But on other news, we had a good rain, and our shop decided it wanted to become a wetland.

Oh NO, What a pain! Hope it wasn't too damaging.

Looking forward to seeing what you've got in that lathe! Looks small. . . and I imagine it's not a new tip generation. . .

The day I got my Ti-Woody was the day I finally stopped smoking (properly, actually, 100% stopped) :)

Greetings!

Many fun, and not so fun events over the past few weeks.
Went hiking with my boy, and found this.

IMG_20170608_205811026_zpshso3j1hz.jpg

I wasn't sure, if it was a lightning bug larva, so we took it home and it matured over the next few days.
Here is the finished product. :)

But on other news, we had a good rain, and our shop decided it wanted to become a wetland. Not fun, but it did force us to get organized.

And here are a few new videos.

Last, there is something I am really excited to share coming very soon.

More info as soon as it is ready. Hopefully only a few more days.

Cheers,

George

Sorry to hear about the flooding, that sucks. Hope it sorts itself out.

So I want a "Respect the click!" hoodie, it would be perfect.

Excited to see what you've come up with next, it looks like a blurry new tip, is the image blurry due to Vapcap usage? :p

Ok so I finally got the time to try out my vapcap M. And it's true it just works! I did a couple of dry runs to learn the click. Using a single flame torch lighter the first hit was all flavour. Waited for the cool down click, heated again and the amount of vapour I was sure I burnt the material. NOPE! It was a nice light golden brown. George you are the Steve Jobs of the vaping world.

I've completed my DIYnaStash, thanks to a wonderful piece of ash tree wood and the straight cuts of a professional circular saw (not operated by me... I still need my fingers for other purposes). It came out pretty nice and functional, so here it is!

on the left the "M" and my Corky XL stem

on the right the sealed herbs compartment. I'm waiting for some glass vials of diameter 16 and I plan to place one of them inside it.

I dreamed this thing for so long! :D

Hi folks, so I have the OG vapcap, and I have to say I don't really like the flavour from it much (I'm comparing to the Grasshopper, my primary vape). Is it different with a Ti or Omni vapcap? Or do you think my technique could be off? I'm heating around the middle of the cap, rotating, with a single-flame lighter, and get reasonable size hits, but the flavour is quite harsh, almost smokey (ABV is dark, but definitely not combusting).

...yep ...you just need the magnet..
I have it, I have it... but the insertion of the Mag can be a quite delicate operation... for now I like the clean design...
And maybe soften the corners a tad for pocket comfort. :ugh:
...and I like those hard corners... but I have two more pieces to drill and assembly so..;)

Never used a Grasshopper but with the VapCap (and with vapes in general, no?) it's a matter of taste. For me VapCap vapor is strong, pretty warm, tasty and concentrated... hits me on the throath, and that's exactly what I'm looking for. My AVB is sometimes pretty dark, sometimes less dark, more yellowish... in the last case I eat it straight! Anyway the "M" (and so the Ti I presume) has superior performance IMO, but the taste... not very different.

Hello guys, I summarize in few photos my holiday days and how well my vapcap M works with my favorite hobbie, although at night I prefer to use vapes without flame for the day Vapcap M is the king for me... Helping me while I'm waiting to the wind !! :sherlock:

Do you clean it regularly ? I have a TI tip vapcap and if I keep it clean , the flavor is great . But if I let reclaim build it gets harsher and the flavor goes . I clean once maybe twice a week and have it down to less than five minutes . ISO , pipe cleaners , hot water , and soap . Quick and easy . I get most of the water out with a fresh pipe cleaner and a blow dryer takes care of the rest . Great flavor again .....
Edit : call me crazy , but I think using my @Pipes induction heater help the flavor and makes it last a bit longer than using a torch .

Try a triple torch. Somewhat counterintuitively the hotter the torch the cooler the vape as the cap reaches click temp more quickly before the vaporizables heat all the way through. I use a triple torch for flower & a double or single for hash loads. Combusted my first few flower loads while using a single jet torch. YMMV

Anyone have tips & tricks for cleaning the cap? Mine have gotten a bit of that burnt popcorn taste & a q-tip & ISO haven't quite cleared it up. All the other parts are like new after an ISO soak.

@Pipes induction heater arrived at work today!

As soon as I got home, I plugged it in. Boy, this thing heats my 'M' quickly. First click took maybe 5 seconds. The second and third, even less. In fact, I was so impressed by how quickly and effortlessly it heated my Vapcap, within a few minutes I was 5-6 cycles in and quite medicated.

I made some PB&J sandwiches, and within an hour was asleep for a two hour nap.

10/10, would recommend.
