Today i tried the salvia vaporizing method i described above and it does work! :p Almost too good cause it was glowing orange while i was blowing a bag on fan speed 1 (turning the heat down will work or blowing it at 3 speed). It burnt it a little bit, and that was while it was in the little mesh bowl you use on the glass joint. But the vapor was very thick and smelled and tastes exactly like salvia but the best thing was it wasn't as gross or as harsh as smoking is. I didn't have enough sal left so when i did it i didn't get any intense effects. but it worked.. Im trying kief tonight the same way i did the salvia to see if it will burn it at 250c right above the heater.

I saw a post about getting the resin out of the extreme's tubing and joints. My question is do you guys actually use that resin again? And how do you extract it? Very interesting...

Alright time to :ko: peace

Vape oil can be vaped, but i find the best use is capsules, Don't really like it, prolly cause the oil baron got me Taning the turkey baster for honey oil. :p , It will make you realise your Extreme isn't everything to everone but, Honey oil that is.

ps im trying one of the top screens in the bottom of one of the Bowls to see how it goes, cant say anything yet, i'll stick with it trying different amounts of herb for a few day's, Pass the peace bro's :)

"cheeky edit" ooh I luv my slow/Crock Pot, It evaporate's a Treat, with Bugger all hassle, nice and slow wins the race hehehe Its nearly done yummm
What type of iso did you use to extract the oil and how long did you let them sit in the solvent? Basically can you tell me your whole process? And what temp do you set ur crockpot to evaporate the iso?
Id love to do this tonight, ive never gotten the chance to try some honey and i really want to.
How much oil did you get from soaking all your stuff cannabudz?

What if someone :ninja: were to be growing a "special plant" :uhoh:
Do you have to cure your buds to use in a vaporizer? I know you have to dry but what about cure? Would it make a big difference if they wern't cured? WOrse taste?

the tase would be adversely effected if it wasnt cured properly, if you want to quick-cure a portion of the harvest, look up water curing on google

in order to get the best tasting plant, grow organic, and air cure

Ive vaped some "tester" buds before they were ripe. It takes a little while before you start getting vapor, initially its taste really "green" (like a wet plant) but does give you an idea of the final product.

TBH, I really only taste the flavor of the stuff on the first drag, after this I think all the taste terpines are gone. Thats just my opinion though.

i think the cure helps mature the thc molecules kinda like aging wine... vaporizors vaporize thc.. so i couldonly assume that a better cure will give you a better taste and a nicer spectrum to your buzz.
but using dry uncured bud while you wait for that cure should not pose a problem.. everythingi put thru my x has tasted wonderfull.. even as it sometimes gets that toasty taste , i find that better than the taste of combusting.

kind of, it all comes down to decarboxylation, it happens during curing as the chlorophyll degrades the thcv gasses off its co group to turn it into thc

Lol i really have nothing left to talk about. I think we've covered everything about the extreme. But i would like to see someone fully dissemble it, see what it looks like totally torn apart. :p

Hey guys, has any one ever tried to fill a 10ft bag with the extreme? How long did it take or how long do you think it would take? Also, I have heard there were problems with the extreme and its digital readout not begin accurate, is there any truth to this or has it been fixed? Thanks.

It wasn't designed to show vaping temp on the display. The original version displayed the heater temp. He did it that way to make it easier on the electronics-reliability purposes you could say. Then he moved the sensor closer to the bowl. Still doesn't display true vaping temp, but the display temp drops 100 degrees I think. This is covered in the sticky post at the top of the section:

I just wanted to see some pics :) But you could tell me this: Was it dusty or dirty inside at all? And is the ceramic heater held inside securely? Im always scared of moving it out of place or damaging it...:uhoh:

I am so happy i bought the extreme!! I have gone without combustion for months and months and it will stay that way, unless i need a toke away from home ;) ANother question though, What is a good portable vape thats cheap? I might get one. :brow: Thanks guys.. keep this thread rolling. Oh and FUCK COMBUSTION! :D

I want to know r you vaping Honey oil in your Extreme spyder(Mine wont work it, it seems), ifso was it the extra heat you acheived that was responsible for that. Also id like to see pictures if possible, of you going thru the process, While i get Fab results from the E, i do definately agree it could do with more Heat if it can be done without risking the lifespan of the Unit or Invalidate warranty(the latter Prolly not that important to me Depending?)

I havnt spent much time trying to vape honey oil in the Extreme,So im not even sure about it, But i do know the Vaporgenie Works it Great ( i feel i can tweek the heat much hotter with a lighter, prolly a bit higher than the 260c mark on the "E") I didnt have patience using my Extreme with BHO because i didnt want to waste a luxury like that :p

You've never heard of the VaporGenie or Vaporstar? They're very popular. They have their own threads.

What about the ubie? I like the glass they use with the ubie. Not a fan of wood for any smoking or vaping.

Also i like the vaporstar but it doesn' look portable enough, it has a glass pipe that makes its 2x bigger.
