@narrowsparrow Is yours a new Air? Direct from Arizer? If not, from where?

Some less-than-fine Air stem fits have been reported. I'd guess that the Air has a niche, but I'd also guess that it's a tenuous one these days due to its relatively long warm up time. Add extra-ordinary restriction to the draw (due to stems fitting too tightly into the chamber) and performance and appeal both take a hit. It shouldn't be difficult for the user to get the thing to operate well. Remediation shouldn't be required. This is hopefully on the radar of someone at Arizer.

Hey hey and good afternoon everyone, just popping in for a quick post, got that large shipment of glass in and have a bunch of Arizer glass back in stock and some new stuff to come!

Oh how about concentrate pads for my wood Arizer stems, RRRRR!

How soon will your website updated? Those of us outside the USA want to order Monday or Tuesday for free postage.

Is there any way you can list the length of the stems? That way folks will have a better understanding.

You might even want to show the stems next a known item (Solo, Air or Solo 2) for scale.

Thanks

Everything in stock has been updated and that's a good idea I will try to get that done as soon as I am able, thanks for the interest and mention.

If you are already calling your web "guy" it may be useful to add the option of being notified automatically when an item appears back in stock.

The Cool Booster XXL that @CarolKing mentioned has caught my eye, but it is still out of stock.

Hi folks, its a long time since i post here (still viewing from time to time of course)

My Air has died, luckily before my warranty was off (in 2 month, my air went 2 years old)
and i dont know if anyone has the same problem:

First to say ive tested this with 2 batteries, my air heats up and dont get warm and after a couple of seconds it shut down, with a full charged battery and half charged.
Now i have contacted my re-seller and they say to me that i have to send it back..

I love the air but this is a bit curious because i have think the air is really durable and work for more than 2 years.
I have the 2014 version (says the sticker at the bottom) and now i have to deal with this -> http://fuckcombustion.com/threads/diy-pipe-vape.24709/
to bridge the waiting time (i dont have send it in but i will do in 1-2 days)

Just want to know if anyone have the same issue (dont blame me to hard because i dont have use the search function :p)

Best Regards

I had an air that would do the same thing. Would turn on and warm up but shut off. I sent it back and got a replacement but maybe try tapping the bottom on a hard table.

Thanks for the answer:)
Ill allready send it to my local shop, they´re partner with arizer:) and i hope they get me a replacement
but why tapping hard on a table? i dont want to do more damage :D

Anyway, can anyone say me what is with my warranty after a replacement? when my air get broken in 3 month and i do not have warranty, iam on the dark side? :( or do the warranty refresh? (sure i dont think so, but i think the replacement was a new device.)

Greetings from the Land of the Krauts ;)

Sometimes tapping it on something just fixes things haha. I don't know about the warranty but I'm curious as well.

The whack it on the end of a table approach is not recommended. Sometimes it will temperately connect a dry(bad)joint but will fail again. Same goes for the battery connection however this can and should be cleaned and visually checked.

yay ! It's been a great three years of FC , and a great 3 years of Solo/Air ownership !
Happy customer of an Arizer Air here, been about 2 years now.
Circuit board friend on the 1st one after 1.5 years of heavy use. No other problems.
Randy at PIU (puffitup.com) replaced it quickly with a brand new unit !
Vaping away now on my 2nd air and loving it.
Love the thread. You guys have helped me out. Also yeah those domed screens are awesome.
Keep it up, and to all the new-comers, I highly recommend you go back thru this thread and glean much information. My other recommendation is to get an Arizer Air !!
PEACE

i think they added it to the air, iam really happy now :)

p.s.: i hope its ok to post the img from extreme-vaporizer.de because i sadly don´t own a solo 2 :)

pps: iam interested what arizer say to this (hope we get a statement to the airflow differences), i will post it here when i get mail from them.

Such is the problem with asking other guys for subjective 'information' like that. Many of us are happy with the original restriction, seldom if ever fighting it, while others want less restriction often in the mistaken idea that that's the only route to 'bigger clouds'.

So 'is the restriction OK?' depends very much on who you ask.....IMO perhaps more than the changes in manufacture? One thing sure, the restriction in this new bowl design should be lower, whether that makes a difference to any given owner depends on that owner?

i have ask arizer about differences and they reply me really fast today:) :

"Hi Christian,

Thank you for your email.

Yes, the different heater bowl in your new unit is a change we recently made to the Arizer Air.

The change is mostly design / aesthetic, but does also serve to slightly improve airflow / reduce draw resistance.

If you have any further questions please feel free to ask.

Question, just got my arizer air and im wondering how do you guys store the glass tips in between use if you dont fully vape the herb.

I would like to take 3-4 rips and then not use it until 1-2 days later. Is it safe to take the glass tip with packed herb and store in a Ziploc bag? Im worried it might get moldy or waste the herb.

Tnx.

I cap 'em to keep the ABV in along with the smells:

Arizer has started selling appropriate caps (be careful about temperature ratings.....), I got a pair with my new Solo II.

The caps I use are high temperature vinyl (500F for ten minutes?) and hard, so I cut them to half length with a razor blade. The other end is a normal (low temp) cap with some silicone tube for a gasket. A longer gasket is used for the all glass stems on that end. Both caps are 1/2 inch nominal size, the tube is 3/8 ID, 1/2OD. The caps come from McMaster Carr, the tube from US Plastics (although M/C no doubt has it as well).

This scheme lets me pull a hot stem, cap it and get it in my shirt pocket faster than it takes to read about.
