glass noob buying first glass piece

I am looking for my first glass piece to use with an underdog. @Stevenski has given me some awesome advice and pointed my in the direction of dhgate.

I have been looking at styles at an Australian site because dhgate is overwhelming atm and will look more closely there when I know what i am looking for.

Anyway I have found a selection of glass and I was wondering if anyone has an opinion what would be a good sort of piece to start with out of these few and then I sorta will know what I am looking for on dhgate

The only issue is that every one you listed is a 14.5mm male joint except this one & the Zenit one that are both 14.5mm female joints.

If you did want to get a male jointed piece you will need an adaptor (order two so you have a spare when you inevitably break one) 14.5-18.8mm adapter so it fits your stem.

If I was you I would get the Zenit one with this adapter & ask Beefys if they have any 18-18 stems this style in the right length to fit the bubbler (or 18/14 stems & use the adapter). Then you will have a 14.5mm female jointed stem for your GonG & a 18.8mm stems for your NonG. With a removable stem it will be much easier to clean & is quality German made glass opposed to Chinese mass produced product like Grace.

Don't waste your money on that shit from aussievapez. You can pick them up for well under $20 on DH Gate & I have one. It is not great for use with the UD either, more a shits & giggles kind of deal.

One more thing. Use OZBEWGZ in the discount field to get a 15% discount from Beefys!

PS, has your UD shipped yet? If not you can change your NonGs to 14.5mm.
