The beauty of a vapcap is you can make it to suit your preferences as soon as you make the jump up to the Ti tip and condenser system. After you have a Ti Vapcap you can upgrade to an Omni condenser if you feel like you need it or it would be of benefit. So if you're unsure you can always start with a Ti model to test out the waters.

Since I use my Vapcap mostly in water pieces I don't even drill a carb hole for my personal vongs. I treat them like a good old fashioned bowl piece in a bong and lift it from the joint to adjust my airflow. Something about lifting my finger off a carb hole just isn't as satisfying?

I'm wondering if I should get a vong when I purchase one, so I want to know if it's good for use with water tools or if I should save the money and put it towards getting a log.

Regarding using in a bong.. I had huge success using the original Vapcap in my bong but the new Omni just does not produce the vapor in the bong the way the original does. I am super impressed with the device overall

Thanks @Winegums , that is actually part of a solution I was going to suggest to Arielle too!
And I now realize my question was answered on the last page oops!
I kinda knew I'd be impressed because the OG model is already very enjoyable. But you can still see people highly recommending Omni to this day!! It adds a little doubt haha!

And really nice work on the stems, for this and Solo/Air too!

Don't know why, but I think I'd really enjoy having a dynastash in a pocket and using it outside, or in a forest etc!

Do people that have them use them for outdoors, or is it more a quality thing for at home and the plastic tubes work better for out and about?

I posted this after making my first 18mm VonG. It was a Bubba Kush Nug

My Vapcap inspired me to get a larger piece to see all that lovely vapour. My smaller WP just wasn't doing it justice.

Edit: heat right at the base of the cap with a single nozzle lighter and as soon as it clicks, slam that baby in the glass and pull hard, you're sure to get some thick vapour. It should almost be flooding out of the cap area when you drop in.

This is my current set up. I have been trying to work on 1. using a cool little cigarette box with magnets to use when in my office. In back you have the 4.88 cent waterproof box I got from walmart. It can hold my lighter, vapcap and I want to make two receptacles one for AVB and one to store Herb. A container can go in the lid also. I am trying to figure out what material to use to create separations in there. also I will probably glue one of those magnets on something in here to hold the cap

I didn't take those videos myself, but I have seen similar performance in my own experience of using my VapCaps with water. And my herb was definitely not combusted!

I'm not noticing much of a difference or any difference at all with the resistence when I unscrew the tip on my omni. Do you guys notice a big difference? Maybe I'm doing something wrong, but the thing is so simple to put together I think I'm on the right track.

No combustion as far as I can tell. It gets very close and usually is a dark brown when it comes out. A vong is absolutely worth investing in.

As much as I love everything. I am wondering about that myself? like 60.00 difference. I will wait to check with my glassy replacement first before making a formal comment

I had that problem at first. Try squeezing the bottom of the body as you twist the mouthpiece. If that doesn't work, remove the condenser/mouthpiece and make sure you can unscrew the mouthpiece and that it's not locked up, that would prevent it from adjusting.

I have a new omni, and to get it as closed as I want I have to have the condenser fully unscrewed and then I push the condenser in a little bit. It stays in place perfectly. If I don't push the condenser in a little bit I don't get it completely closed off, which I like for when I'm going hands free.

For the same reason that it is hard to choose one chocolate bon bon from a box full. It's also a wasted effort. Just choose one that appeals to you because very soon you will be back for more. The decision to make is not "which model shall I choose?", it's "how many will I choose?".

I can confidently say that I have NEVER combusted using a Vapcap. Just remember to respect the click and you will not combust.

Your condenser and mp are probably turning together. Pull the condenser out of the body, adjust the mp by threading it tigher into the condenser for less air resistance or unscrewing it for tight air resistance. Then put it back together and test. Testing is the fun part...

I've posted these videos before, but you probably missed them- definitely no Combustion, although both were videos were taken on the second heat cycle. I would heat to the click, enjoy the vapour directly into mouth for max flavour, then after cool down click, heat again, and put through a dry water piece whilst filming it. Dry herb, through a Blackwood Omnivap:

As @Vapor_Eyes said, I reckon your condenser thread is locked up: think of when you over tighten a nut and bolt and it becomes difficult to free them up. You might want to try removing the condenser and unscrewing it ever so slightly to free it up, and then re-insert it into the body. Turning it should then adjust the airflow. It might take more turns than you expect to make an effect. Hope that helps.

I understand that. I was doing the same today with my vong, but as a dry pipe. It is great by the river as well, with the wood body it just feels like it fits in right with where I'm at. It's cool using water to cool the cap down. Though just as others are claiming, it is amazing thru a water pipe.

I read a lot in this thread, don't post all that much, but tonight's conversation reminds me why this whole VC thing is just in a different place from all of my other vapes. I own a sweet little arsenal of high quality digital and analog vapes, both portable and desktop. That said, I find myself going for one of my Ti's about 90 % of the time. A great combination of ritual, efficiency and experience that has superseded all of the other GREAT vapes in my signature. I am seriously spoiled :-)
