Ok so thought I would provide some further updates. I have had my unit for roughly a month now. My appreciation for the Plenty has only grown with time. Here are my latest observations:

  • Maintenance - so far I have not had to clean anything, which is amazing. The upper screen has some blemishes, but otherwise the entire unit looks brand new. I even looked inside the metal "straw" and there does not appear to be a large amount of resin yet inside. Very impressed with how little maintenance this needs compared to my PAX.
  • Reduced Chamber - again this is definitely a must. I also now use the top part of the "capsule" over a partially loaded reduced chamber. Helps to fully vape the herb without it flying around inside. If it's fully packed however no need to use. Consistently able to use small amounts to get fantastic results.
  • Durability - unit is very solid despite several drops. So far no issues and all guages are working correctly, even after dropping the unit on the floor from about 3' high.
  • Heat Up time - I have noticed that the unit takes a substantial amount of time to fully heat up the material. My first 2 or 3 pulls are always blanks with no vapor as the heat begins to warm the chamber. I actually prefer this because it lets the user have complete control over the heat reaching the chamber and no fan is forcing heat upon the herb until I decide to draw. But this can are your session last longer than a few minutes if you're in a rush.
  • Effects - are phenomenal. From the full flavor to the density of the vapor after warming up, have really been imoressed by the performance.
  • Lungs - my lungs feel great. Have not smoked since I've had this unit and have no desire to. My cardio feels much improved from totally eliminating smoking.
Overall great product for personal users who are looking for an everyday workhorse. Get a bag style vape if you consistently will have multiple people vaping. But this unit will do more than fine for the occasional sharing or social event. Still need to find a nice case or something to store this thing in!

How much material have you put through it?

I'm kinda shocked you have not felt the need to clean the upper screen. I did mine about every other weak or else the draw restriction would be severe... i also went through loads of material as mine was used to kick cigs and combustion all together, it was my only vape for over 2 years before i found this forum.

Not a lot, because my needs are not that substantial. During the week, I will probably vape two reduced chambers per day and on the weekends three or four. I make sure to brush off the screen after every use. Also spray it with compressed air to dislodge small bits. Using the top of the capsule to sit in top of your herb mound prevents a lot of material from being sucked up into the screen. Draw is still great though, but I'm sure would be better if I cleaned it.

I've been honing my draw - more of a low, constant pull - to increase the density of the vapor. Seems to keep the screen more clear than huge rips too. Probably give it to the end of the month before I'll swab everything down.

Does The Plenty give the same big clouds as the Volcano?? Witch one should I buy? I already have the Crafty and Arizer solo. Will the Plenty get me more baked then the Crafty?

Plenty will get you considerably more medicated. But its max temp is 202.
The bigger pro over the Crafty are the heating time and the possibility of doing back to backs with no hurts taken by the battery pack.
I own every S&B vaporizer and tried many more. I consider the Volcano > the Plenty but if you are on a budget P is better. If you need a stealthy vape go for the Plenty. After many years new accessories are coming out for the Plenty as for every Storz vape. And a new smaller mouthpiece could be the next innovation. The current one is quite big but I consider it one of the coolest items of the vape world. Imo even more effective than any water tool and way more stealthy.

Awesome. Money isn't a issue . I could get the Cano but I been reading that It can get harsh on the throat. Plenty seems smooth , but alot of people are saying the a Cano will get me more baked. lol I'm confused on what to buy.

Get both. During the day Volcano, during the night the Plenty which having no bag is silent and stealthier.
Plenty is the perfect bedside vape. No lights when off, self contained, goes to temp in a minute, no hydra tube but very tasty and powerful as well. Get the bowl reducer along with the Plenty.
The Volcano isn't harsh at all, it's the best vape ever made! Second being the Plenty and a few others.
As I said I have every Storz vape but during the night hours the Plenty is the one who gets more use. If I am at home I use a cord powered not to stress mobile batteries of the
Mighty and the Crafty.

This particular technique may have been covered in previous posts, but I didn't find it, so apologies in advance if that is the case....as far as reduced loads, solo use, from day one I just mixed in fresh ground herb with ABV. The proportions can vary, but a nice full chamber gives great vapor, no matter the ratio. Typically I make a bed of ABV that completely covers the chamber (talking the regular size chamber) then put in my dose and mix it up.......Voila', three or four nice pulls and medicated just right.....

Much easier than all the reducer/dosing capsule stuff. Don't get me wrong, I love the dosing capsules for discreet travel, especially with my Mighty and Crafty, but the fresh/ABV trick works great and is super easy.
try adding ur herb to reduced chamber and put ur capsule on top to keep it in place dence vapor from nothing

Got my Plenty yesterday and already made a few sessions!

I like how it medicates me hard, I get a brown enough abv and it is efficient although there is a lot of cons I think:

- it's big and ugly, even more in person (maybe designers was working at Bosch before...), my wife was laughing when I opened the package, she thoughts it was a joke!
- maybe I misuse it but I can't get a stable t°, it's heating up or down but never stay at the same temperature...
- Taste is rather nice but nothing very "floral"
- I thought one of the bigger pro was how smooth the vapor is....not in my case I'm coughing like hell even at 5!
-high air/vapor ratio
- no stand on its own
- whip (coil?) might be difficult to clean

But I understand now the Storz and Bikel's reputation, the vapor is very potent and I was heavily medicated after each session. Used the reduced chamber but tried lastly the mesh screen method and I prefer the abv I get like that (it is a bit darker). Still need to try a whole chamber!
I appreciate it but it will be a special occasion vape only I think...

I had a Volcano for several years and really liked the vapor quality but grew to dislike the bag more and more so I got rid of it. I have been considering a new desktop unit for a while and have really been leaning toward a Plenty, but really want to try it before I buy one due to its unique features. Is there anyone in the Portland, Oregon area that has one that I could come and try out? I'll bring the filling chamber material...

Does the vapor resemble the Mighty or the Volcano?
How easy is the Plenty to clean with heavy use?

@aj0125

this thread is fairly quiet so maybe id better reply
(theres some good stuff back there - worth a dig)

i dont use my plenty as daily driver anymore
but its sitting on a shelf ...waiting

i think its supposed to pass for a black and decker lol

by design it goes to temp then switches off and doesnt come back on
untill its dropped by 12/22 degrees c/f
then when you squeeze the handle it restarts - so youre not misusing it

ive been using sticky brick recently - it reminds me a bit of the plenty
so i guess taste is more convection than mighty (i havent tried volcano)
someone who had both compared plenty vapor to regular coffee
and mighty vapor to expresso - so mighty more concentrated
not sure about coughing - just that i think we agreed very long and very slow seems best
i prefer to use water (hydratube) rather than drawing on the long coil

for a stand they say use brush stuck in screw hole where the handle joins the body right at the bottom
it acts like a kick stand

cooling coil takes a long time before it needs cleaning
i use iso soak then water then (..takes a while) drying
its worth checking youve shaken out all the water
and the whole bowl comes off and so i drop it that in iso as well

it should keep you guys happy
nice big clouds

Paired it with a water tool and it was an awesome session, definitly a beast!

Sadly I will not keep it cause the Cloud+ I traded it for doesn't seems to resist to shipping.... so I probably will send it back to its owner and get back my Cloud (dead now...)...it was not a good call but things like that happens sometime.

Sorry about your Evo....but b4 you return..try it with a 14mm glass stem in lieu of
the coiled whip....might need a small pc of silicone to adapt to point of connection.
Flavor is very different...much...much better!!!

CANNABIS.....Cluster Headache...ReNew...Mission. Good to-Go!!!

Yes, I use mine with my Herbalaire's whip, helps for smoother hits. That's my main complain after the design, the Plenty's vapor is harsh!

Although it medicates me very hard!
