Discontinued Haze Dual V3

I can usually tell when the power in the battery is getting low when it takes a lot longer than usual to reach temp or changing in between settings. After using it for a while you will get a feel of how long it should take to reach desired temperature, & once it takes significantly longer, it'll be time to change batteries. It usually reads 50-40% on my nitecore charger when this happens (never could get the OEM charger to work right from day 1, lucky I use ecigs). I've pushed other batteries in ecigs down to 20+/-% with no adverse affects, even with several months use on them. That is the only thing haze is missing, is a battery indicator, but that could increase the size of the overall unit, so I'm satisfied.

@beiberhole69 (best username ever, best workaholics episode, too) , what color did you get? I grabbed the graphite black. Looks totally pimp.

Hehe, thanks bro, I like your cereal.

I ordered the absinthe green, but tried to add the blue to my cart first and that's what I ended up with. Such a pleasant surprise.

I noticed I was getting a lot less vapor on 2 on the 2nd chamber that had a diff strain and a convection screen. Could've been the battery too, I guess.

Reminds me a lot if the Arizer Air

I'm a noob here, so apologies if this sin't where i'm supposed to post this question....

I've had my Haze for nearly 2 years and I love it. Last night however, while pulling out the steel straw thing, a small black o-ring came out with it. This has never happened before, and i'm not sure how to get it back in to the device....

Has anybody experienced this, and des anyone know if there is a fix? Can the Haze be taken apart etc etc....?

Any help would be awesome, as now i'm worried that using it with out the o-ring could screw the unit!
cheers

so I got a gong from Ratchet3d and I've got to say, i'm pretty impressed with this thing through water. Vapor can get pretty dang thick if you let it warm up a tad between hits. Flav isn't that great on 4.

It's kind of a fun vape... I don't see it knocking off grasshopper, milaana, vapcap or the occasional nano as my main vape, it's pretty fun for a sessioner though

What version is yours? There is a V2 without the lip on the steel mouthpiece, v2.5 which also has the no lip mouthpiece but has different temp settings, and V3 which has the 2.5 temp settings and the (then) new mouthpiece design.

I had the O ring come out of the vapor path on the V2 and Haze replaced the unit with the newer version. I had to pay shipping to Canada.

You will need your receipt and the serial number. Contact their CS (I would assume you must have already done so).

I have Ratchet's custom stand for the Haze. It is one of the best purchases I have made for vaping. The battery caps are really nice too for carrying batteries when outside.

$63 or $75 USD for shipping to Canada for the 4 for 20 sale. Are they nuts?
If you guys see weird prices for shipping like this, please contact me. We are using a shipping module on our website to auto-quote prices based on UPS, USPS rates etc but looks like after every update, it sometimes act funky. I already mentioned this to our programmers and they are looking for alternatives to use on the site. In the meantime, I can assist you guys if you need anything.

hope this can help some haze users. I pack the haze different ways depending on the screen I'm using. the cans need to be filled to the top, tamp down very lightly before putting the cover on, I find these are the smoothest, coolest hits but also the lightest vapor. satisfying for morning use. the convection baskets I have had no luck using, can't seem to nail down the packing method but it does produce better vapor than the cans with slightly harsher vapor, but still pretty cool for conduction. the cut out screen needs to be packed very tight, I fill it to top them tamp down with my finger. it's the harshest, but the vapor is superb, dense and strong even on temp #1..kick it up to #2 or #3 with a bubbler and wow....it will punch you in the head. hope this can help some peeps. I love fc...if anyone has a good packing technique for the convection baskets, please post. when it works right, I like the baskets a lot.

always do your concentrates on the full circle/right side oven... the on switch flips up and you can keep it flat if you need to set it down

I always do the other side. Then again I've never had to put it down as the dabs are done pretty quickly for the amount I place in it. But if you did need to set it down, right bowl would be better.

I find I get the best results with the cans if I place a screen over the herb then press down a bit and then cover with the can with the dry herb top or better yet the old style silicon tops keeping the screen in place after pressing down. I was getting little bits coming through the air path with the old style cans and was told to try a screen in between. When the dry herb lids came out I stopped using the silicon lids (old style) and one day I took one as a spare and did back to back cans one with the dry herb screen and one with a screen pressed into the herb covered by the old style silicon lid. The latter gave bigger clouds and now I use it all the time even with the dry herb lids.

Anyone have any issues with Haze support recently? I figured they might be busy around 4/20 but I haven't gotten a reply to an email in a month. I've also tried opening a new support ticket but haven't gotten a reply to that either.

We have been working hard to reach every corner nowadays. We have been dealing with website issues as well. When it rains, it pours I guess. No excuse of course. As I always try to remind, if you guys face any issues, please send me a PM and we do our best to respond right away. Regarding Square, please follow it on its own thread on FC. We are just starting the beta testing as early as next week and the release is right after that. I apologize the lag between the messages and communication and we do appreciate your patience with us.

You can get the o-ring seated again on your own. This is if you still have it. Just under the lip about 1/8" of a inch into the AP you'll notice a recessed circular channel. It's where the o-ring is supposed to be seated.
Get yourself a headlamp so you have both hands free. All you need to do is get one side set into the channel and take your time pressing the opposite side in.
It may take a few attempts but patience pays off.
I used the pointed end of a nut cracker set. Silp the o-ring just over the end and lower it down into the AP. Then once you've done what I've mentioned earlier everything will be as it was before. You can use a paperclip, small screwdriver set for glasses.
Pro tip ;) when you pull the MP out of the Haze start with a twist first and continue while you pull until it's fully removed. Do the the same thing when you put the MP in for use also. I hope this helps.

I was with Haze and working with then well before Scott came along. To TOOT the horn for @Haze Vaporizers they have always been one of the top and best companies around.
For also being very new on the scene they've set new standards and the bar in the industry on a few levels.

They've been having technical issues and I've even reached out to them to alert them about website glitches and failures.
Remember things can get busy and we can't control unforeseen circumstances or failures. Especially for a company.

I know it never hurts to keep reaching out until you hear something. This also makes for a good paper trail on your end.

Haze will always try their best as fast as they can and that's from my experience with them from day one. I've waited myself in the past for a few issues but they've ALWAYS MADE IT RIGHT and are happy to do so. They're cool like that. May things get sorted out for you soon my friend.

I'm so happy to see all of the new Haze-oh-nauts blasting off with us. Welcome to the family! Cheers all!

:hmm:

I'm taking about my experiences with them not from the companies beginnings. And indeed I was personally dealing with haze before scott worked for them. I just didn't talk about or post about certain arrangements I had with Haze and did so otherwise out of respect to them and others members. Soooooo....moot. No review for me but others can feel free to review your helpful Links. You can't please everyone and I'm not going to. :peace: All aside Haze is top notch. Cheers buddy and happy vaping.

as to the screens I have been using the conduction screen exclusively with a can here and there.. I think I like just sticking the screen in and dumping some herb in there and closing it and going... the cans require more handling but are super convenient when out and about

Not to mention the far bigger and more dense vapor production...I mean who doesn't like that too! Screens for the win.
