Clear Ptfe hybrid from Oilslick...what is it?

Oilslick has a new Ptfe packaging that's clear. They say is modified with another similar fluoropolymer to make it clear and more nonstick. Got samples on the way figured I'd ask here too.

Any ideas? .20 each is more than they charge for the regular ptfe (.10) but clear? Worth the extra dime in my business.

I found a 4"square of clear Fep film online for $6 can it possibly be the same, just much much much cheaper?
20 cents from OS vs 6 bucks from a chem store seems insane.

Not sure if this is the info you are looking for, but a rep from the company recently posted some info explaining their product differences in the diy rosin thread. Check it out HERE, maybe some useful info in that post for you.

Yes the oil slicks are definitely FEP. where did you find them for cheaper?

It doesn't take a fold well. Haven't heard much feedback otherwise.

Bit of a bugger to work with due to .. the clarity. Picks dust out of the air re: static, but then PTFE is similar.

They claim you can press with it but the squares are too small for my plates.

Very nice presentation wise. Bit hard to swallow their high shipping rates.
