Im new here learning lots, great forum. I was reading reviews about the boundless cfv and in one review they mentioned how the cfv gave a better day time high than the cfx. What did they mean by that? Whats the opposite of a day time high, are there other types? Why would one device give a different high if its the same type of flower?

Search for the topic "different effecs based on temperature" and learn.

basically it's saying, that on a lower temp, like 150-160°C (easier to stay withing your realm with convection) you get more THC and less CBN/CBD into your system, which gives you a way better high to maintain your daily routine.

If you roll a fatty at 2pm, there's a chance you're not going to finish your to-do list you're carrying around with you for days.

Low temperature vaporizing for cerebral/creative high.
High temperatures for pain relief and sedation.

I vape all day long. But I keep it low temperature so I can stay productive. I only crank up the temperature in the evenings when I'm ready to sit back and relax.

That is so cool, that explains alot. I used to smoke back in da day, the old fashioned way. I noticed that when vaping for the first time at around 380f i felt super energetic, my heart was even beating fast and thought it was the herb i was vaping. So if i turn it up ill get a more sedated/relaxed feeling?

I only vape at high temperatures and only at higher for the relaxed and sedation effects. I use to vape lower for the thc high. But that raised my anxiety really badly.

Same here. I used to love low temp, the creative benefits were all I wanted. Now I get anxiety too.

So do you think i would be ok using high temp on the boundless cfv full convection vs something like the cfx convection/conduction hybrid at full temp? Im just wondering if conduction might be better at high temp?

Convection at high tempts will give bigger clouds. What effects are you after regardless of clouds?

If you want a lazy high couch lock high a nice Indica at a high temp will be good for you.

If you are looking for a mental stimulated high you want lower temps as a sativa

My herb is t.i.t.s. this is the sh*t, its supposed to be girl scout cookies and sour desiell, i dont know if its indica or sativa or hybrid. Its nice to know you can control the effect some with temp! Its so "high" tech nowadays!!!
Lol:rofl:

I think i like a more laid back giggly feeling, more than that super alert, ansy, makes me think too much.

I find it funny as a kid in highshool I use to like the mental stimulation. Go play basketball and stuff. 15 years later I'm all about the make me lazy and let me just get chatting about random stuff. I also like to drink beer as I vape too.

Another way to get that mellow buzz is to harvest the bud later once the trichs have gone amber. But obviously this only helps if you grow or get the opportunity to request a late harvest batch.

If you can't grow you can further cure the fresh bud you get by sealing it in a mason jar (with a boveda pack if you like) and allowing the active components (THC) to convert to the more mellow buzzy actives (CBD for body buzz, CBN for pain relief). over a couple of weeks/months, if you have the patience. ;)

Other alternatives are to go for strains that offer a more mellow high like the Indica's and CBD based strains.

Sour Cookies by the sounds of it.

Its not just temperature. Different vapes produce different effects, we call it "vape signature". Quite simply different vapes hit you differently. This is most notable when you start using a vape that is new to you. For instance, The VXL Cloud Evo gives a deep, smooth, full bodied experience while the S&B Mighty is more of a stronger head high. Different materials, vapor paths, bowl sizes, conduction vs convection %, efficiency all figure into this.

I have certain vaporizers and strains of cannabis I save for night time. During the day I want to be functional because I have a lot to get done. I use a strain that I know won't give me couch lock unless I want that. I don't use my EVO for the most part during the day because it will leave me wrecked if I'm not careful. I save my Milaana for night or after 7PM.

I use a log vape during the day - afternoon - I'm a sipper and like to extend my session out. I like to enjoy the cannabis flavor and the act of vaporizing. I like to slowly get medicated. With a hard hitting vaporizer before you know it your session is over.

If I have any waxes, if I use them at all, I save for night. For me it's too hardcore for day - that's just me. Plenty of folks need the effects of the waxes during the day, many medical some not.

Whatever way you decide to vaporize its all good. There are a lot of choices out there and personal preference.

I've used cannabis recreationally for years. As I've gotten older it works so well for pain, I have a medical card these days.
