I think where the Nano shines is the flavor. The water takes away from the flavor IMO. I do use water occasionally to get to those higher temperatures. Most of the time I use the regular stem with the adjustable screen or a J hook using my 18mm GonG from Epicvape.

It's nice to see all these new nano owners.

I've really only noticed blowback with my D020-D, it could have something to do with the design of the bubbler itself. If you pull the GonG while clearing your hit you won't have any blowback. Technically speaking, you can pull the E-Nano first, and then pull the GonG while clearing, as long as it's out of there before you stop clearing you won't have blowback issues.

Like @flotntoke said, it is very easy to pull both the GonG and nano one-handed with a little practice.

My Joda gong was $50. All three of my pieces lasted a month or so. And I am easy on glass.
They look great, but are very fragile. Something to consider. Money could have been better spent elsewhere IMO. I have never broke an epic stem or gong in three years. Your mileage may very........

I find a lot of it depends on the bubbler and the technique. Dry always gives at least a little more flavor - especially at those lower temps, but you don't have to give up too much.

Go with a bubbler with less diffusion. Less bubbles = more better. Draw slow and smooth until you fill your bubbler's can, then clear as hard and fast as you like because the flavor degradation part is over. If you do it right, it's hard to even tell the difference in flavor from a j-hook or stem, though your vapor will be moister and cooler.

For a real flavor treat, turn your nano down 1/2 dial setting from where you usually have it. You can even put just a little water in your j-hook. It doesn't have to bubble, and flavor will be better if it doesn't. You just want a little puddle in there to add a little bit of moisture that the warm vapor will pick up as it passes over it. BUT BE CAREFUL!!! If you tip your j-hook forward you'll swamp the load or worse!

I do this (usually without the puddle) with every new strain I get to get a good feel for flavor and light effects. Also often do it mid day if I have shit to do around the house. Makes the chores go by much more easily. :nod:

Be aware that you're leaving more actives in your ABV. If your stash is low, save this for later and vape a little higher temp than you normally do. This should create a little more couch lock than usual and help with sleep. When I do this I usually mix about 1/3 half vaped to 2/3 fresh, or 1/2 & 1/2 depending on strain and mood, and fill my loads a little deeper. Crank my dial up to 7 (usually around 6.25), throw the nano on a bubbler and sit back with some cheesey TV or good tunes. These are also the times I tend to use the FC UFO with the mouth whip on it and a carbed GonG. Cover the carb, hit it deep and release for clear. Continue leisurely until it needs a stir or reload. Do whichever and repeat until so stoned it becomes difficult to manage. Not a bad way to spend an evening, just stay away from the kitchen or your cupboards will be mysteriously bare in the morning. ;)

Or, if stash is plentiful and you're not a cheap ass like me, just dump. It will make your ABV goodies (butter, ISO goo, creams, whatever) that much better.

Oh by the way @ataxian, did you ever consider having epicvape make you a custom nano made from Pink Ivory? I just saw your Base, and remembered a Post of yours that showed your Pink Extreme-Q hehe.
Not sure how truly Pink it is though ;)

Have only had the chance to play with high CBD a few times, and they were all concentrates. I wish we had that around here!! Not much of a buzz at all, but for aches and pains it beats the hell out of aspirin or Tylenol!

I've been enjoying my Nano so much I never got around to posting my impressions after it arrived.

I adore his thing! When I took my first hit I could not believe the taste!!! I have never had a vape that tasted this good. I've used the MFLB, the SSV, and the Air, and the taste of this thing is on another level altogether.

It also hits really hard!! (Much harder than the Air, which is the other vape I have in use and which I also like.) But by using lower temps you can get flavor that's beyond belief!

I'm using the Nano dry, but I plan to add a WT down the road a bit. I use it horizontally to avoid the herb dropping on to the heater.

ONE TIP: I recommend grinding if you're not already. I find the draw much smoother and less restricted with ground herb and I get much bigger hits. YMMV

The effects of my current session are really settling in now, making me less motivated to write a long post, so I'll leave it there, with some final bullet points:

- It's tiny!!!
- love not having to remember to charge battteries, as much as I enjoy the portability of my Air
- beautifully made, lovely finish on the wood and very solidly constructed
- like the long power cord
- incredibly simple to use and maintain
- quick learning curve for those who have vaped for a while, maybe longer for those new to vaping
- just a lot of fun to use for some reason
- dd I mention the flavor?!!!!

Well done, EpicVape--a wonderful product!!! I can see myself buying a second one at some point, mainly because I'd love to have an exotic!

I think I could get used to it. I feel like what I'm looking for is there, effect wise. It's legal here too (for now at least :S ) so I don't feel like I have to hide something. The law only focuses on THC Content, it's basically industrial Hemp, but with a higher CBD content (One with 5% and one with 6-7%, but they'll be releasing one soon with 9%. Getting there ;) )

The other day my SO and I both bought some and where looking at it and handling it, and she said "Wow it's just like..I mean it is Weed!" haha. I felt like Shawshank Redemption - the world got itself in a damn hurry. This must be what it felt like in CO/WA.
I hope it takes off. The stupid thing is, the shops employees legally are not allowed to give any advice on how to consume their products, so they always say "not for consumption", which is silly. They advertise the Buds for smelling purposes only. :cool:
I will have to talk to my lawyer about what we can do to move things forward towards decriminalization, medical use and legalization.

Sorry for getting off topic. On a more related, positive note my nano has already departed from Los Angeles :)

I bought some CBD dabs online from UK to Sweden without worry because all inside the legal frame off EU narcotic policy with the products made from legal hemp and THC content under 0.5%

I was nearly hoping for it to be taken by custom so I could go to the the police and tell them "GIVE ME BACK MY DAMN LEGAL DRUGS!!"

The drug laws are so fucking oxymoron because they support organised crime and fuel black markets while the police plays "cops and robbers" that has as much effect as punching the wind to stop the storm

I think a lot of public (and legal) opinion is based on misrepresentation and bad information. The Shop I go to states that they want to make cannabis "socialised", to have everyday people smoke (or vape I would hope ;) ), and not just clichee "hippies and burnouts". It's a good way to start a conversation I guess.

They also say that if you do get stopped/troubled by the cops, you should tell them to confiscate the material, send it to the lab for testing, and then return it to you swiftly, as is your right ;)
