In Vitro Validation of Vaporizers

So I'm mainly a lurker, learned a lot from this forum and I did a quick search and didn't find this article and it's definitely worth sharing.

Arizer Solo is a big winner here with almost 82% of THCtot found in the vapor vs 58% by the Volcano. Also the residue...1.8%. Hardly worth saving your abv for.

This study has been discussed in two threads.
First thread started in ASk FC section by @lwien

Second thread started in Vaporization Discussion, also by @lwien

He must have enjoyed it.

Two points from my perspective, (other than points made by other FC folk before):

  • The title speaks to the goal of study -- do vapes work? Answwer -- Yes. This was not designed to be a consumer reports style comparison. Few inhale direct from solo at top temp for long draw. Through bubbler, yes, but that would change results.
  • They screwed up the Plenty CBD standard testing by using "filter paper" instead of the stock liquid pad, yet they used the liquid pad in the Volcano test run. Go figure. Skewed results in that test.
