Discontinued VapeXhale Cloud EVO

Herb gardener...
FYI... I contacted VXL about the wonky perc. They said that that's how they all are & handmade blah blah blah. So basically know that the nice straight looking perc pictured on the website isn't what you will receive. It'll be wonky, but it'll work good.

On the other hand I also ordered a "Factory Second" mouthpiece. When I checked it out I found that there was a spot at the very top of the flare that was chipped & rough enough that you wouldn't want to use it unless you're a fan of blood. After looking at the pic they overnighted me a replacement!

I have to say, that although I am mightily impressed with the evo and ht, it does seem like they have a very wide range of tolerances for their glass....

And it seems to me that some batches, like the latest (non coloured logo) ht's are of lesser much quality....

Iv had 3 of these turbines and now. And the difference between the two non coloured and the coloured is shocking...

The coloured hts appear to be of much higher quality, why would they not use thrse blowers all the time.. cost???

So my advice to anyone, is ask for coloured versions of glass.
I dont know of the octabase is available in colour...

I received my 2nd Evo yesterday , there are some minor differences I noticed . 1 being the dial . On mine it is a tad smaller and seems to be aluminum , it also clicks at around 1 o clock while the new one is plastic and a drop bigger and clicks at 12 o clock. Heat up time and vapor production is equal. It also came with a angled plug that I happen to like . So happy to have a back up of my favorite vape . Also the whistle is back again on the one I just got , I noticed on mine after using it a bit it really calms down and rarely happens. I am thinking this is due to the bamboo possibly getting a bit resonated .

Herb gardener...
I took my evo on a rare, out of house adventure today....
I packed it up, with some shatter and herb, and set off to show my friend the wonderfull world of evo vaping....

All was going well, he was blown away by the herb basket of dna genetics holy grail kush..
The cloud production and taste amazed him, but the effects really impressed him, he said he was higher than he had ever been after 1 elb....

So I thought this must be time for his first concentrate experience, out came the shatter....
I loaded him a nice sized dab, and let him go.....

This was a mistake....a few seconds after his exhale, the colour dropped out of him, his head slumped, and I knew what was coming.....

Full on whitey.....and his first ever, hes not been vaping long...

Anyway he spent the next few hours laying down, incapacitated, and was even sick....

I feel a little bad, but how was I to know, he vapes everyday...

I don't think he will be joining the evo club....

I agree about the whistling. I cleaned my bamboo the other week and the whistling was back. Now it's not noticible again. I have to think it's resin buildup preventing it from whistling again. I also have noticed different HTs will cause it to whistle where others won't.
Your next post will be about him waking up on Tuesday & looking for another hit.

after vaping earlier, I was thinking what taking a vape hit on the moon would be like. Right in the space suit next to the flag up there. You just sit on a moon Boulder and that sweet evo vapor takes over. What about other planets?

I wonder if farting on the moon will act as a mild lift off for the body.

I got mine for that price plus another $100 off last December. It was a steal if you ask me.

do you think i should expect prices like this come black friday / cybermonday / christmas? do they usually have big sales during these times?

I really want to get one but also don't have much income at the moment. Trying to allocate my funds frugally. Thanks

Honestly, $400 is a good deal.

I got mine a year & a half ago and paid about $200 more. I'm not even mad about it. I wasn't when there was a sale a couple months later that could have saved a little. I wasn't when there was the DAMN! sale 6 months later. I'm not now.

I am just happy I got one.

You might be able to dial it down for him. I do think the EVO's vapor can not only go white out. But the water droplets might even be finer. Let's just say for now, I do think the vapor is finer and condensed than my other vapes if I heat it with your method. Otherwise, I didn't think I've taken a large draw until I exhale.
KIM your tolerance and your familiarity and maybe your friend will go for another try?

I also don't get as much out of conduction. Some people only know conduction vapes. The guy I tried my EVO out on had tried my EQ a few times and my portables. I hope your friend is alright and only ingested a lot for his tolerance level.
Your next post will be about him waking up on Tuesday & looking for another hit.
That's right. get back on that horse and ride. But seriously folks, not all vapes and vapists are on equal familiarity. So... vape responsibly.
And my pursuit of a well heated glass path got me right like you've been telling me right @kellya86? And consider this my first 'official' EVO post. You saw the progression right here folks.

The ease of use and rotating 3 ELBS and my EQ skills make it easy to use and CIVILIZED. Past the worry stage and enjoying it FT. The ELBs are great for packing and leaving out to dry. Oh and the ELB that clearly was being used before is in my CFX to be tried out. So I transferred all the best from my EQ to the EVO. Cleaned my place and made a space for the HD and EVO before it arrived. Already found a glass with a heavy base that makes clouds look amazing. I love the aesthetic of the FCball. (Q: Can you white out the FCball so hard to make the inside bulb disappear? A: :ko:) It has a few extensions. Since I prefer not to be looking down when I draw. And like to see the action.

My 1st notable DD. This is what you wanted from me right @kellya86. O.K. :nod:Had my fun with the Turbine. It is in a safe place. So I want to keep the EVO stationary. No stress with moving it around. Just switch out the ELBs. Right?
---------------
My '@DDave' 18mm F/F. - It is the shortest adapter I scoured the web for my EQ. It's short, uses less glass and conducts heat well. It is also protecting the EVO's top and adds a little heat above the ELB.

My gooseneck hose is modular now. So I took a straight F/F and a 45 F/F and added my hose in between. click on my sig if you want to know more about the hose project I came up with.

I can have my FCball sit less than 2" next to the EVO at any angle. Unplug either the EVO or FCball end and let it dangle. Whether I want to change out or re-stir the ELB or clear or change out the glass, I can do it with no fumbling and one handed.

So I transferred all the best from my EQ to the EVO.

Organ doner...... poor eq.... is still love my eq, I just don't use it for vaping....
Its great for drying a cleaned ht...

@CuckFumbustion I had a feeling your would transplant your setup.... the evo dry is awesome, I have the dry evo mouthpiece but prefer my custom ssv wand setup.

The dry evo mouthpiece seems too large for me. Im sure someone said that large mouthpieces were uncivilized.....???

My evo feels like a tastier, supersolo with the wand ontop.....

Organ doner. :rofl:Yea the fan option is great for drying. I did feel a little sorry for the EQ but I will buy some Vapebags for it. It has been unplugged.

I have some 19mm wands and guess what? The ELBs fit inside one of them! So I use my F/F and the 19mm with the ELB, Like my EQ setup. My teas require lower temps, so while preheating, I can have a mint session. Take off the Neo-EQ setup.
Place an F/F or the same F/F, set to 12:30, have my DD setup and vape on.

What is your custom SSV setup? I had an SSV wand setup for my EQ.

I got those 90° adapters on eBay. I think I searched for 18mm angle adapter. I don't remember seeing any on DHgate but I'm sure they have them listed somewhere.

Guys, A little help if possible.
I remember seeing someone use some kind of an glass adapter to use with EVO with hydrabase + HT so the EVO stays upright. like a bridge between so there is no need for using silicone tube.
Anyone know who uses this so I try to find the pics here in the topic?

I found one pic with a claisen adapter. I get the Pyrex generic lab glass from ebay. Other choices in lab glass are available on ebay. Happy hunting. Otherwise, If I'm clueless as to which pic and the pleas inform me/us. Tx.

New HD related water trick I just taught myself. :rockon:Ok. I just took a 30 degree M/M adapter. (Not sure what bend you'd call it.) But anyway, it fits on top of my FCball. Almost socket perfect. (Was that intentional in it's design?) So I fit that like an adapter to the mouthpiece of the FCball and after playing with the weight and balance, and adding counterweight, have the turbine sit on top of the FCball with the adapter making the HD fairly level. For a first attempt anyway. Since the EVO is near hands free and I have a tame hose setup. I can turbo my FCball and watch both in action.

I see that there is currently a 3 year Anniversary sale for the Evo; Is this the cheapest that the unit has been sold? Or has it been offered at a cheaper price in the past? Thanks.

Vapexnail user's : Yesterday i decided to take two of my really dirty nails that never came perfectly clean from a iso scrub and soak and drop them in a small glass with warm water and pbw ( powdered brewery wash ) , i then microwaved them for about a minute and a half and let them sit for about 2 hours. They came out sparkling clean and brand new again. I took that leftover water with the pbw and microwaved it again until warm , dumped it in my hydrotube , plugged each end with some plastic wrap and a rubber band and shook for about 4 minutes , another success , sparkling clean. Now i have used this before with all my glass , never tried it with the nails and it happened to work out nicely.

This is awesome. I was really bummed because I had tried so many different ways to clean them. All unsuccessfully. Thanks so much.
