Funny I never did it again. I need to give that another go, especially since lately I've been getting a little tired of the fuckin' deep-breathing-and-hold-it ritual I've had going on. Thanks for renewing my interest in this!

That's pretty fuckin' long! Why you doing that? If it's to pass around, just make the people move. They wanna get high or not? 9 feet is triple the standard length, I think. You may lose some to condensation, but it would probably be even cooler.

Arizer had an option to buy a longer tubing. It's just sometimes when I am home and watching TV in my room it's nice to just lay in my bed vaping. My lady is next to me so it was always a pain in the ass when I had my Vapor Bros. I will try it out and let you know.

Heya everyone!

This is my virgin post after being mentally raped by reading all 45 pages of this. So much info, I don't know what to do with myself. lol. I figured, vaping would be the best prescription.

I bought my extreme last week and can't complain at all. This is the first vap I've ever owned and ever used. I'm trying to figure out if I'm conserving herb or not. I've figured that at .2 gets 2 great bags and third is pretty good fourth, is meh. I don't know if this is wrong or not, but when I'm blowing bags, I blow them on #1 fan setting instead of #3. I find the bags more fulfilling this way. Is there a reason why you're suppose to use it on #3?

I've been weighing my herb before and after and I've have consistently noticed that the duff weighs half of what it is fresh.

The whip is pretty cool. My method for using this is I start it on #1 fan to get it going, suck with it on for about 3 seconds then turn it off and finish with a nice slow, long haul.

I can't wait to clean this thing and get some honey out of it. What else can I say.....oh, I'm all over the place for temps. 195-220 for the first two bags, depending on how thick I want the smoke. Then 230-240 for the last couple bags. I'm smoking my own grow, high quality and cured. My .2 fills up half of the bowl to the black coating.

This is a great site with lots of great information. Thanks! Now that I've completed reading all this, I can continue on to the rest of the forum to see what is going on.

.2 gets me one amazing 3.5' bag then a decent 2nd one at 200-210
and after the first one i get super stoned and ive been hittin it ievery day for over 6 months

He dude welcome to FC. Wow man your stuff is really cured to bone dry I guess. I have pretty dry stuff and have been using my I-inhale to measure out the bud going in. The I-inhale takes about .5 grams. I usually fill it past the top of the I-inhale herb chamber and use that in the extreme. It's only up to about 1/4 up on the side of the cyclone bowl to the black area. I need to get a new scale so I have been able to weigh it out. I wonder how much my stuff weighs going in, but it cannot be that much since it's pretty dry, but with lots of crystals.

I pretty much fill one nice thick bag on fan #1 on 200c. This has been working well for me as the 1 bag blows me and my lady away for a very long time. The duff is being tossed into 190 everclear to use as green dragon.

There is no wrong. The instructions included with the E as well as our sticky on this forum are meant as starting points to get you going quickly. One of the great things about the E is there are so many variables that you can play with it for a long time.

I know others have enjoyed it, but my first and only experience with vaping the oil was disappointing. Tons of vapor, little effect. Hopefully your experience will be better than mine with the oil.

Got me some more reading to do. I had an awakening tonight. My wife and I had to go out tonight so we decided to bring the pipe with us to have a smoke while we're out. She has smoked out of the bong one or two times since we've had the E, but not the pipe.

Well I had two hauls off the thing and never touched it afterwords. That was some of the worst ass I've tasted.lol. The taste of the smoke and the after taste in my mouth was horrendous. I can honestly say I will NEVER smoke out of a pipe again. I'm not ready to try out the bong again yet - I just put a diffuser in it as well.

The E has changed my life forever! This site was the key to my purchase. Thanks again everyone. I can't wait to make some budder with the abv!

right on, fighter! Go get yourself a VaporGenie. $50 to $60 bucks, works like a champ once you get the technique. I love mine and use it when going out...used it yesterday at the mall!

Or if you got a little more money you can get an I-Inhale. Works great and there is not as big a learning curve IMO. Just fill with butane, turn on, light piezo and wait 90 seconds to begin inhaling. PLus it's very stealthy. Looks like a Walkie talky.

Worst investment someone could ever make, should never be sold to anyone, Melting Plastic is not what a vaporizer should do , if it dont got glass, it dont pass.

Metal bowl/Plastic makes up like 70% of the whole thing/Mouthpiece WILL AND DOES Melt into the herb chamber.

And butane for a vaporizer? Not considered a vape to me,, that things just an accident waiting to happen

Sorry to hear that galenr55. Sounds like you either got one with the old stems which does get soft over a bit of time and break, but it should not melt. If yours really melted it sounded like you got a defective one. Galen, vaporizers can break from time to time. I have read on this post people having issues with the extreme right in the begining of using it. Luckily Arizer has great customer service from what I have read. I can also say the same for the people at I-Inhale. If you would have gotten in touch with them I am sure they would have rectified the situation and got you a brand spanking new one. You should not try to knock something right out without checking out about it. I have seen far more positive reviews than negative on the II so I don't see a reason not to recommend it. Only time will tell if my little investment lasts, but yeah bro the Extreme is killer, but you cannot compare the I-inhale to it. Two different beasts entirely.

Great tip here from Steve at Arizer. Here's what he wrote:

I understand some people like thicker/more concentrated hits, something that can be achieved by 'packing the bowl'. The younger crowd and bong users often like a thicker/more concentrated (and smokey) hit.

That can be easily achieved with the Extreme and V-Tower, it's probably something I should of mentioned before, because the method I'm about to describe is very popular in some circles and extremely popular with those who collect 'pollen' in their (Wicca) Kif Box.

Instead of filling the bowl as you normally would, leave it empty, turn the heat up a few degrees higher than normal, finely grind your herbs, (or use 'pollen powder' from a kif box) and then fill/pack the (dome shaped) screen that sits in the elbow shaped glass piece. You'll be surprised how much you can pack in there, now set the elbow on the bowl as you normally would, let it 'sit and percolate' a few minutes and inhale, that will give you a VERY thick, concentrated, monster size hit . If you're using Pollen from a Wicca Box you're getting a super tasty, super concentrated amount of the finest part of the plant so you can imagine the effect! Blowing balloons with the screen packed is my preference, as the concentrated/thick vapor can be harsh; the balloon helps greatly with that giving the air time to cool.

I tried this out earlier tonight and got rocked! The first hit was super thick, the second was thick, then the third and fourth were about done. I didn't pack the screen all the way full, but left a little concave at the top. Afterward I emptied the cap into the bowl and it looked to be about half of what I normally use in the bowl. This may be the thickest AND most efficiently I've used the Extreme!

) I have once coated a dome screen in a thin layer of oil, placed it on top of the heating element, and put the cyclone bowl on top to keep it in place (worked well, but too much work). Creativity precipitates innovation. Thank you stickstones, and (if Ur reading this) thank you Steve!

Dude Thank you so much for this tip. I just tried it with my lady and we are both impressed. Not only that, but we used much less bud than what we normally use. Efficiency seems to scream out of this device now. I am truly serious. The hits were thick and tasty as hell. Not sure on the right temp yet. Since I went a little too high since it got way more brown than I am used to. Thank you so much stickstones.

aside from this way of packing the turbo bowl; i have found that when traditionally packing the turbo (placing herbs on the flat screen in the middle) and turning fan 1 on to get my vapor, the bud starts residing on the sides of the screen that don't come into contact with the heating element. i was wondering if there was any way i could put some sort of glass weight or something directly onto the bud that is on the bottom screen to make sure that it is in constant contact with the heating element. any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. now time to go vape with my extreme with the dome screen off my elbow because i left my screen at school in a cup of alchohol for honey extraction. :uhoh:
