Discontinued VapeXhale Cloud EVO

The whistle drives my girlfriend crazy....it makes it difficult, because it makes it hard to use since she's always around. It can be annoying, and sometimes it can be hard to master the technique to be whistle-free.

My only other complaints are that the elbs are a bitch to maintain, and the led should be brighter...it can be easily seen close up, but not from much farther. Previous Cloud iterations had better brigher leds IME.\

And lastly, the ability of the EVO to maintain a thermal mass is impressive, however, with such intense heat and a convection technology, my lungs are really starting to feel it and i'm coughing way more. The girlfriend is experiencing the same....i'm at 2:00 she's at 9:00..... going to dial it back to 1:00 and see what happens, but I hate these chest tightening feelings that I never get with the Grasshopper or Supreme.

More testing! Low temp style!

I'm actually glad the LED isn't too bright as I hate bright glaring LEDs in my house.

In regards to your discomfort, are you using your Evo dry? Using my Evo with my Honeycomb HT is pretty much on par with my other convection vapes as far as smoothness, Grasshopper included. Using it dry on the other hand does seem more harsh to me than pretty much any other vaporizer I have used dry.

The Evo really is meant to be used with water. Even at lower temps I find it more uncomfortable than I would expect dry, I think it's the wide open airpath that gives a huge blast of heat as opposed to something more concentrated. The Evo is a shotgun and the Grasshopper is a laser. How's that for a weird analogy?

I definitely gets me more medicated than the GH...I get this punch to the head like a concentrate hit or something!

In what way? I find them pretty easy to maintain. I have a small bottle type brush that I run up into the ELB body and the cap area after every load and when it gets cruddy, then I just pop it into some ISO and use a different ELB. What's causing you grief about cleaning the ELBs?

My bamboo joint and turbine HT don't whistle very much at all, mostly just when I suck on it like a $20 hoo....err, never mind. But you get the idea LOL

I run at 1:00 and am totally convinced that I am getting almost all I want extracted from the herb. Any left really isn't that much IMO, and I leave it in the AVB. 2:00 would be as high as I can personally stand and would be uncomfortable and harsh. But we all like different temps and can tolerate different degrees of harshness. Like you GF at 9:00....that wouldn't do it for me, but she's happy with it, yeah?

It's a good one, and I completely agree...dry just isn't possible for me with this one. I'm finding that the huge blast of heat is just irritating to my airways even with water, although i'm getting decent improvement by dialing back the dial to 1ish.

This isn't new for me...most convection vapes crush my lungs, especially at upper temps (where I like to play), the Herbalizer is no different, same with every other convection vape i've ever tried. I just need to be careful with the temp, grind consistency, and my draw. The volume of vapour i'm sure doesn't help, so I need to be a little more conservative with my loads too lol

The biggest issue honestly, and this is most convection vapes as well....except for a couple, is that I sneeze like a mofo! I think it's the immediate intense blast of terpenes! It kills me...like seriously I sneeze over and over non stop...it's brutal.... trying to determine if it's the grind, etc....

What was it I said that you didn't agree with again? My memory is a blur today.... haha

@biohacker: Holy shit, I was just thinking earlier today about making a thread dedicated about sneezing and terps. I sneeze a lot with more terpy material, especially concentrates. Now that I think about it, it really only happens with convection vaporizers and dabs.

With regards to harshness I shouldn't have commented because I smoked cannabis and tobacco for way too long so I am used to harshness and am not a good judge at all. I actually prefer a more "robust" vapor.

Okay i'm officially sold and loving my EVO experience now that i've adjusted to it and gave it a proper test drive! I have the hydrabomb and the hydracirc 2.0 (i think?) and i've used it with my own bubbler and it's definitely a keeper! I definitely gets me more medicated than the GH...I get this punch to the head like a concentrate hit or something! I also have a supreme v3 on its way so with the GH, EVO, and SUP3 i'm pretty happy although have the Herborizer Ti on my VAS! And the SUB lol

EVO stays in my collection....Herbalizer is being axed!
@biohacker your the best!

I found a EVO basket today while making my KIEF + E-JUICE for my new 200-watt MOD.

Tomorrow is EVO day!

Like @lazylathe I can make my own.
Why? The EVO = FLAVOR + MEDICATION =
CIVILIZED the right way!

@JCat mine whistled like crazy at first.
Now it's quite?

@JCat @lazylathe look at @ataxian tagging all of us Ontario homeboys in the same post! POW! Another EVO miracle! lol
I went there many times when I was traveling for work when I worked once?

CANNABIS > WORK
CANNABIS = CIVILIZED (regardless of your location)

EVO = FLAVOR for the CONNOISSEUR!

Where you live does not matter!

CANNABIS makes you smarter regardless of location.

OUTDOOR if you can?
INDOOR if you must?

EVO = ENJOYMENT

My EVO has a mean whistle every time it returns from the shop. After about a month like @ataxian said it doesn't whistle any more

Mine is still whistling after many months of daily use (at least 5 ELBS every day). I actually like to draw just slightly faster than the whistle, as this gives great clouds without driving my wife crazy!

Just got my Vapexdeck and new Moko Heatshield.

I likes...

I'm not touching the EVO today, so i'm going to test the Herbalizer since it has a similar convective profile as see how the sneezing fits go.... it really is something....drives my wife nuts, pretty similar to the whistle lol She thinks it tortures the dog

I use about 20ELBS everyday. And it still will whistle if i make it.
@biohacker I think your temps are quite high try 10-11 i get HUGE clouds and less irritation at this temp.

Thanks @kellya86 ! I just report it as I experience it! In all honesty, for my own personal style of vaping, I love rapid bong like snap extraction and the Herbie is a let down. It takes too long to extract IMO.... I LOVE the rapid heat up, and precision temperature, but other than that (I don't use bags), I think the EVO is much more of a master extractor. It hate the elbs, but at least you can have lots of them....with the herbie, the bowl is just as much of a bitch to maintain, but they're too expensive to own multiples.

I think i'm ready for a 12:00 on the dial hit! Loading up the elb!
