The Mighty/Mighty+ by Storz & Bickel

I've had a Mighty for a bit over a year now and over time the draw resistance seems to have increased quite a bit. Replacing the screen at the bottom of the filling chamber helped, but even with a brand new cooling unit the draw resistance is definitely higher than it was when I first got it. Has anyone else had this problem?

Your intake may also be blocked?, that's one little gripe I have there is no clear access to clean the intake in case of blow-back building up resin and then dust and fluff has the potential to get in there and restrict airflow. maybe you can get a pipe cleaner in there? I haven't tried that yet mines new and I'm trying to keep the intake clean. Like inhaling just before you insert the mighty into a glass piece to prevent vapor blow back etc. I have read of restricted intakes in this thread though usually it is the CU.

As a heavy user I found that the glass slides up the sleeve. Like it wants to pop out which becomes a pain in the ass to keep fixing. The mouthpiece just doesn't fit tight. I thought after it got some "mighty juice" on it, things would get better. But, alas, they did not.

That's what I had read about; but I guess I got lucky, so far no sliding at all. It's really quite tight!

Probably works better on lower temps. I tend to bump up to 410 to finish a session. I also tend to do 2-3 sessions in a row.......I run my mighty hot!

I do vape low 330-360, but also run multiple sessions in a row! You think the hotter temp affected your seal? Was it tight when you first got it?

This changes a taste distributing vapor differently over the tongue taste-responsible areas.
So my tongue didn't lie! I think you're on to something...

Also would like to get a bubbler to use with the mighty does anyone know of any silicon or unbreakable one that may work good? I do a lot of camping backpacking 4 wheeling or anything else outdoors and would want something I wouldn't have to worry about being delicate. Thanks

Hope you enjoy your new Mighty! The F-Bomb bubbler tube available from planetvape is what I use for camping/fishing. It's glass, but very strong and easy to find a tube for it to fit in for more protection.

The intake is a long metal tube no? I don't think anything (including vapour) could survive the heat in there. I've abused Mighty's for over a year using mostly inverted....never an issue...all at 210c.

Hi,

do you guys know where it would be best to order the Mighty from within the EU? Is it a good idea to order it directly from the company to get the latest version...? Or is the latest version the 2015 version anyway? Can I expect good customer service since I live in the EU and can send my unit to Germany for repairs?

Any other things to keep in mind?
I expect the battery to need replacement but it seems like this product is a pretty solid choice if you just want something that's durable and works? Been smoking through a pipe for years and pretty much only care about fast and efficient administration even with small amounts.

Extreme amounts of good info and discussion on this forum btw
I'm now pretty sure that the Mighty suits me better than the Volcano or Cloud EVO.

Picked up the Mighty from the post office today. I'm certain it's going to be an extra lengthy workday. Can't wait to charge her up!

As a vape guy, I'm surprised it took you this long, lol.

I was put off at first by the plastic and metal parts, but over the past 25 months I've been converted.

It has become my travel vape, my pass around vape, my any outside activity all around vape.

And I think gram for gram it still gets me higher than any of my other vapes. I mean I love my logs and use them daily, but my mighty is a real beast.

Have a mighty fine day friend!

Check out these. They should be very resistant to breaking, as well as being light.

@Ratchett sells the needed silicone adapters for water pieces.

Or it'll just feel that way. :p

Looking forward to hearing your opinion of the Mighty beast!
Ha, exactly...Thanks!
The wait for charging shouldn't be long. They typically arrive at about 80%.
Have fun!
Nice, thanks for the heads up!

I know right! I plan on using this beast very similar to your style. I certainly will have a Mighty fine night at least. 3 hours to go, thanks bro!

If the intake isn't blocked then I have no idea why the draw resistance has increased. I'd prefer not to have to buy another but I'm not really sure what to try to fix the issue.

@KindaLikeMe ;I have written a little bit about why and how i opened my Mighty to clean it.
it could be around 40 or 50 pages back. i'm surprised to read more speculation about what's inside the mighty, why it clogs up etc,as i have written the answer to that no that long ago.(vapor memories?)
If you live don't live in NZ you should be able to post it back to S&B for a clean up, i wanted to do that but the cost of sending the Mighty to Germany would cost me more than a brand new one.(this has to do with nz airline regulations....sigh....)
Anyway the answer to not clogging up your Mighty in short:Don't blow in the bowl after cleaning.
To Anyone worried about the lifespan of your Mighty Batteries:DON"T the plastic casing will have died long before them.........
Just my 2 cents.......:2c::sherlock::leaf:.
Peace to all.

I bought Mighty glass piece but I am disappointed. It does not work well. I think the airflow is a little bit weaker and when I turn the glass piece it almost goes out from the device so the silicon part is not efficient enough.

Interesting, mine increased the airflow. My silicone is tight as well. When I turn it it stays in place. The only thing you can't do, is flip it one handed with your thumb quickly. I use both hands. Curious how long ago you bought it, as I realize now this has been around for a year.

Imo, this is the BOMB, but need to see how it performs in 3 months...

Thank you everyone for your input on the bubblers. My mighty was supposed to be here today but the tracking hasn't updated at all still just says it's in transit... ahhh I hate the wait... but anyway in my last post, I asked about concentrates can anyone tell me any of your experience with them I know about the sandwich method but how about using just the liquid pads or the liquid pads in the dosing capsules Temps you are vaping concentrates at or anything else or anywhere else I could find info. I use concentrates quite a bit because I like to keep the smell at a minimum in my house and I cant seem to find a lot of information on this thanks.

From my experience I'm in the same boat as you. No one really has chimed in. I asked what the liquid capsules were all about? Still don't know. So I've tried making a liquid capsules with a liquid pad inside a capsule and with bad results. Either I used too much or?? I'm just paranoid about it getting in the burner. That's why I think the sandwich method is the best method all round. Once I get my second mighty I'm going to be experimenting more with the shatter. I have a high tolerance and plain strain just ain't cutting it. So I order Kief separate now and make sandwiches in capsules for now. Also my liquid pads are so big they don't even fit in the bowl. Unless I force it? How u suppose to use it lmao. Just enjoy the mighty high it gives you lol.
