Discontinued Haze Dual V3

Creeper

deep in the matrix...
Using the concentrate cans I would recommend keeping the Haze flat with the can lids facing up. The silicone has two holes for the vapour path however I could see with the unit being upside down liquid pouring out of the holes.

I think that is exactly what did happen with me...you live and learn I guess. I won't be going near any oils with it in the future, just in case. After a brief chat, iam pleased to say that Alex from haze has sorted everything out for me and il be receiving my new unit soon and may even purchase the square upon release too. Couldn't be happier with Haze's customer service now. Great job guys !

I've got an Eds tnt 18 mm cocowood WPA for my haze v3 on the way for the D020 bubbler I just got... that d020 is the perfect hand size... I've been walking around just holding on to it lol!

@Creeper that is a very valid point actually. I never considered that.

I never hold my haze like that anyways. I actually usually hold it like a flask and then tilt it up to hit it which inevitably has it laying flat.

@No Ego, I am intrigued by the DO20 bubbler. Do you need any other attatchments or is it good to go out of the box? I ask because how reasonable the price is for the product.

I have a few methods of getting the haze onto the bubbler... a tapered wine cork is the most simple and with holes drilled through it you can connect it to the original mouthpieces etc... I have a 14mm WPA already for another bubbler I have and just drilled a hole in a tapered cork to fit the 14 mm into it for the d020.. it's ok but the haze sits to high in the air from the extra corks length...

the new 18mm WPA on the way will allow the vape to sit lower down on the bubbler without the extra height of the cork...
when I ordered the d020 I ordered two just in case...

Is there an advantage health or otherwise of using it with the Haze as oppose to just using herb with the bubbler? I am new to this so forgive the simplistic questions.

Herb through a bubbler is still not as clean as using a vaporizer. Combustion is just harsh either way in comparison.

Is there a reason you did not buy the wpa connection Haze sells?

the water left over after vaporizing through it is quite stinky ( stank) and I imagine that filters some stuff from getting to the lungs... water assisted vaping too helps with the smoothness of the draw and gives better pulls from the pressure of the water plus allows higher heat vaping to heat release those heavier medicinal compounds in the plant... hitting the vaporizer for those high heat compounds at a really high heat directly with no water assist will be harsh to your throat... you will find that with vaporizing you can tailor your approach to benefit from certain compound attributions. for example you can use a very low heat setting and hit the vaporizer getting a heady, active sativa buzz during the day... at night hit the same strain and turn up the heat at maximum temp to get at the higher sedative compounds etc...

I do have the glass wpa they sell and since getting the wood one from Ed's I have not touched the glass wpa... in fact that wood wpa stays on my haze now full time except when out with it and I use the stainless mouthpiece for travel... I did the last few times take the wpa with me to use out and about but am concerned to lose it so may stick with the metal one from now on

Hello everyone. This is my first post here. I have been reading the forum for several years now.
Recently i was trying to make the transition from combustion to vaping so i used my haze more frequently. The bad news is now that my haze V3 is broken.
The chamber selection (if you look trough one off the chamber holes you can see that there is no open hole when the chamber is selected) is broken and while vaping i got some pieces of broken plastic in my mouth (a bit shocking). I also suspect that the broken chamber is overheating.

I've contacted the CS on the haze website on 02/18/'17. No response yet. Fingers crossed.
I really love my haze and i'm missing it already.

Does anyone recommend a worthy replacement (arizer air, MFLB, Da vinci IQ, PAX 3, or any upcomming vapes)? I mostly vape dry herb.

Thanks

Hey and welcome to FC :)

I've experienced the same thing but Scott from CS took care of it like a champion.

And about the plastic parts, I think they come from the broken part straight under where you stick in the mouthpiece, so you are not vaping them. And thats good news right? ;)

Yeah i noticed that the chamber selector was not going as smoothly . A friend of mine also has the haze (i recommended him) and his goes very smoothly.

Just did a huge clean on my haze. Maybe a month went by without cleaning it. It only vaped 2-4 grams. I used about 20 Q tips. That air path is now spotless. Maybe 1 little speck of weed is left in there. But I think I got it good.

Do you guys do a burn off to get the ISO taste out if airpath before using it after a clean? Right now I just have my air path open and going to let it air out for 30 mins before using.

I seem to have a bad case of VAS

I do a combination of a couple things. One, I use dry cotton swabs to try and absorb any large amount of remaining iso. Two, I do a very short burn off on the highest temperature in both ovens. Basically once it reaches temperature I stop the burnoff. And three, I let it air dry for an entire night. Letting it have that much time to dry has made it so I don't risk tasting any iso next time I use it.

No coconut milk here.

I use 99.9% ISO. Also looking at using the thing tonight. Not feeling a rise 2.0 for tonight's sessions.

Should not have waited so long to clean it. Was starting to taste bad. But been so lazy with long work weeks and the weekends was the last thing I would think about cleaning.

Hey guys, I've noticed that my haze goes in a kind of standby after 3/4 minutes. The lights just go off. In that case I need to remove and insert the battery again to get it working. It isn't because of low battery, as when I insert the battery again it goes on for another 3/4 minutes. Not sure if this happens on both batteries or only one, but was wondering if this has happened to anyone yet?

I don't know if it is a standby mode, but every time mine shuts off after not using for 5 minutes or so I just close the mouthpiece door/lid and open it again. Turns the unit back on and it's usually ready to go in less time than an initial heatup.
