used it as is so far no water tools yet . it took me a few times to start figure out were to heat it to get a good hit . but when i did alls i can say is holy smokes..... err i mean vapors lol :D

this thing hits harder then my grass hopper . i thought i might have burned it at first but nope , just a nice brown abv . but for just a mouth pull it had me coughing good . felt a real chest expansion too .

i really like the fact that it seems to be better for mouth pulls , its more like smoking a joint in that regard
which i like very much .

i think this is gonna be my new favorite vape :lol:
