I hate to flood it here, but looking to pick up 4 new batteries. Maybe even 6. A handful of mine have cracks on the wrapping and i don't want to risk it.

Any suggestions for best batteries and where to purchase them? Thanks.

No worries man!

EDIT: POSTED WRONG BATTERY FIRST TIME http://www.illumn.com/batteries-cha...8650vtc5-2600mah-high-discharge-flat-top.html
These are the most powerful I've tried.

http://www.illumn.com/batteries-cha...-18650g2-3000mah-high-discharge-flat-top.html These are the highest capacity I've used. still great power.

I prefer those 2 over the lghe4 (yellow) and Samsung 25r (green).

Can @KeroZen verify these vtc5 are right ...? The message at the bottom about prototype use only or something scared me into thinking these aren't what I got ...

If your batteries still work ok then buy replacement plastic from your battery store.

These things are added free to imrbatteries orders. You can buy in multiple colors for about 10 for $1.

VTC5 and HG2 are my favorites as well

We've talked about the indestructable Mi a lot before actually.

SS would require a complete redesign of the heater since the current heater would short out on the sides at worst or at best the SS would become part of the heater. Either way it requires a significant redesign. By the end it wouldn't be the Mi anymore.

I personally don't see ceramic as a better alternative to glass.

I do recommend a good wooden stem though. My short wood stem @Alan made is still my daily driver and the Mi and stem have survived a few drops from the desk to the hardwood.

Right on ZC.
I replaced the female glass in my first Milaana after a drop with it's glass mouthpiece inserted.
It was not a big deal but would be a pain for someone without some skill in this type of thing. I used a very small amount of glue to hold it this time. Next time if I have to change it, it would be a 20 minute job.
Later if I goes into full on production an easily replaceable female joint could also be incorporated.
I also suggested a while ago a ceramic female joint that would be stronger than the glass. Right forget SS it would change the taste and heat signature.
At that time people said to me; well just don't drop it. Hey folks you do remember what type of device this is right?? :brow:
Yes the problem is if you drop it with the glass mouthpiece inserted, it will break the female part.
The solution is to only use a wood mouthpiece from Allen or make your own if able.
Between the thin glass tube inserted in his wood mouthpieces and the wood, there is not enough pressure to break the female in a normal fall. The mouthpiece parts will break first. I also think the wood is more compatible with the Milaana.
So the choice is having a ceramic female piece made special, in the future, and or just use a wood mouthpiece.
I got about 10 glass mouthpieces I don't know what to do with now :) I guess they are now glass chillums.
:2c: ymmv.

I've been exclusively using my Milaana for a little shy of 4 mos., over 7 other excellent vapes plus the Herbie. A tiny amt.can crush you. It's wide open vapor path and unregulated power has everything to do with it . RBT has made the" KISS Principle "come to life in wood, glass & copper and I & many others thank you for
for your talent and imagination .

My current favorite is the Samsung 30Q. But both the Sony VTC5 and VTC6 have more initial oomph. The VTC6 is pricier than the 30Q and will lose capacity faster (according to manufacturer own specs)

For the source apparently on your side of the pond either imrbatteries.com or ilumn.com as others promptly answered.

Yes Sony is a pain, they don't want to be involved with vaping. They restricted their clients to OEMs and battery pack manufacturers (ex: power tools, electric vehicles etc.) as they don't want their name to be associated with any accident (hence the requirement to use only in battery packs with a proper BMS)

Their cells are harder to get and pricier overall, probably the most counterfeit also. But yours are legit. When that seller got bad batches in the past (ex: LG HG2 last year) they immediately told their customers and didn't try to cover up the story, I think they can be trusted.

I personally don't see ceramic as a better alternative to glass.

I know we already had this discussion previously but I don't recall what the arguments "against" were?

I also recommend IMRBatteries.com.

I was on the phone with their rep a few months back when I had a friend in NYC for a couple of days. I called them to make sure that with express shipping the order would arrive in time. Their representative told me to just use their free shipping and save the $20-$30 for expedited.

They could have easily gotten me to pay for postage, but they were too honest.

Actually is there really something like too honest?

Joint size is 18mm right?
Looking for a M2M WPA

Yep, native is 18mm. Of course, a reducer to 14mm can also be used.

Some like this better (I do sometimes, but not even half the time) and mates well with mods sold by @DDave . Check out his website for more info about them.

EDIT: DOH!! Thanks for following up with the length of GonG issue @Shit Snacks . Don't know how I forgot that!

I haven't had time to report yet in the 3 weeks since I've had my Mi, been too busy hitting the thing! AHAHA AT LAST :science:

I don't know if another review would be wanted, again it just checks with all the previous reports, unmatched flavor, great battery life (I counted 6 sessions out of one brand new LG H2 battery from RBT, load was medium-fine, screen basket style, just deep enough into stem to hold screen).

...My story was a horror one, so far the first official (and hopefully the very last) Mi to get officially lost in the mail! :zombie:
It was shipped along all preorders but local post services messed it up, since Customs didn't give notice, and it took FUCKING AGES to get back to the US. By then Ryan was doing something else (Zion) and no longer had time to make new ones so, as I mentioned in more detail the Zion thread, Ryan made it up royally with a few extras, and an upgrade to TWO Milaanas: from a basic OG model and a TOD.
The OG model is on his IG btw, went to Ryan's Vape Museum, I hated letting that poor battered fella go, so it was sent to 'vape heaven'...

I introduced it to three other friends, one was gifted a cherry Mi with green joint as a birthday present (he was over the moon, best gift I have made in a very longtime and it felt almost better than owning 2 Mis, such a nice feeling! I felt bad to get 2 vapes when he had lost his hopper a while ago too :ugh: Its so nice to make people happy once in a while isn't it?).
The other two saw it yesterday at my dispensary, and loved it at first hit! One is a combuster, and wasn't too impressed by the Hopper ('its hard to get your lips round this cigar! And hot! Meh.') but when he hit the Mi said right away: 'that is what I'm after! How can I get one of these? Oh man the flavor!'
None of them needed much explaining, they just held for 5 seconds and hit when the heat came apparent. Even another friend of theirs passing by tried a sneaky hit and was blown away as well.

Now I'm the happiest Mi owner in the world!

Off to get some accessories and more batteries, and oh! Some stems yes... Somebody said fanny pack? :lmao:
