Volute of Vapor
Why not a heating by puff or heating by time similar to the Alfa does. It looks like the housing might be improved also.

Pods/capsules are a must to do. since the unit use convection (isn't it), is it possible to add an inhalation detection feature to give a boost while the user hit it.

The incorporated stirring tool is nice, a stash compartment could be awesome too, no units offer this feature in my knowledge...

Nice contest!

A good one if you go ahead with capsules, if the vape gave one last beep when it cooled below safe temperature for fingers (40-50c?),
to signify that it's safe to empty the capsule from the oven straight to hands?
This could also signify when it has cooled to a more optimum temperature to plug in and charge if people are using onboard charging.

I'd like the option of changing LED colors and brightness too.

As for the package maybe there could be no grinder/filler and lower the price further.
Maybe also the green buttons/parts make it a bit too edgy and 420 style for some?
Thanks.

I would like to see the OLED display some diagnostic info like total hours of operation, model#, firmware#, serial #, battery charge total capacity, remaining battery capacity, charge cycles, discharge cycles for example.

Haptic feedback would be nice but it's a hardware change. Silent mode I think you already have.

Being able to turn off the LED would be nice in some situations.

Perhaps if possible make an on demand setting, were once it is on the user can hold the fire button so it heats while hitting. Once the button is let go it cools. I enjoy session vapes but also sometimes just need to snag a quick hit and don't want to waste the whole load.

I think there is a lot of outstanding suggestions I really like the temp step and stealth lights. But with the screen on the bottom maybe cupping it with the hand would make the stealth.

Either way great interactive contest and I wish the Vivant Alternate great success in the future of vaporizers!!

I am totally on board with this idea. Look at the Crafty thread numbers come up a bunch. I will definitely be keeping tabs on Vivant's numbers in the coming months.

Thanks @blackstone @Fat Freddy @Vitolo @1_gr8_underdog :sherlock:

I have been spending time reading through the thread and didn't realize this vape had such a great reputation with our well know vets! I will be sure to put the alternate through some paces and see what its all about! It seems this might feel my steath battery portable gap that hasn't been the same since selling my haze v3... I'm excited and patiently waiting for the damn mailman...
