It's one of the things I love most about the VapCap, the amount of customisation and the flexibility of the platform. The fact that a basic VapCap functions so well but yet the overall experience can be improved by so many little amendments and additions.
It's also one of the things I love, but as a newbie myself, the VC world can be a little intimidating until you jump in!

So yesterday I was at a bbq for a friend's birthday and after seeing my Omni and another friend's M a guy asked me about buying one. So I told him that there's a discount going on and I would have been glad to order one for him with my Dynavap account. After like ten minutes everyone wanted one and now I'm adding to my cart seven M's. @VapCap hire me, I'm good at selling Vapcaps!

Drooling over Dynavap's website.
It's small, but not as small as the Dynastash.

The unhoused naked Skelator is 2 1/2" x 2 1/2" x 3 1/2". So that's almost 22 cubic inches without a casing.

The Dynastash is 3/4" x 2" x 4 1/4" all in. Slightly more than 6 cubic inches. The Dynastash takes up less than a quarter of the space.

It will be neat to see how his deconstructed and sheathed induction heater comes out.

Isn't it great how the simple little Vapcap has generated so many after market accessories!

Hmm yeah the heater is quite large for that. To be honest i only know there are a few solutions for a vapcap heater. Except than Pipe's heaters i also seen some modded eCig mods as a heater. They are quite small, wouldn't something like that be sufficient? Anyone used a mod like that?

It is but I've found that by suggesting people starting out just stick to an M, a dual flame lighter and possibly one of @Pipes plug in heaters they can experience the Vapcaps capabilities and vape signature for about $120 ($60 without the heater).

If they like how the VC works (most do) then they can delve into the world of VC customisation.

Nice! You need a special VC Ambassador badge....;)

The previous Omni condenser was stainless steel with a titanium mp. Now the Omni is all titanium with the exception of the high temp orings and the temp indicating stainless steel cap.

Yup, George following the Steve Jobs hand book. I am not gonna cave on a new Omni condenser just for the Ti tube. Nope, not gonna. Not just yet anyways. :D
This thread reminds me of an Apple store as well. A frenzy of people asking lots of the same questions having similar problems and you being one of the head Blue shirts, calmly showing the way.

Given how few people live here my area is going to have a very high (ha ha ha) VC per capita rate.
I also somehow resisted the urge to order a new generation tip or something else for myself so it will go along with my self control badge.
Same here, I grabbed a couple of M's for some friends and a spare latest gen tip as I've got a few stems spare so figured why not.

I wanted the new Omni but I'm mostly using @phattpiggie's stem on my MFLB Orbiter which doesn't require a condenser and I use my Omni condenser in my @Winegums custom stem. So just couldn't justify it, my current focus is on glass and heating tech. Can't wait for my @Pipes heater to arrive.

I don't use my @phattpiggie stem on my regular bubbler as I prefer a tighter draw so I go with my Omni to adjust it but I find the stem to be perfect on the smaller volume Orbiter. I'm thinking about having the same friend who made me the flask stand to build a wooden cube where to store orbiter, tip, stem and some sort of mouthpiece for the Orbiter (BTW, what are you using? I don't like whips and my bubbler mouthpiece is way to big for the little guy). It could be a great options for carrying a glass piece around.
But then, I'll need a spare tip and cap to keep in the cube...

@GreenHopper I was also thinking the setup you described is ideal for a beginner and was going to make a post about it but you beat me to it by half an hour! I guess great minds think alike. :sherlock:

I may still make the post I intended, even if it's a bit redundant now.

Indeed bud, I'd post your suggestion anyway as this thread moves so fast I'm sure we will be reposting the starter kit suggestion for some time to come

Ah yep my @phattpiggie stem has no carb hole so it's a nice tight draw. I think we have a very similar vape style.

I too hate whips, I actually turned my MFLB Orbiter whip info an @t-dub style water flushing tube for cleaning.

I asked @Oregonglassblower to make me two straight flared end 14mm mouth pieces. One was 5.5" long and the other was 6.5" long. I prefer the shorter one.

Hmm. Anyone else who ordered on the same night their sale began, and still haven't received shipment confirmation?

I placed my order on the very first night and got an order confirmation the same night but no shipping confirmation yet. Personally I'm not in any rush but that's because I mostly grabbed M's for friends. Hope the wait isn't to stressful for ya, it will happen soon. My guess is they are probably collating batches to ship out.

@Rickuz : Yes, you just have to wait a little..

I'm just dreaming of a Dynastash with embedded heater.....:leaf:
. Someone ask exactly the same question on Dynavap's Instagram, about an induction heater in a dynastash. The person who manages the account replied "definitely being considered".. Don't know who's behind the Instagram account, but often the beloved photo have no relation between them, sometimes it's even almost WTF

Yeah I know. It's just so hard to be patient since this will be my first vaporizer ever. Feeling like a kid waiting for X-mas.

It gets worse, while you are waiting for your new vape you'll inevitably end up browsing other threads on the forum. This means by the time you receive your new vape you'll already be signed up to by 500 more vapes, 5000 accessories for vapes and 10,000,000 different bubblers and glass adapters.

Welcome to VAS, good luck :p

AWESOME!!! Well done! I thought of doing the same, but fortunately - even in my stoned state - i just passed on website info for them to purchase themselves. My $ is tight after this sale and a few other purchases, and was turning on people from a huge geographic area. Didn't want to have to feel like Santa hitting every house quickly in a couple weeks when the order arrives.

Ahhhhh.. yes. The wait! Always worse when you're jumping on for big sale, especially with DV. Am guessing they got MANY orders since Friday night. Take some comfort in knowing this will happen with sales most places, but DV and Arielle will get stuff out faster than any other vendors I've dealt with. Wouldn't be surprised to see a post from here with a pic of stacks of green and purple foil envelopes from her later today. And, must say I'm glad she's getting them all together instead of letting us know about it here now.

I asked for a smaller carb hole but my final stem has a regular one (first one was defective, @phattpiggie sent me a new one). I tried piercing a little hole in a piece of rolling paper but then it was making a very annoying high pitched sound while drawing.

I asked @Oregonglassblower to make me two straight flared end 14mm mouth pieces. One was 5.5" long and the other was 6.5" long. I prefer the shorter one.

I was thinking about placing another order to @Oregonglassblower but shippig to Italy would be a bit too high for just a mouthpiece. I'll try to have a custom wooden mouthpiece made to fit over the Orbiter whip adapter.

Can't remember where I read it but someone suggested making a tiny cork plug for the carb hole when using with a water tool. Might work for you, alternatively a small slip of silicon tubing around the stem where the carb is could work.

That's the downside, it cost as much to ship the 2x stems to the UK as is did to have the stems made up. However, I use the stems everyday and cherish them so I still feel like I got value for money. Hopefully I'll have them for a long time so I see it as an investment. :D

Dyna-shipment touched down today...worst part is I think I'm going to grab one more before the sale is up...i don't know what has come over me...i have to hide it too...as the other half of this operation thinks I need to try new things instead of buying the same thing but slightly different, they don't understand is all...

The production M's look really nice and the new Ti omni Body is beautiful as well...would be SUPER DOPE if they had a Ti nonavong body :mmmm: @flotntoke that sounds like an awesome time! I just have a hard time sharing my VC's unless I'm controlling the situation, I commend your ability to 'let go'!

What do you all think...spinning mouthpiece and ti tip for modulation OR Ti woody XLS to mix it up (I want the XLS)???

Hmm. Anyone else who ordered on the same night their sale began, and still haven't received shipment confirmation?

In previous sales many of us went a bit nuts. We would place an order, then place another.....maybe change our minds about which stem to choose etc. so, George arranged it so we can continue to add to our purchase as long as the shipping confirmation has not been sent.

This time around is the same. We can all make another purchase at sale prices and add them to our order with no additional shipping fees.

I bet they have all our orders lined up ready to go and tomorrow morning, after the sale has ended and we have stopped our feeding frenzy, we will see a flood of shipping confirmations. Tomorrow will tell the tale.

What do you all think...spinning mouthpiece and ti tip for modulation OR Ti woody XLS to mix it up (I want the XLS)???

XLS all the way baby! :spliff:

Soooooooo, BEAUTIFUL!!! Thanks for pic. Helps while I wait for my order!

Sometimes hard to share my VCs, too. I stay close and watch closer unless they've proven their ability to respect the click. Plus, I left all my engraved caps at home, just in case. Strong beers help, too! Mostly IPAs of 7% or more ABV.

Just another one of my tales below. Thanks to all for letting me indulge, but most VC discussion all above. If you're in TLDR mode, or find my stories boring, might be best to skip along to next post now. :)

.... Had many good beers! Hence my walking everywhere after 6 yesterday, and waking up on an uncomfortable and dog hair covered sofa! All good. I like the dogs there, and would have been driving home with one eye closed while way over the limit. Something I haven't tried since my idiotic young 20's. And, kind of like the fact that the pupps woke me up early so I could get home to mine before regular morning feeding time. Actually, kind of wondered if my dog called them to send me home until I got that first cup of coffee in me. Got to love good friends who kind of expect you to make a pot if you have time and come wandering out to join you once they smell it going - even if it is shite coffee in a drip coffee maker. Yeah... unfortunately I've become a coffee snob, too. Add that to vapor, vapes, strains, beer, wine, and more types of food than I care to type. But, keep all that to myself and am grateful for whatever while I'm visiting. Good friends are the best, even if they did give the futon I usually crash on to a couple who was staying over. I sure as Hell didn't notice or have any troubles at all when I finally crashed out! :ko: And, managed to grab the sofa before my poor bud that ended up in the recliner.

We vaped so damned much I'm kind of surprised we didn't melt anything or combust more than once. For much of the evening, we were sitting around one of those old metal outdoor tables with the umbrella hole in the middle, so got everyone into putting the cap down to it for better/quicker cooling. Worked great and highly recommend this if you find yourself in a similar situation. Forgot to mention in post above that what shut down the VCing late in the evening (midnight or so?) was lack of butane. Had my 3 favorite lighters, all topped off and we went through all of them enough to get to sputtering. Pulled everything out for cleaning a little while ago, and man, things are gooey - especially condensers. Might have to try to reclaim some, even if just scraping out. I usually don't bother trying to reclaim with these, but every plastic tube I opened offered its own distinct sweet scent. Shit got a little crazy with strains and mixtures once most wanted to vape instead of roll one up or hit a bowl. "It's so smooooooth" was repeated all through the night - first about vapor, then about damned near everything as we got more tuned up. Think everyone knows how silly phrases can become the shit when things get like this!

Funnier still is how much us late nighters that could hang in, coughed once VCs were done and we were hitting a couple fatties. Yes, I did partake in a bit of smoky combustion and felt it in my throat this morning. Kind of hard not to at that point when the party is winding down, and everyone is 3 sheets to the wind. Knew it would be harsh for me (always is), but was surprising how much the regular combusters got hit hard with the smoke after only a few hours of vaping instead. Another cool thing was that once a few people started hitting the VCs (and Mi until we went thru 2 batts), almost everybody wanted to vape instead of smoke. This was an odd development that I haven't seen at parties before, but was awesome for me and a good friend who is a regular vape fiend these days now that I've finally got him off the smoke. Usually find a few people who will vape, at least a few hits, and some that want nothing to do with it. Not so this time, as the particular party mentality with this great group of people took it to vaping all the way. Was so cool watching others talk people into it, even those who usually don't partake at all. Only one out of about 15 or so of us, took a couple of vapor hits and said - this is shit - I'm going back to my bowl. And, he can be a bit of a whining downer anyway, so no real surprise.

Good friends, old friends I hadn't seen in a while, new friends, happy dogs, fireworks, burgers, hot dogs, chicken, beer, way too much weed, great music from the stereo and the couple acoustic guitars being passed around, all kids somewhere else (thank you grandparents around the world!). Good times! Really, good times! Best 4th I've had in quite some time.

Hope everyone else enjoyed theirs, too!
