In my humble opinion, this could be our forum's official concentrate. God this stuff is fire....

So i am not in a legal state but normally get high end pre-packaged concentrates from Cali and Colorado of shatter , wax and live resin that tells me the strain and info on the package but yesterday my buddy had let me try some of this headband crumble and gave me about 10 grams i liked it so much , it's not pre-packed or anything and does not look special but the taste and high was so good i couldn't pass :

Also had a question for you all , what do you do when you get something that is so sticky , I had some strain that even when kept in my freezer the 1st second it touched my dabber or hand it stuck , it was so hard to work with , i wasted half a gram to my hands battling to get it off , i still have some in the freezer i was just going to melt down with some ej mix and make some eliquid with bc i cannot for the life of me work with it. It stick to everything instantly , taste great though.

I had (still do sort of) some sticky wax I didn't really care to vape...not high quality, and some extremely sticky reclaim from pen type atomizers.

Well, just today I decarbed the wax, melted them in a bit of veg oil, and made brownies. My one caution about this endeavor is to be careful about licking out the bowl, spoon, whisk, etc. Well, be careful if you are not planning to get this whacked this damn early in the day! hahaha

You can always make edibles, yeah?

I got my edibles covered , i have so much avb i dont know what to do with it. I use it for edibles and it works well . Usually make a few batches of brownies for myself and friends. Plus the super sticky stuff i happen to have is not low grade so i'd rather put it to a better use. I am not a big edible eater.

The really sticky stuff I either dab or else I wrap it in degummed hemp fiber/organic cotton. That's the only good way I've found to vape it. I usually use my E-Nano to vape the hemp or cotton. It works with other vapes too, just make sure the wax is fully covered and wrapped up in your fiber of choice. Don't use a crazy amount of wax either. I would say no more than .1 grams at a time.

I've got this super sticky lemon cake x gorilla glue rosin right now. I've mainly been using it with hemp fiber in my nano at lower temps, dabbing it on quartz doesn't taste as good so I save that for bigger high temp hits.

Thank you , I have never been a fan of throwing concentrate in my vapes with hemp fiber as i like to use pens or dab it. I have tried it but not a big fan of a concentrate session. I do like flower sandwiches though in my vape , adding a bit between my flowers but this was to sticky to even do that. I'll try the hemp fiber again , i do have some , worse comes to worse ill just make some potent tasty e-juice with it.

I am with you here. I have moved onto concentrates for the specific reason that I don't typically have enough time to do long sessions so quickness of effect is key for me. Have you tried freezing your dab tool? Have you tried working on a frozen ice pack. Also, have you tried working in the freezer with the door open?

Sometimes I press rosin, and when I do it is around 310F because that is as low as my hair straightener will go. Sometimes the rosin I am left with is very unstable and cannot be collected at room temp. I freeze it, the dab tool and an ice pack and then collect it. After getting it on the dab tool I can roll the dab tool along the side of a silicone container and it comes off the dab tool pretty easily as long as I roll it. Don't try to pry/pull/or any other method or you might watch your dab go flying. Once I have the dab in the silicone then I can just freeze the silicone container and dabs are ready and easy to load on the dab tool once now.

I must advise you be extra careful with frozen concentrates as it is very easy to flick a piece into the air and lose it, or worse, end up with it in your eye which will burn like hell!

Is your stuff too sticky to dab? The rosin I have pictured there is the consistency of sap, very runny and sticky but easy enough to dab. Otherwise it is very hard to work with, a sandwich would be almost impossible, even with hemp/cotton it is hard to work with. Freezing it didn't help much either.

I find the runnier stuff tends to have more terps. I can't get the same kind of flavor with my quartz banger that I do with my nano at low temps. So if I'm going for flavor I wrap it in hemp and use my nano. If I'm going for the fastest medication possible I'll do a nice big dab on my banger.

One of these days I'll get a e-nail with a sapphire dish and then I can have the best of both worlds.

That's actually a great idea i did not try , freezing the dab tool. I don't really have the room to be leaving the freezer door open and working with in there , plus my girl may not be to happy about that lol. A frozen ice-pack i can try also. I do keep the container in the freezer with the concentrate in it though and its still no help. This is the type of stuff that immediately turns so sticky once it hits air , i have less than 3 seconds to work with it from frozen and i am usually to slow to properly to do so. I wont be getting it again that's for sure. I already wasted a gram almost i am a bit scared to waste the 2nd i have lol. Its been in the freezer almost a month now while i get other stuff. It is however so tasty . Thank you for the advice though , i will def be giving them a try. Like you, I also like the quickness of concentrates and when i need to session i use my flowers most of the time.

No the particular stuff i am talking about can be dabbed easy , in fact that's what i used it for but it is to sticky to work with and even get on a dab tool. Whatever you touch to it frozen or not , it just sticks to and doesn't want to come off , trying to get it into even a pen in a ball did not work. I couldnt get it off the dab tool lol than i made the mistake of trying to roll it into a ball in my fingers and that was the end of it. I had to scrub my hands in iso to unstick them. I had a enail/quartz dish i was using for awhile but sold it as i really prefer the low temp hits like you so i use my Evo , i own 2 of them , one for flowers i use and one for concentrates , i love the taste of vape dabbing at a super low temp with it. Some of the best taste i have ever had. When i want a high temp hit i'll break out my quartz or ceramic pens for that , if i am on the go and need some low temps i attach one of them to my mods and dial down the voltage. I recently been using the yocan torch allot for higher temps and love the thing.

An easy fix would be to take some of the hardest shatter / other concentrate of a similar strain (for effects sake), and then drop the hard shatter (mildly broken up) into the gooey stuff and store at room temperature for a day or two. Obviously in the dark, like a cabinet.

You would also have to gasp in disbelief at the fact that, unlike chemicals, cannabis will *not* explode when different strains are mixed... (I laughed at myself at how long it took me just to *try* doing that, as I painfully imagined the resulting terpene abomination!)

If you do this with something a bit old for your "harder" concentrate like an old shatter (I call it "tootsie rolled out" consistency) you can actually just put it into a silicone jar at room temp as a slab, then just give it a few days. It'll usually melt right into a swirl of the two, obviously not perfect.

The harder / older slab usually becomes soft enough for me at that point to dunk my tool into the jar and slice off a piece of it easily, now it's just softer shatter with a mildly drippy glaze, but usable.

Cheap and low-tek, you'll probably hear much better ideas!

Another thought I had is to press it...its already in parchment...heat may help move it. If you fold the parchment right you could direct the now rosin to flow right into a silicone dish! This sounds easier than it must actually be but also sounds like somthing I would try...

I've been so tempted to get a Evo with the latest sale. The concentrate usage is a big selling point, I'm glad to hear that it works well and tastes great.

Are you saying you can get that amazing flavor without having to session too long with the Evo? That might be enough to push me over the edge. With my nano I don't have to session too long but it's usually at least 6 hits from a good size dab's worth of concentrate.

Got this blackberry kush in dc for 50. It works, clean taste...thats all that matters. Turns very sappy to the touch. Can get it to snap with a fast pull or just twirl it like spaghetti

Kinda but see thru, not the darkest ive had but pretty dark still.

I keep a nice little assortment around haha. Right now here is some durban poison honeycomb crumble, Blue Dream Bubble Hash (dabbable), and a nice assortment of shatters and sugar consistency concentrates from 1 source. It is my current favorite. They are all super light golden color and the terpiest of any concentrates I have had. I will take more of the individual pack pics later but here is the sugary Romulan in the second pic!

New meds, this sure is a good one. Nurse Jackie (JTR x Medicine Woman) Sativa Budder. Very uplifting, pain relief is great, no anxiety from me and I'm prone to it (despite leafly strain info). I have a head cold so I couldn't taste the terps too much.
