Hello, I just noticed this thread exists. Joined a couple weeks ago to learn more about convection vaporizers, mainly log vapes and some upcoming portables. I switched to vaping about a year or so ago with a Pax 2 wanted something uber stealth, didn't realize at the time that its super smelly. My switch hasn't been exactly a switch though since I still combust when with friends :( they prefer the brain cell killing carbon monoxide hits.

Easy peepz Ive been lurking on this forum for a while and have now decided to chip in. I smoked pot neat mostly for over 30 years aswell as the odd roll up. I gave up tobacco in 2010 and started vaping as well as neat bongs and pipes, one of my all times favourites is the original Silver palm leaf. I started with an Iolite which was ok at the time. My next vape was a firefly 1 which I still use today and is still going strong, I do have the newer batteries which are much better. I also had an Arizer extreme Q for a while which I eventually traded with a friend, was good for the time. I replaced my Arizer with a Sublimator dabmaster xlr 2.0 which is mostly used for dabs these days and the odd double decker, tiz a sledge hammer! I also have a plenty which is great but it does need plenty, usually appears at parties. As far as daily drivers go I presently use my Ti woody vc and have an og as back up for out and about. At home I use my Minivap teflon qc mostly which has the best flavour. I rarely combust these days and if I do its usually by accident, funny how bad it tastes when you are used to vaping.

Merry Vapmass

Hi. I am Jack, I'm in my late 40s, live in The Netherlands. I have been using cannabis for 30 years.

I smoked very much when I was in university. Still I scored among the best 10% of students, so once & for all: no, cannabis does NOT make you dumb - as we all know.

When I started working (and got a wife, kids and a couple of dogs) somehow I started using less green. I took up drinking more, instead. Alcohol is everywhere and is socially more accepted. But I found out that alcohol is very "more-ish" to me..... plus it tends to make me depressed. Especially if you drink much.

Now I'm firmly back in the green weed train:leaf: My docter has convinced me that I should stick to stimulants (I'm an adhd-guy) and cannabis. And she was right, I feel much better now that I have ditched the alcohol.

I'm here to learn about vapes. Healthier, tastier, more effective (?) and certainly stealthier than smoking the goods. At least, that's what I hope :)

Hi(gh)! Long time lurker, first time poster.
I've been loving FC for a while now and after years of combusting fc convinced me to buy my first vape , the vapman  and i'm very very pleased with it! It made me quit actual sigarettes as well, it's been 1,5 months but it's going....
Looking to expand my toys and join the discussions :brow:

cheers!

Just saw that this existed!

I've been a pretty long time lurker. I originally came here googling mmj related things and thought the website had a hilarious title... come to find out it's a huge resource! It took about 3 months of reading and saving to get the TI woody.... then I took a job over Christmas break and saved a bit more to purchase my first desktop! Have a beautiful UD on the way.... something I never would have chosen or even found without this site.

My consumption is at an all time low due to the microdosing thread, and there is so much knowledge here it's amazing.

The only thing I hate about this forum is it gives me MAJOR vas.

Finally posted something the other day so I figured I'd say hi.

Hi!

Been lurking for about a year, hoovering up the knowledge - thanks! I'm a mid-40s dude who grew up in CA, consumed regularly from high school through college, then had about 18-20 years with only 3-4 instances of ingesting weed. Fired back up a few years ago (literally), and tried a friend's Pax a year after that. I finally started researching in the tail end of '15, and started off with an OG VapCap in early '16. Already, it was clearly better!

Added a CFX in the spring, and have happily been using both ever since, and loving the difference vaporizing makes: material lasts longer, FLAVORS!, radically lower impact on my lungs, less aroma so I feel way more comfortable vaping around the house, etc. etc. It's the damned VAS that gets me now :ko:

Anyway, cheers folks, looking forward to learning and participating more.

Hi everybody,

I am 31 years old, I come from the South-West of France and I am totally addicted to FuckCombustion !!!

it's a mine of knowledge, a source of good humor, and an amazing comunity i am proud to be part of.:)

After 15 years of consumption, I've totaly fuck the combustion for nearly two years. The combo of Storz & Bickel helped me a lot. I made the transition almost instantly with an e-cig I used a few months ago.

When I acquired the Volcano I could not leave my house, so I took his boyfriend the Mighty.

The VapCap also saves my life in the event of battery failure at festivals or elsewhere, but also when I'm in a hurry. :ninja:

By cons the best time of the day is when I heated my Herborizer ...

I represent a French association called Chanvre&Libertés NORML FRANCE (= Hemp&Liberties), whose aim is to inform citizens, to support users of cannabis towards access to rights and health, to promote scientific research and to bring together civil society actors in favor of A reform of the narcotics policy.

With the elections approaching France, we have drafted with the support of some political personalities, doctors, pharmacists, and researchers, a petition for the development of research and access to cannabinoids in medicine.
I invite you to sign and disseminate it to the maximum. It would be interesting to educate the FuckCombustion community as a whole about the difficulties we face here in France, as I think many will be signatories.

Looking forward to reading you !

Well, I had to respond since I am in Lexington. Hit me up privately sometime and we can chat about it? ;-) Looks like neither of you has been on in some time. ;-D

Small world! Back to back post (almost) from KY natives. How often does that happen I wonder? I was born and raised there as well. (In case that wasn't clear) lol.

Born in Richmond, lived in Lexington for a bit, now back in Richmond.

Alright didn't see this thread until now.

Hello fellow vapers! My name is David and I'm from The Netherlands. I live in the north-east part (Groningen)

I turned 20 on 6th of Januari, started smoking when I was 14 years old (yeah I know, too young) and until now it has been a big part of my life in both positive and negative ways. 1 year ago I started thinking about switching to a vaporizer instead of smoking which I did last April. Back then I bought a cheap China-vape which worked fine for a while but it took 30 mins to heat up and smelled so bad.

Of course smoking was still my preferred way of use by then, until I got my Arizer Air 3 months ago. This baby has made me quit smoking (Also tobacco, which I was hugely addicted to the last 5 years) and hasn't made me disappointed even once yet. I am planning to move out and live on my own anywhere in the next 12 months and once that happens I'll also get myself a good desktop vape.

Right now I'm in my last year of a game development study course, and plan on to go on studying after this year. What exactly I'm going to study is still a mystery for me today.

As for this forum; I came across this site way back when I had problems with the cheap china-vape. After that never really came back until I got the Air. The main reason for me to visit this forum was for ABV recipes and to check out other people their experiences.

So yeah nice to meet you guys, I'll probably be hanging around this forum every now and then :)

Hi, DC here.

I've just got approved for my MA MMJ card and found this forum in a google search on vaping.

I am a 59 year old, who is spiritual but not religious and politically more left leaning then right.

New to vaping and based upon some of the threads I've read, I'm leaning towards the Boundless cfx for my first vaporizer.

Hope to learn a lot from y'all.

Hey everyone. Mom of 3 boys here, ages 12, 7, and 2.5 yrs. I've went from smoking to using pre-filled cartridges to an Vuber Atlas to have a wider access to strains that can help me medically. My goal is to get off some of the meds that have just been piled on top of other meds. I've lurked on here for awhile now, and decided to try to be more active.

Hi all,

I'm 22, male, currently reading for my BSc (Hons) Environmental Science degree in the UK.

Still battling against combustion, I must confess I do have a sneaky joint more regularly than I'd like, but know that in the long term I'll eventually stop as vaping is so damn good and the health benefits are hard to ignore.

Just stopping by to say hello :)

Peace :peace:
