There have been 4 generations in the Ti Tip I believe. There are now more cooling fins, and more and deeper groves with each iteration.

I just stole this from a @phattpiggie post on page 570

My M is showing as delivered ( UK ) on the USPS website but i havent received it. I can only imagine that despite it saying delivered its being held locally so that i can pay some sort of tax and VAT on it. Did i read somewhere here that there were no charges to pay as DynaVap mark it as of low value?

Ill be annoyed if i have to pay extra as i may as well have ordered locally .

They used to be marked low value and as samples but my latest order arrived yesterday with charges to pay off £23

My tracking didn't update for about 5 days when it was being held and charges placed on the parcel

Doesn't sound good thou that it's stating delivered.maybe a sticky fingered postie

Mine arrived was just the M and 3 spare screens. Royail mail charge £8 handling fee , for chucking it ascross the Customs @ Heathrow airport..Also £3.88 V.A.T charge so it was £11.88 extra charge UK end for that ... I not to bothered as it means i just paid roughly what the M cost before discounts lol ... It hits ever so well, a few mates have seen it and now want one...

I hope soon to be able to tell you whether it is the idea of "aromatherapie sample" or even "candle holder" (as DHgate's glasses used to be called) that no longer works, or simply the English customs that develop a form of zeal because of the economic aspect of brexit.

It will have to be the order value declared on the outside of the parcel. It used to be $15. Obviously that approach has now been abandoned. We cant blame them of course, but I do wish I had known. I ordered for a group of poor friends. I told them there will be no customs charges.

And my order total was near to £300! I can expect £60-£70 charges on top, which I think I am going to have to pay myself.
So this revelation does not make me happy when I already forked out to buy my friends their M's until they have the money to pay me back! ;)

Do you put the gauze on top or below the ccd? I'm using an M

I place the first CCD screen in the bottom of the chamber. Then I fashion a degummed hemp fiber filter in a disc shape (instructions linked below in my signature). The second CCD screen is carefully pushed into the chamber. I like to place my screens slightly spaced away from each other so that they allow the filter to float. If you push too far you will squish the filter and it may create a slightly tighter air restriction than if it floats between the screens.

Before I started using the screen sandwich approach, I was just placing the hemp filter on top of the screen, herb on top of that. It works fine this way but your ABV with get tangled with the filter, so dumping out the ABV is slightly less convenient than a sandwich approach.

I highly recommend filter sandwiches for smoother cooler non irritating vapor and for a very clean condenser that only requires occasional cleaning.

I just got a virtual one hit extraction with my Omnivap into the VonG through the D020-D bubbler. It was a full bowl pack.
I used a single torch. I heated in a ring about 30% up from the bottom of the cap. I moved up slightly when the click didnt seem to be coming.
I also have the Omnivap airflow very open, about 75-80% (mouthpiece screwed clockwise).

Airflow is WIDE open. No restriction at all! Effortless and a pleasure. And the bubbler was completely whitewalled for the entire long draw, click to click. Even with the air flowing through faster, it was still pure milk.

The second cycle yielded only a tiny bit of vapor, only lightly visible for the first 7 seconds of the draw. Virtually a one hit extraction. It was still smooth as well.
And I had the airflow very open. Dead easy draw, and dense, but smoother vapor. Extraction as fast as can be without going even close to combustion.

I was aiming for 3 even cycles. I need to aim the single at the middle from the start. I dont realy try to zig it up and down. It is awkward enough for me. I think if you stick to the middle of the cap, you can get very even extraction from the bowl.

More practise now, looking for a consistent even 3 cycle extraction! My jarhead is still in slow boat transit since 5 weeks +. That should make the vapcap a much more replicable device I hope.
Have awsome weekends everybody! :)

EDIT- there is some restriction, but it is no problem at all. No worse than most vapes out there. And the Omnivap excells this way through water, with the open air.

Yes it is a contraption.:freak: Maybe a pic of a version two and a few other contraptions at some point.
But if you want to beat me to it. @Tekhie ;) I'll gladly share a few things to set you on a project. :science: check out my sig for the gooseneck hose link too when I modded my EQ. CF's 'Gooseneck' 2x silicone adapter hose / project.

Thank you very much for the detailed response. Down another rabbit hole i go!

Got 7/16, 3/8 and 1/2 OD tubing on hand. You might have v2 done by the time i get to it. Gotta finish a wood project first but i should get to it really soon. Might go pick up some different type of Jhooks, the one i have on hand is a 14mm female.

Thanks again for the information. Sharing is caring!

I sent them a message asking why nothing was said about the changes when placing the initial order.they have read the message but couldn't be bothered to respond.

@GreenHopper i bought some gauze from the brand you linked to on here the other day. Do you put the gauze on top or below the ccd? I'm using an M

I cut a small square, then round it of by sniping at the angles until it's disc shaped. Then I insert a CCD, lay the disc over the CCD and insert another CCD on top of it pushed all the way in so the SS mesh is sandwiched tightly between both CCD's.

I took a blank toke (both with and without cap) between inserting the first CCD, then first CCD and mesh and finally after the second CCD was inserted and couldn't detect any difference in draw resistance but I'm curious if you have a similar experience.

I TOTALLY missed this! So, I went back to find your post...

How do you like this approach? It looks like it would last far beyond the degummed hemp fiber filter, which only lasts a month.

Is the SS mesh keeping the condenser clean?

I'm going to see if this is available in Canada...

Sorry for causing any confusion...:ugh:

Edit: Everything that had been listed on Amazon.ca is no longer available. Too bad, so sad...

In truth, I think they would just ratewr avoid even discussing the subject now. And that is perfectly fair. I am really not bitter towards Dynavap. However it will be a major deterrent from me ordering directly from them again, or encouraging others to do so.

I will still try, but the extra fees will certainly deter many people.
But, fear not! European stockists are rising. In case anybody missed it, here is a link to a great new one.

They appear to be a terrific little team in outback France, sourcing all the best stuff they can and shipping globally, in between croissants and siesta that is!

I need to do more testing. I was worried it wasn't so went to clean the Omni the other day and was disappointed with the negligible amount of reclaim but I think thats because I only gave it 2 weeks worth of medium usage.

Apart from a few specs of material on the SS mesh there was little else on there.

I can't quite tell but I think the Hemp Fiber offers a slightly smoother hit but I get the feeling the SS mesh will be less effort to maintain. Just anecdotal observation only at the moment though so I'd love to see how @VanCough gets on with the method.

Everytime I check this thread a smile creeps on my face, great to see so many happy vapcappers.

I recieved my shipping notification today so hoping that it arrives in Ireland sometime next week. I really can't wait to try my new M now and give my Air a long overdue rest!

I bought one for my brother as well on the condition that he fucks combustion and kicks the tobacco/spliffs. I think the M could be the perfect device for making the switch. Wish him luck!

may i ask something? i wanted to buy a vapcap and i dont know which to buy the "m" or ti woody, what are the differences, is there any difference in experience and features? and if so could anybody elaborately ?
The 'm' is priced to be entry-level, and it's highly durable at the same time. It will give you the full vapcap experience, albeit the parts aren't totally compatible wit the rest of the vapcap's mix&match lego world. The material difference between ti & ss doesn't add up to that much of a difference in vaping performance.
