Wand screen question. Ughhhh

I'm fairly new to vaping, recently bought my first digital cape from a local smoke shop. It resembles a easy vape, but with buttons for the temp control and it came in a black box so I'm not sure what brand.. It's been giving me some troubles but I figure I'm just not using it right, but besides that I noticed the round screen in front of the heating wand was torn and a bit popped out on one side so I stupidly let a friend try to fix it, but he tore what looked to be a ball shaped screen in two pieces, so I just took one piece and rigged it back in and discarded the other piece, the two pieces almost looked to be different colors. I was wondering if this will affect anything.

Also, since you bought what I am pretty certain is a cheap-knockoff Chinese vape, you may have a hard time getting help here. Not many have them.

I'm unable to post any pics but it has the same exact design as the easyvape and I've seen the part on all similiar style vapes, but I probably lack the correct term for the part.. It's at the end of the wand and it touches the herb.

It may just of been two screens but they seemed to be connected.

If you're saying you had what looked like a round screen, and now you only have half of that (i.e. a regular screen) I don't see where it'd be an issue.

It looked copper so I wasn't sure if it had anything to do with heating the herb and the shape made me believe it needed to be in the shape it was to provide a gap, but guess not?

I'm not talking about the whip screen, obvious, but just putting it out there.

Mate, might want to just google a pic,
then use paint and show us whats up, maybe people will have an easier time visualizing.
I think your talking about that screen ontop of the heating element, like vb?
Does the vape still work?
If it is the screen ontop of the heating element, I suppose thats just to hinder any erb from falling down the hole onto/past the element.

Yeah, if it's the heating element screen...as long as the vape still works and you're not dropping loads of herb down your element, I'd say you're fine.
