I thought someone noted the website problem with the battery pack and found out it was available. Maybe earlier in this thread?
Yeah it was noted I believe I had asked Steve about the battery pack and he told me it was available I think it was 100. You can go to Costco or Walmart and Pick up a Jumper pack For an automobile, most of them have a 110 outlet. I use mine when I go camping. Its is allot bigger and bulker than the Extreme Battery, but you can do other stuff with it.stickstones said:

Just got my new Extreme 30 minutes ago and I'm already smashed like I haven't been in AGES 
Thanks to all the info on here and stickstones How to use the Extreme thread.
All I can say is WOW!!
F*ckin WOW!!
It tastes soooo good, better than I ever expected.
I used the whip for my first try and was surprised that I could still take lungfulls I could choke on.
Just went and had another couple of hits... Shit, I keep reaching for a lighter... :/ That's gonna be a hard habit to break!
I didn't have any brekky/brunch/lunch/afternoon bongs so that I could give vaping an unbiased opinion & geez it's hit me nicely!
Thanks to all who helped in getting me to where I am now, heheh... I'll be back later with updates!

haha welcome to the wonderful world of vapping. Whip vaps can make you cough as hard as a good bong hit. Expanding THC in the lungs will do that to ya

22 hours on...
Even though it's my first vape, I couldn't imagine a better unit for me.
I'm a home toker and The Extreme is perfect for sitting as a permanent fixture on my table.
Love that remote control! It's so small yet solid. All the attachments are high quality and look good.
I couldn't be happier with my purchase!
The only thing wrong with my Extreme is that it's missing one of the little rubber feet from the bottom, so it doesn't sit properly and wobbles a little when you use it. I use my stir tool when I'm not using it to prop it up for the mean time.
I'll try and get a replacement one when I order some accessories in a week or two...
I can't believe it took me this long to start vaping

No there is not really any Vapor loss. Maybe a little might creep down the tube, but the Vap Brother Would do the same thing. I own a Vapor Brothers, SSV, and an Extreme, and I will say the Extreme is the most efficient. Ok I just read your post again and yeah dont leave herb in the bowl with out the whip on, the whip works like a lid.

when i give some time between each hit (10 min or more) i usually take out the bowl from the unit and i re put it when i want a new hit.
This to avoid that high temp inside the bowl let evaporate all the terpenoids and flavonoids....these oils are highly volatiles even at lower temps.
I love to taste the plant just like a good italian wine.....so i don't want to loose those tasty oils!

Hi all!
Im new to the field of Vaporizing (3 months).
Had 2 DigiVapor in 3 months. Both Malfunctioned.
I have bought the Extreme and it is working beautifully in the inital stages (4 days).
Anyone got any relaibility and durability reports on this model?
Also any thought on how fine u should mulch the herb? Is there "a too finer mulch"?

nsxtacy...welcome to the forum. I also leave my whip or bag attached to the bowl while it is on the unit. I think this was recommended by Rockwise some time back.
marcuss...I love your idea about keeping the flavor fresh. I leave my bowl on all the time and the room gets smelled up and the taste is soon lost. When you take the bowl off, do you give it some warmup time for the next hit or wait until you are just about to hit it to put it back on the Extreme?

I have had two problems with my unit (beeping and a power supply failure), both of which they replaced immediately. They even ate the foreign shipping. Mine fell off a two-foot table the other night and is working just fine still, although marcuss' unit broke after a fall at his wedding. I can't answer your grinding question, as I haven't messed with that yet, but I will say that I have had no problem adding kif to the mix, so I would imagine that the finer you get it, the better. I wouldn't put a full bowl of dust on there, but some kif mixed with ground herb has served me well.

It's a little too new to the market to judge, but I'd say that even if you have a breakdown after the warranty period Steve will probably repair at a very reasonable price. The only problem with grinding too fine is that you can lose small particles through the screens, into the tubing and bag.
I was thinking, if the temp stayed the same the whole time why would the herb cook? Especially since the temp doesn't go above 250 c. Last thing i want is burnt herbs, which i got a lot of with my pos vaporbro knockoff. Just a thought.... Any other thoughts?Welcome NSXTACY and RiverVapor
