Random thoughts

I love clouds. We saw this fallstreak (or hole-punch) cloud last Saturday and got a picture of it. :)

Other pictures and an explanation of how it formed are here: http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sciencet...alifornians-react-unique-cloud-formation.html

Well this thread got less random and more political....

One unexpected benefit of vaping seems to be that hair does not burn and vape temps....

Not that my cannabis would be riddled with such filth, as I am lab clean......

But the rare few times I get some street draw for some reason, it's always got fluff or dogs hair, or worse (pubic???) in it....

I never actually end up vaping other draw as I can't get over the germs and contaminants that may be on it, i dont even like the thought that the grower may have coughed over it. So it gets donated to a smoker, or sits there for months until it finds a home....

Being self sufficient and vaping may have made my cannabis related ocd worse...
I remember the black market days very well. The occasional random curly hair or dog hair in with the stash.
Or something you're not sure what the hell it is!! Damnit - I pay good money for premium. What about cannabis that had a slightly off taste, it's not a cannabis taste either.:bang:

But I like it!
I don't have a random thought, so today I have a random question. What are options when working with dry sift from trim? I have 80 grams, which was just decarbed for 10 minutes at 300 degrees. And then I blanked on what do do with it. I have oils, alcohols, machines (pressed some last night - this stuff has a somewhat unpleasant to me smell and taste. Hard to put finger on, just that certain je ne c'est quois... Kinda like the comments just above... )

So, soak in alcohol? MCT? Coconut? Cocobutter for some electric pb fudge? Honey?

That's too bad about the taste, as you could just use it as a table seasoning since it's decarbed.

You could send it to me, I'll make sure it goes to good use

Lo and Behold! The transformative power of Vapor.
Out of nowhere, I just got awarded 5,000 likes. :bowdown:and.... that's 5,000 likes right back at you. My fellow FCer's
Lost track at 1200, so this was really unexpected. Although I have made to feel part of the forum early on. :freak:
Time as good as any to take a short pause and reflect a moment. :spliff: And I'm feeling a bit sentimental...

Glad we all can do our part to help educate and learn with each other and have a lot of fun along the way. :science:Been eager to return the favors ever since when I make any sort of discovery.
And I have had the pleasure of helping others too. Often PMed by several vapor newbies for advice.

To think I came to FC 2 years ago to find out about the PAX1, the only vaporizer I knew about at the time. Now look at my sig. Other FC vets have helped me make decisions and answer my questions and help me achieve vapor bliss. :peace:

Am I just too stoned or what? If you tax Mexican goods coming into the U.S 20% to help pay for the Trump wall, that raises prices that the American people have to pay for. That would make our fruit and produce prices go sky high. Is this man just plain stupid?

I needed to vent.

If Mexico is a strong country and its economy does well I would think that would be a good thing. The Mexican people will want to stay and live in Mexico. It's a good thing if our boarder countries do well.

I needed to vent.

Privatize the profits and socialize the losses. Another mantra from the right, the super-rich and the corporations.

Get 2 packs generic brownie mix.... Throw 1/2 the sift in each.
Mix the batches well, according to formula.. each will have 40 grams of sift so, add 2 tablespoons of water in each batch. Bake according to directions.
I use paper lined foil cupcake cups for portioning, longevity of freshness, and for cleanup reasons (or lack there-of).
You would have the makings of two batches... do both at once, or again for freshness do them a few days apart.
It is very medicating just like that, and you have less work to do to achieve what you seek.

I like cooking with herb....
and when it is vaped weed I use it directly... but when it is green...I prepare it..
my own preferred decarboxylation.

I put the clean green herb on a dry frying pan, and I……..

Photoon2011-05-21at1555.jpg

I heat it on a low/medium flame and stir constantly as it heats.
As the herb turns a light tan, wisps of vapor rise.
I continue until all weed is golden brown, then I stir until it is cooled down.
The whole story is Here:
My “Stovetop Sniff & Whiff Vaporizer” light prose/true story real-time
(getting vaped while cooking)
I’ve been collecting ABV for years from very high grade medicinal MJ. I also use it regularly, but sometimes supplies dwindle.
I use edibles to sleep, and to get pain relief.
Low today on ABV, and regrouping my collection, I needed to create a nightime edible, without also depleting my green Dragon stash, or daytime “treats”.
I sure wasn’t going to cook with my unvaped “meds”!
I acquired some good grade “comersh” sativa for the brownies I was about to make.
I don’t cook with totally green herb.
I sure couldn’t vape an ounce of herb in a sitting!
SO…..
I threw the sack into a blender on low, to not smash up any seeds.
I ran the ground herb through the strainer.
I stuck the debris from strainer in Olive oil in the oven at 300 for 35 minutes.
I put the clean herb on this frying pan, and I……..
(here’s the part where I got baked!)
Photoon2011-05-21at1555.jpg

I heated it on a low/medium flame and stirred constantly as it heated.
As the herb turned a light tan, whisps of vapor rose, and that Old familiar scent danced upon the lining of my nostrils. “Ahh… vape”. As I stirred I breathed repeatedly, very close to the skillet.
I realized I was stoned! Not a bad buzz either!
The rest was easy (since I walked the rest of the way on a cloud of vapor!)
Oil strained.. Skillet Vaped weed in the mix… eggs water…
I am baked… and brownies are baking.

The Results!
They were simply great!
I made them in a disposable aluminum round baking dish, so they were Pie shaped.
Slept late thanks to them.
They were more uplifting than AVB brownies, in that the weed was not totaled, only lightly tanned!
My discussion about ABV and cooking with green weed from 2011 is at

I just walked into my bathroom to find a frog sitting on the seat. He must have come out of the toilet as that makes more sense that hopping through two doorways. Either way he is now sounding like the Predator outside in my garden looking to get lucky tonight.

I've said it before. There's "fake news" everywhere :ninja:

The trouble is defining it. We may as well debate the nature of reality itself :whoa:

There's always truth-tellers between the fixed narratives,
you can tell who they are because they are the ones shunned by the polemicists.

Why does it always have to come down to communism vs fascism?

Different flavors of tyrannical globalism, wtf happened to democratic socialism?

Where were all the soros-sponsored women's groups...
when the previous serial groper/rapist "slick bubba willie" was in office?

Where were the war protesters when obama ramped them up...
from two wars to seven, and became known as the drone assassin-in-chief?

If you think the "other side" is the issue that needs dealing with,

you are part of the problem —

no matter what "side" you're on!

Here here, I said that out loud to somebody yesterday. We all need see beyond the fake politics of the day to be problem solvers. Any problem worth solving requires more depth than trying to 'choose a side'. Having a long view of events and not getting manipulated by the outrage of the day. :horse:

People who only get their news from one trough are by my definition uninformed. I say we are engaging in a fight for perceptive reality. Rationale had been getting bruised up. More people are pausing and actually filtering what they are absorbing, while others tunnel their head further. Some people think there is some sort of central media. I don't think there is an agreed upon news source anymore. I don't have a stong idea what most people are absorbing. It used to be network TV, then FOX and CNN. What is the agreed upon source today? Morning TV shows? Google news?

I just finished watching the first ever AFLW (Australian Football League Women) game & am pleasantly surprised. It could be the fact that there has been no football for 4 months but they had a crowd of 18-20,000 with thousands turned away.

The first 3 or 4 minutes was near unwatchable & there is a serious lack of skill on display. That is offset by how fucking hard these ladies smash each other. Over time I expect the women will become more attractive to watch but the world has a new #1 for physically brutal team sport.

Far from the intensity & skill displayed by the men but it is a good start & will fill in until the mens comp starts next month.

Ripper! The Footy's back, and it's not the NAB cup. I've been debating whether to watch the women (deep down I know I will) because watching AFL takes up all of my free time for 6 months of the year

GO BOMBERS!

I only really started watching AFL seriously when I moved from Sydney to Melbourne in 2010 following my principal of always support your local team & I was living in the heart of Hawthorn country. Guess I got very lucky with the Hawks but they are on the slide a bit after the three peat of 2013, 14, 15.

I am most excited about seeing my favourite player Jarryd Roughead coming back after recovering from cancer. What a lionheart!

The women will hold my interest until the trials start but they can be so ugly to watch with their lack of skill. Put it this way I don't expect to see any Betts or Rioli style magic from the womens league

I really enjoy watching old games & it seems to me the peak was much like the NRL from the mid 80's to the mid 00's when men were men.

I was a Photographer for one of the local newspapers in the 70s. I often had the Sports beat.

My assignment one day was a soccer tournament. I had to get in, get a few print worthy shots and then be off to another assignment.

There were several fields adjacent to each other with a narrow spectator area between them. As I focused on one field with my camera in anticipation of a noteworthy play, the ball from the field behind me went out of bounds with the player in pursuit. I never saw it coming and neither did he..... as he chased the ball he came up behind me and slammed head on straight into my back. My camera went flying, hitting another spectator. I felt my feet lift off the ground as I became airborne before landing flat on my back. An ambulance arrived land took me away. I recovered quickly after a two week hospital stay. I was young.

Anyway, I can't imagine playing that game voluntarily. The battering their bodies go through, even with padding. The level of fitness, agility and strength required certainly is way, way beyond anything I have come close to in my life and I used to be very fit.
