My 420 is at customs for over a week. I only received a single tracking message that my order arrived at the customs office. This is not normal, actually you get several messages from the customs, even if it is longer there.
So I have experienced this once, and the package has never arrived at my home.

It is always stupid to wait so long. I always feel that the customs do not want me to order abroad.

Anyway, please keep your fingers crossed that the package arrive at me.

No Way! In that case I obviously need to go back to school. And probably apologise for a previous post i made. Well thanks for doing the hard work and buying/trying out magnets. . .

Can I just check one thing? The Diametric magnets you have bought that work well. . do they stick together edge to edge in a row like in this picture?

Cheers
Me too . I totally thought it was the other way around . I guess the opposite poles push the cap to the center .
The "other" coffee

It's morning , I think I could use some of that coffee :D
So I got adventurous today and decided to heat anodize the Ti tip on my old Woody. Thanks for the idea, @stardustsailor. :) I think it turned out pretty decent. Here's a pic next to my other, newer Ti tip for comparison:

The inside of the bowl is a sweet blue-violet color. It's really hard to get a nice picture, looks awesome in person though:

I also cleaned up the cap, the discoloration that had built up came off real easy with the rough side of a scotch-brite scrub sponge and a drop of water. Light, gentle pressure is all that's needed. It scratched the cap slightly but no big deal, next time I'll use real metal polish or something.

I'm happy with my work. With the colorful tip and the cleaner cap it's almost like having a new VapCap. Almost. :spliff:

Keep on cappin' on!

:peace:
Looks awesome !!!
I'm sending out some good vibes for @Kermitt and @Ricardo . I hope your packages arrive soon !!!
@MinnBobber maybe try waxing/lubing tha o-rings that come in contact with the mouthpiece . This is just a guess as I haven't encountered this problem before.

I experimented with some copper this morning and I'm loving how it turned out. It's much easier to work with over the bronze I was using before. I think pairing the copper with maple and cherry was the right choice as they all have similar tones; the black walnut was added for contrast.

Again, I'm super pleased with the result and had to share.

last night was using my omni and after a while of chilling, I go to grab it and notice the cap is missing.

I empty my pockets...no cap.
I look in the grass with a flash light...no cap
I get home empty pockets, check again...no cap
wake up this morning, come to terms my shit may be gone.
go back to my friends yard to search in the daylight...no cap.

go to bank to a make deposit, my friend (different friend btw) points at something on the floor by my foot...its the fucking CAP...i don't know how the universe worked that one out, but I was happy it did!

I was devastated at the thought of an incomplete VC
I'll make sure I throw it back in the tube faithfully now.

the diametric disc magnets i bought from K&J (https://www.kjmagnetics.com/proddetail.asp?prod=D82DIA) do not pull the cap off of my M, YMMV. i personally do not think they're strong enough. if you mount it in something "dynastash style".. then it will hold up your vapcap vertically just fine.

Those magnets are only 3lbs of pull force, something with 10lbs of pull force should be more than enough to pull the cap off. Like this one https://www.kjmagnetics.com/proddetail.asp?prod=DC6DIA

I will order those and a cube.

Here is what I determined today through rigorous experimentation.
I put a Ti on my M the other day for use with my woodscents, I got this idea from @CarolKing because if she swore by it then you know it must be good right?
It didn't fit real well though but I swore I read something here (I don't recall from whom) suggesting removing the o-ring closest to the tip, so I did that and it worked a charm (an expression I picked up somewhere on here!) Fit nice and snug. So I liked it enough that I figure I'll just leave it.

So then today I'm thinking, well what should I do with the tip from from the M?
Lo and behold it's a perfect fit for my teak @phattpiggie stem, so now its got a permanent home and thats a good pairing.

I like that you can kind of swap things around and then two pieces just seem to fit and belong together.

I have some questions:
-Is this(pictures) a good way to load the flowers without losing the cup?
-Is it normal to always hear two clicks when the cup is down temperature?
-no one else touches the ¨flauta¨ with the vapcap? I do not remember anyone mentioning it! (Playing the flute for me is to cover the carburetor hole occasionally or intermittently )
- is there any video, other than the glass vapcap, of how to clean the vapcap?
Forgive if any questions were already discussed!
thanksss

If I recall, there are omni XLs in the wild. I'm patiently awaiting their release, but my question is simple can anyone confirm if the XL model can dangle in ur mouth like the regular omni can?

I wonder if I'll ever stop....dynaVAS is real.

P.s. I see new stash's...

The cap was in the floor at the bank. I would say it fell off my clothes, but I was wearing something different...AND I checked for it thoroughly last night and this morning

...but there it was on the rug at the bank.

- Good holding spot for the cap, until you pack some real good shit like Doc had then you cant find it there. :whoa:
- I get two clicks on the heat up, 2 on the cool down. The first is a faint click followed by the second click, The distance between the two varies depending on which lighter I'm using and how fast or slow I'm trying to heat up.
- Every guy/girl here touches their flauta, its only natural and nothing to be ashamed of. :brow:

-Looks like a great way to keep up with the cap , but what I do is pull off the cap , put the tip into my dynastash or doob tube and suck like a straw to load . 10 seconds later I'm putting the cap back on
-2 clicks is normal
-I keep the carb closed , but it's best to find what works for you . Different folks different strokes ...
- as for cleaning , with the m you could remove the o-rings and soak in ISO . You could also use ISO soaked qtips or pipe cleaners . Just make sure to rinse well with warm water and let dry .
Carbless.
And no condenser (yet).
