Discontinued MistVape Touch

Shit Snacks

Milaana. Lana. LANA. LANAAAA! (TM2/TP80/BAK/FW9)
Here is the first of the current batch.

Now here is some crazy stuff, crazy good. @Vape Dr. said he was thinking the coil should be tilted since the battery side of the coil was a hot spot, consistently. I'm compulsive about some stuff and a tilted coil just isn't something I would think of. But the doc has been full of good tips so I did this

And here some abv for you viewing

I rotated once after the first hit then decided it would be a better test if I didn't rotate so I finished it off with no rotation. Doc you the man, never saw one this even - ever!
Seriously @StormyPinkness no photoshop!
It is challenging to get the coil just right so I am futzing today and standardizing the little things so I can crank these coils out. This was the first coil of the batch and I installed it so I could evaluate everything. Seems like the tilted coil is a keeper, and using the doctor's technique I got a light cloud on the first hit and it just went great.
I've been using one of the tester batch units and there is a huge difference between those and the flat stacked pancake coil.
Back to work, I'll test more later

Can someone put up a usage video please..this looks amazing
I *think* this is the only one so far.

Please no text on units. Please. Maybe initials at the most or at least somewhere inconspicuous.

Soon...

Edit:

Sooner than later.. Here's a little ditty, nothing too impressive I'm currently trying to get through my juice before I restock on herb so expect fresh videos a little bit later in time.

Edit: Looks like I lied, here's 1 more:
Finally finished my comparison video.

I know @mistvaporizer will be interested in seeing this.

Fellow vapor brother
How do you like the touch sensor.. is it weird not having that button press feeling?
It is very smooth and accurate. I like using my middle finger and thumb tip on the right hand. Seems like there are endless hits. The Touch really helped me get through the long workday today. Crumble of Space Bomb and my confidence and my alertness got much better.

@OyVape I can't really answer that, I used a Milaana once when I visited with a friend who has one. The Touch has a different heating design and the touch sensor rather than a push button. I'll let the other members speak to your post. thanks for looking
@OyVape instead of a mechanical push button I use a pressure sensor. When you press the large black disc near the bottom left in my avatar pic it activates the heater. I like the way it works and buttons were larger requiring more space internally. Another thing I like about the pressure sensor is that it is rated by the manufacturer for 10 million "clicks"

Hey @b0, mate!
Great to have you in the gang too
Waiting is fun in here. Loving the vibe!

Have a great weekend everyone!

Hi my friend!!
Yeah I'm still waiting for my Milaana to come back, thought that this vaporizer looks amazing for the price and it's gonna be a nice backup until she comes back.

Pretty excited about trying it, really promising!

Sent you a message by the way, hope everything is going great for you! :)

It can't be pressed on accident? How does that work

You need about 30 grams of force to activate it. The surface of the touch sensor is recessed about 4.5 mm.
If it is being carried around say in a bag then something could wedge in the recess. The battery door acts as a switch, to carry the unit around you flip the door over. Then the battery is not connected and you can't misfire. I tested one unit by holding the sensor down for ten minutes starting with a fresh battery. I don't recommend you doing that but the coil was fine and I used it for my personal unit. Look at halfway down page three of this thread. There's a video showing the lid flip.

Here is what's going on with the current batch

Made extra coils, all using the tilted coil.

use the wood for a vertical reference to see the tilt. I didn't have the camera set very good.

Wow Dave cranking them out! So excited for mine if you want to sign the unit or add some special design or inlay as practice I'm totally down! Hehe looking beautiful. And I remember the door flip with the copper breaking the connection. So that's a must when not in use thanks for the heads up

Milaana. Lana. LANA. LANAAAA! (TM2/TP80/BAK/FW9)
So how is this much different or better than the Milaana?

I put it as a portable SSV with instant heat up and better taste. I feel like I can push the bud to its limits with the Touch. The sensor is natural feeling to me.

In that way it is very much like the Milaana, unregulated on demand pure convection with a lot of power and glass stems (but Milaana actually even more like LSV SSV bc its 18mm like them vs 14mm here). Both use wood and have steel heaters, but the heaters are very different and offer slightly different signatures accordingly. Both super strong, tasty, efficient, and fast too, with great battery life but slightly different form factors (triggers way different too), overall build styles, and ofcourse the price. Milaana is also a bigger rolling operation despite also being essentially one guy like Mist. They have pros and cons when compared, but both add up to phenomenal vapes in my experience, some of the best around :2c::peace:

These new updated units look great, and we're talking about some more potential improvements to follow as well. Oh and @mistvaporizer you can say I was that friend, I think I mentioned it the last time someone posed the Milaana question in here ;)
