All is well, today went much smoother. I wasn't able to remove the staining in the maple on the far left but otherwise I'm happy with all of these. They will be up in my shop soon.

I hear ya @ArthurJ! I feel like I've ordered one from every new batch. I definitely don't "need" more but.. I'm finding it hard to resist the one that's ribbed for my pleasure.. :brow::D
YOU STOLE THE WORDS OUT OF MY HEAD. The whole time I was making it that joke was running through my head.

Yeah, I like the two on the right but jeeze I just bought another one yesterday!!!!
Calm your VAS! :ko: You've got a collection going now.

All of the stems in the picture I just posted are now available in my store!

I should also mention that in the near future I'm going to be stocking Ti Vapcap tips, Caps and Standard Condensers for those wishing to purchase a completed unit.

Hello everyone,

I'm going to be having a sale this week and the following week but before I give the details on it I need to let everyone know that I will be going on holidays. I will be in sunny California with my wife for our reception with her family, (LDR). I will be gone from 4/11 through 4/19, so I'm hoping to make and ship anything requiring tapers or custom work in this week leading up to my departure. This is because they need to have a specific construction in order to maintain a perfectly circular shape during sanding. Keep your eye out for more pieces in my store front as this week goes by.

Any purchases made after I leave will ship out on 4/20.

I will be taking 12% off from now until 4/20, and offering free shipping on orders with more than one item.

The 12% Coupon Code is: 420WOOD2017
Free shipping on orders of 2 or greater will be refunded after you purchase due to a coupon limit on Etsy.

Please don't hesitate to ask me about making something specific or reproducing something I have already made and sold up until 4/8.

I checked and all those beautiful new ones are gone. I really like the middle one and the one to the right of it. Now that I can use the stems with my woodscent I would like to buy another of yours. I love the first one but didn't realize that I need a carb hole because of breathing problems.
It's a great idea to offer tips but why condensers when they aren't needed for your stems?

I was woefully under prepared for the amount of purchases. I'm working hard to get another batch finished.

I'm offering condensers as an option if people want it. I suspect I'll sell more tips and caps than condenser tubes.

Hey guys, I'm at the airport waiting for my flight. While I want to go and see my wife it's hard leaving home. I have so much I want to do but not enough time it seems. I'll be diving head first into producing some more pieces once I'm back.

Does the steel core add a significant amount of weight?

My M is heftier than my omni - not too much, but enough too make it a little more effortful to hold in my lips. Just trying to gauge whether a lined body/stem is similar.

The steel core does add a fair bit of weight but I can still manage to hold my Blackwood Omni in my lips. The shape of the Omni mouth piece and the lighter weight Ti tip is what makes the difference between it and the M. The balance point of the Omni, (even with my steel core) is behind the mid point of the body, were the M has a balance point that is front heavy.

I have some thin wall tube that I have on hand that I've been meaning to try. The heavy wall tube I use is 1mm wall and roughly the same as the M. It would be a great deal lighter but still have some of the benefits of being lined.

You're basically losing the condenser in exchange for the steel core. I think the weight difference is negligible.

Very helpful. Thank you. I'm interested to see how the thinner wall tubing works out.
