Herborizer corner

Almost there...
Tried something new tonight with the Ti herbo.
Loaded a bowl of watermelon and placed injector on bowl and allowed it to heat soak for a bit...
HOLY COW!!! Instant whitewall and browning of herb!
Smack right to the brain.

I think getting the timing on the heat soak is critical.

I presume that was on setting 6 (?), and if so, that is actually what I would have predicted.
Doing this on setting 5 will likely also give some interesting, yet different results.
There is some variety to be had with the Ti depending on these variables. It could take some time to get an accurate feel for all the individual outcomes.

Think I'll let you do all the testing,, and wait for your book to come out with the "chart" on page 4!;)

@Carlos8400 where do we get the steamroller???

I'm afraid i don't know. He did them early on in the XL development, but because of lack of interest stopped production and removed them from the website.
I don't think he was planning on making them again until i asked about it.

I'm sure you could message him and see if he has more left. He might be able to put them back on the website if enough people want one.

I am loving the Ti set on 6.5 suing micro loads of Watermelon!
Flavor is so good and clouds are almost instant with a medium draw.
I just cover the screen and get 3 big hits, all good and tasty!
Using the Ti in my 9" RooR WT and it milks is effortlessly.
This is a serious upgrade from the XL i used to love!

Nice you enjoy it! Would you actually say you prefer the Herb Ti to the FP?

Why do you always want to compare the vaporizers with each other ?

There are plenty of vaporizers and full of ways to use them.

vaporpedia : "Despite what you might have heard, there is no best vaporizer. What's the best car or the best fruit? It's a matter of personal preference. Luckily, there is s a wide variety of quality vapes on the market. You just need to do some research and figure out what best suits your needs."

@lazylathe , how strange is that? I got up nearly an hour ago today, and I found myself wondering "I wonder how Lazylathe is getting on with his Herb Ti? I wonder if he is still using setting 6, and I wonder how he compares it to the XL now after more trials?"

Honestly, that was my excat thinking just a while ago, and then I see your post!!

Very good point @latulipe999 about different vapes not necessarily being better or worse than each other, but still, I get you @Hogni , I think it is fun and exciting to compare, in a "Clash of the Titans"!

I think it may be difficult for a vapor newbie to found interesting informations in a "clash of the titans" forum.

I did the expense. Many people who boasts and little real information.

Can we try to stay in the subject of the thread ? ;)

They both have their strengths and weaknesses. One is not really superior to the other. With careful setup, they are nearly identical but still maintain their differences.

I use them both equally as well as a lot of other high end vapes.

As @latulipe999 said "What may be excellent for you, may be useless to me"
To me there is no ultimate vape for everyone.

@lazylathe, thank you friend! I was just interested in YOUR opinion about them.

@latulipe999. I'm no vape newbie at all. But I'm interested in the opinion of SOME other guys I value put on their opinion for things I haven't tried. I'm absolutely able to build my own - the most important and ultimately decesive - opinion.
Opinions of somebody like lazylathe are just part of MY reseaches how you called it.
And I mean it IS part of the subject of this thread. Alt least more than some announcements that somebody has ordered his item and is waiting for it. Nice for him but improving this thread?

If you would have read the whole thread you'd have seen that - subjective -comparison of handling and performance of the Herb Ti to other devices IS an important aspect in this thread.
You are absolutely new to this thread and want to decide with your first posts here what's worth to discuss and what not?? Pretty strange...
So what's your problem?

...and as we can assume that every High-End Vape functions quite good in his own style, comparisons are what helps us with buying decisions...
especialy with the top end Vapes there is no way around this - most people who are interested in the TI will already own Vapes and search something better or different.

@Hogni It happens that it is behind you that I posted this remark but it could have been anyone.

Nothing personal like you seem to think. Just tired to read threads full of versus.

PS: If you had observed this thread more atentively you would have noticed that I am not unknown.

Everything's ok....:peace:

Hope, my ordered Herb Ti will come soon. Probabely I'll compare it to others and write about...:ko:
Yes please do. I really dont see the harm in comparisons. As others say, it is an inevitable necessity to get a clearer idea of what a vaporizer offers and the sort of experience it provides, the pros and cons etc, in relation to other vapes.

And not strictly about which is better, just what makes them different. And I fully agree with you Hogni, we need this information to make informed choices, or even just to watch from the sidelines, it is very relevant to each vape specific thread, and in my view makes things more interesting.

I havent vaped for over 3 weeks now. Got another 9 days to go still. But I did dream I was hitting my Ti 2 nights ago with a micro load- although I didn't catch the temp setting!

That's the first time I have ever dreamt of hitting the Herbo Ti yet, despite dreaming about 4 other vapes recently that I dont own!:hmm:
So this dream finally has enticed me to use it again, hopefully next friday.

Edit: don't get me wrong, I was already enticed, but it did feel a bit wrong dreaming about all these other dates and not the one I'm actually going to be using!

Hey guys,

Just wanted to post a quick feedback on the Steamroller...
I have used it daily for a week, didn't use a water piece since receiving it.
I was expecting my throat to give up after a few days, but this thing is super smooth, i don't notice a huge difference between it and a water piece as far as smoothness goes. There is definitely more flavour with the dry pipe, and a little bit more heat, but that's about it.
It is very nice to use, fits nicely in the hand. The little feet keeping it up could be slightly bigger, but they do the job fine.
I haven't tried it without adding an extra bowl on the top, but i like the way it works like this.
I do think that it was designed to be used solo, but i like having a second screen to catch the dust that goes through the first one. It also keeps it cleaner and makes loading/unloading much easier.

Here is a picture after a week of intensive daily use, as you can see it stays pretty clean.

The only thing i don't like about it is that it smells a lot stronger than a bong does.
A bong isn't the nicest smelling thing, but it contains it's own smell much better.
IMO a bong can be used a week without clean and it won't smell too strong unless you put your face right on it.
This pipe on the other hand can be smelled from anywhere in the room after a few days use.

Overall, this is really a nice addition to the collection, and i will definitely keep using it. I actually like it a lot and haven't felt the need to use a bong since i got it. I mentioned the interest it got here to Sebastien and hopefully he puts it back on the website soon!
The Ti was my favourite wet vape, it is now also my favourite dry vape.

Hey guyz,

Nice Steamroller @Carlos8400, looks like an Idian Peace pipe, or in contrast to a policeman's truncheon.. who gives you a blow to the head, but the one we are really lookin' for..

But when I see how fast EQ's dome screens fill up, this does not make me want to do it totally dry (no homo),
I have to change them almost every 2-3 days so they get clogged (thanks to the one who found this tip).
Otherwise I make a pre-heat on 8, then I aspire empty, and I still make a big cloud of residue.

I wanted to send an email to Sebastien regarding the injector stand (wich looks gorgeous !!), but then I thought I was going to make one by myself, using the
EQ Glass Aromatherapy Dish (or anything else with 18mm female) and some cork.
I am waiting for cork laboratory stands, thanks to @ander for giving me the urge to try something with this material.

I wanted to send an email to Sebastien regarding the injector stand (wich looks gorgeous !!),
Where can I see the stand, please? I can't see anything in the Herborizer website...

My actual injector stand is an empty 36mm ammonitions from the WW2, I placed an inverted 18mm female combustion bowl(never used) into as well some weights to be sure it will stand up...

I love my Ti but it will see more use for the next winter.... too much things to do "à la belle saison" to be able to use it more than once a week.. and I don't know for you but the hotter the weather is the less I want to be medicated.. strange, isn't it?
