So I need to complain a little about the list. I have several people who are up for units and when I contact them I get no response. If you need time for financial reasons let me know and I can move you to the bottom of the list, if you changed your mind let me know I can free up your unit. If you just ignore the whole thing you are actually causing everyone issues because you are wasting my time. This means I have to spend time dealing with admin bs instead of making Touch's. At the point I find myself spending too much time with this I'll change up and require a hefty non refundable deposit. I've been going out of my way to be reasonable and accommodate people but I'm getting a feeling that isn't working so good. If you changed you mind please let me know it saves a ton of time.

@Lookatmeglow it wasn't you
@Fat Freddy thanks, I have changed the wording of the email to give them five days to respond then they are off the list, period. One guy just got back to me and the email went to spam and he didn't see it.
I know people can have issues which is why I'm trying to be flexible. It isn't a major issue right now I just don't want it to become one. I'm getting to people who ordered in early December so almost two months. Hopefully I can pick up the pace but I won't "rush"

Anyone using their MVT with unground herb, I found out it works well, just rotate the stem to get an even extraction, no need to crumble up the herb halfway or at the end.

Its not every bowl that I'm doing this maybe 1 out of 10 just found the results better than expected as most pure convection vapes don't handle unground as well.

Hey Dave,

It's great that you're being flexible with customers in terms of order processing but they also need to understand that you are running a business and you need to be able to depend on folks following through with their commitments on order placement.

I wonder if it would help free up this "bottleneck" by letting folks know they have, say, three days (72 hours) to respond to your "notification email" regarding their order, and that, failure to reply within that time frame will automatically move them to the bottom of the list?

If you were a larger production operation then perhaps you would have sufficient inventory to fulfill orders as quickly as you receive them. But again, folks need to remember that you are a "one-man show" and that these units are being produced in small batches, almost on a made to order basis.

So I, for one, support you 100% on insisting that customers meet your order confirmation requirements, whatever you decide they need to be to optimize the fulfillment process .:2c:

Hello Dave,

If I missed an email from you I'm sorry about that. So I hope it wasnt me. If it was please let me know and I will look for it and respond right away. I don't want to be the one holding you or anyone up. I just wasn't expecting an email about the MVT until March.

Mine is shipping today, as is my order for batteries and a charger from IMR. Definitely looking forward to trying it out.

Timing kinda sucked, as I booked a rather expensive vacation recently, but I didn't want to slide down the list. Besides, I like to honor my commitments, particularly when Dave is kind enough to NOT require a deposit.

Honestly, in this day and age if people aren't paying attention or checking their email (including their spam folder) once a day or so, then it's their issue and not yours, Dave. Just my :2c: of course, but I'm a big believer in "you snooze, you lose." I think 48 - 72 hours for a response is more than generous. The people here are reasonable and would understand that you're running a business, not a charity catered specifically to them and their schedule. If your number is called and you don't respond, the next person is up and you'll get yours when you have the "time" to respond.

Will those on the list already be receiving the revised version? Definitely don't mind and understand the price-hike.

Really like the new button placement and battery door. I'm also hoping I'm one of the lucky few that gets mine bundled with a wood stem.

I'll also say after reading this, I'll start to check my spam folder, but prior to this I had no reason to check it. There was no mention that it may end up there.

Yes. I've been on the list for some time. The day that Dave revealed the revisions, he sent me an email stating mine was ready to ship, and that it would be the new version. It should be here tomorrow.

Yes. Until now, no one reported that it had been properly released. We can't follow every thread so we have to rely on reports.

You hit the "report" link at the bottom of the post.

:peace:
Lesson(s) learned. Thanks for moving. Might want to get in Touch with Dave to allow @mistvaporizer to relieve your VAS.

WooHoo! :clap:USPS tracking shows that my Mistvape Touch and my IMR order are both out for delivery today. Mail arrives around Noon, so I'll get the batteries charging and should be good to go tonight.

I have to do some driving this afternoon anyway (nope, don't like to drive stoned), so this is perfect. Don't worry, my wife will keep an eye on the charger while I'm gone.

Mail was late today, naturally, so my package was waiting when I got home a few minutes ago. Batteries are charging on the new Nitecore D4. They started at 3.6V. I have no experience, but I'm guessing it won't take long. I'm hoping to hit this thing before dinner.

The box was somewhat crushed, which had me worried when I pulled it out of the mailbox. However, Dave had packed it well, so the internal box was fine.

I was surprised by the size. I had pictured it being slightly larger. I like how it fits my hand, and find it easy to touch the button.

The stems don't have a fragile feel to them, though I'll certainly try to avoid dropping them. I should have ordered a wood stem, but didn't want to spend the extra money right now. That'll probably happen soon though, if for no other reason than I like wood.

It's a beauty.
