Hmm, yeah. I wasn't sure at first but Weenstoned is most likely correct. It looks like it was made in China perhaps. And their " early Prototypes" definitely Chinese products.

BUT For real man!! for $199 I don't care if the artist is Chinese, American, or Australian. I like it! You don't see many quality colored rigs for under $200.

My current favorite pieces are the other legit Chinese (Chinese with US glass) rigs in question and I prefer the function on those to some of the US artist made kleins and straight fabs (same style rigs). I will still try to save up for 1 US piece a year or so, but I would much rather buy 1 of these nice colored rigs than 2 or 3 of the old clear Chinese stuff we were buying to fill our GaS needs in between!

These lower priced, high quality rigs are exactly what I like to see. Thanks for posting @Dime363

Personally I like the dense slyme look! And I don't really have a slyme piece except for my little jet perc Toro clone plus I don't have an FTK Sooo...I think I will get one too! (since I have a custom order coming from him soon anyway :brow:) Hell, maybe I should buy 2? Every time someone see's a Hemping piece of mine they ask if they can buy it from me. I promptly say no lol. He doesn't seem to make a lot at a time. I believe he gets very small orders of US glass by the pound since it's expensive.

The hollow water tank at the bottom in lieu of a standard foot is really cool as long as the bottom is nice and thick. I guess we both shall see!
(I really like the function on my other 2 pieces from this artist!)

GaS is serious, I will have to sell some pieces soon just so I can keep buying more and have a place to put them!

Just got my 8" Torus from Steven. Looks good, not perfect, but not really uneven like the mini straight fab I got from him. Just cleaned it out, and tested the perc, it vortexes nicely. One thing I didn't realize, you can't get that last bit of water out. The way the perc and recycler are, no matter which way you turn and shake, there's a little bit of water that won't come out, just have to let it dry up I guess. Anyone else notice this?

The FTK is similar (makes sense since it's also a torus) but luckily I can use the incycler "arm" to drain it out.

Can't suggest anything for you though.

I find blowing into the joint while holding a Torus upside down helps get more water out, but generally still a bit left.

If you look at images of an authentic Mother ship Torus the incycler holes are pretty high up on the "chamber" (idk the term) so it looks like it should drain properly.

Again no help to you. Have you tried shaking the piece to get the water out the holes? Sometimes I have to do that with my FTK.

Make sure you've got a gorilla grip on it and shake it till it's dry.

I have one piece that wants to do that too. It's not a Torus but it takes a special technique.
Turn and shake, alone won't clear it. I have to turn it just the right direction and blow, turn to the next exact spot and blow, repeat until the journey is complete. Shaking doesn't get it past bad spots.

I had to know/ follow the exact path and help some trouble areas where it would just pool----With blowing while in the optimum holding spot, it helped get those last holding spots cleared.

Can you trace the exact flow and give a little air boost at the trouble spots?
I not talking anything fancy, just mouth to glass for a boost...

Yeah, I tried different ways, there's just too much distance to the inlet holes in the incycler.

Oven at a low/medium heat for 30min's?
I've never tried this, but I can't think why it wouldn't work.
I guess a fan oven circulating air might be a little quicker too.

Is it even worth getting that last bit of water out though?
Once you've cleaned and rinsed your glass the remaining water would be clean anyway right?

That would work, but too much trouble. Our water is pretty hard, so it will leave a little mineral deposit. Not a huge issue, it just bugs me. Broke it in last night, it's pretty nice. I like the small degree of resistance it has. Might sell it on and order the mini Klein, which apparently doesn't have this problem.

First scientific piece I have really wanted in a little while. I hope I win it! ?My GF just got mad at me for having my PWTA in the car though. I am NOT in a legal state and I really should act like it I suppose. But dammit I love travel bubblers!! haha :doh:

I have a really good job and my family is here. Plus I get top notch medical grade of everything for the same price or less than if I was in a medical state, so I'm not missing out on anything. Legality has never been my #1 concern in life anyway although it would be nice lol.
If every cannabis user just moved to the already legal states those few states would be VERY over populated. We need to just keep the trend going and make it happen in EVERY state!

Ain't nothing better than the West Coast, I feel. I've travelled to Oregon, Washington and Arizona to visit. It was all nice with exception to Arizona's heat. But I live near the deserts in CA, so depending on where you land in Cali it could be similarly bad. I didn't see the marijuana culture first hand, I was still too young. But the climate!

I went as far as Texas to visit. All I could find was brick weed. And this was with my contractor boss smoking and showing me the lay of the land in that small town.

I definitely want to hit up Washington and Oregon again. This time as an adult and with weed!

Consider moving @mrbonsai420. I don't know how bad your state is, but if you are in get you locked up nowheresville, consider moving. The best voting you can do is with your feet and state. Some states will be the last to legalize or produce an MMJ program. No reason to lose your job and owe the state money for being jailed and released into a program. John Oliver did a segment on that.

Edit2: You guys seen any glow in the dark pieces from china? Every time I've looked up glow glass almost nothing comes up. Some little lego look a like drip tips but that's about it. If you know of anywhere where I could get a medium to large piece of glow let me know. I see etsy sellers have glow pipes, but almost never anything bigger. I'm of course talking sub 150.
