This is how it was for me for years and years and years and I never paid names any mind, but with the influx of legal buds coupled with meeting new friends with stories that seemingly check out, I tend to trust. Plus, the EVO lets me fact check, I tend to try the strains first and think about how I feel/taste/smell/etc and look around a bit on the net to see if they check out.

In time my friend we all will be able to mix and match! But prices will probably be gouged

hehehe...a friend of mine and I who also live in a currently non-legal state call it getting "bags of crap".

Not that the herb is crap, but the truth is you generally have no idea WTF it is so its "bags of crap" LOL-

Unknown strain. I think it's Girl Scout Cookies because it tastes exactly like mint and chocolate aka thin mints.

I think I'm in love.

Thing is, I'm in love with Colorado. More mountain trails than I could walk in a lifetime, beautiful women at every turn, and the frostiest bud I've ever seen.

Enter Commerce City Kush. The buds look almost snow kissed; when finely ground it looks even whiter, and becomes exceptionally fluffy. The aroma is pure indica goodness, that earthy herbal smell that tells you this is sit on your ass weed.

Already planning my next visit - and maybe a move in the future. I liked it that much.

Getting used to the new changes in WA from medical dispensaries to cannabis shops. It's all packaged. I noticed some 1 ounce jars I could buy if I wanted that much of a certain kind but not all packaged the same. All the various farms and producers package up one gram packages, 1/8 and sometimes, 1/4 and 1/2 ounces. It's seems like such a waist of packaging, we live in recycle country around here.

It's all in child proof containers. This above is a 1/2 ounce of God's Gift. I do like seeing the percentages of the various THC and CBD compounds The 1 gram packages are ridiculous. Two weeks ago I got 7 one gram packages of Tahoe OG. I couldn't find it in the 7 gram or 1/4 oz container.

I am paying more money now than during the dispensary days. Partly due to all the packaging and taxes. The edibles are overpriced and too low THC levels.

Is OR and CO packaged up like this in the legal stores? I miss the good old days when you could smell it before purchasing. I just ran out of my stash from the dispensary days. I had stocked up before the changeover from July.

I bought some Platinum GSC, Green Crack and Gorilla Glue too - all prepackaged up in childproof containers. The Green Crack I had to get in 2 gram containers. With a medical card you can get 3 ounces without paying sales tax a month. That is around 9%. I don't think I will use 3 oz a month unless I make some edibles.

My brother got his medical card. He will be growing. He can grow up to 15 mature plants. If I wanted I could grow 15 plants too. I'm not growing at this point but might in the future.

@CarolKing what do you pay if you don't mind? While I'm sure you are getting boned a bit $ wise the freedom (with a medical card) to grow your own is really awesome IMO. Can you grow without a card? My uncle brews his own beer, enough to send out
Various 6 packs to family and friends during holidays, etc. is it similar that you can do something small scale? Not sure if he has a license or anything like that or if required

Weed around me is roughly 10 a gram for good stuff. If you buy in bulk it gets cheaper but 40 dollar eights (that's a cut around my parts lol only yinzers seem to say this from my exp at college) 70/ quarters is pretty normal.



Unknown. Smells like diesel, burns nose! Haven't tried it sober so not sure how dominant it is. Pretty nice nugs though.



Xj-13 this stuff is awesome! Tastes good! Citrusy as fuck! Really like this stuff. Good clear high too!

Here's a couple pics of a fresh bud of Snow White. The aroma of this particular phenotype is unusual to me: spicy, earthy, and just a little sweet.

Have you compared it to "regular" girl scout cookies? What's the difference?

@grokit The Platinum GSC has a third unknown strain. Regular GSC and PGSC a hybrid too includes OG Kush and Durban Poison. I'm guessing but I think the third strain has a berry or grape taste. I just prefer the vapor taste of PGSC. Both strains are excellent.
