Eye drops

I noticed that last night my eyes looked redder than Putin's underwear and were dry and scratchy. Eye drops were the key but all I had were those lubricant ones that come in the single use containers and they didn't really do the job.

What do you guys use?

I remember getting advice for Rohto Ice or something like that. People say it really works out the red. It burns like you put acid in your eyes, but it is better when done. I'm not sure I am too worried about the red. I just want my eyes to feel good again.

Suggestions?

I've tried Rohto Ice too, and as you said, those drops actually produce a burning or stinging effect when used. Most of the worthwhile eyedrops I've tried were found online, with one exception, found at Walmart: Similasan Irritated Eye Relief Drops. They're very gentle, so I don't mind using them frequently.

The single most effective eyedrops I've used are the Rohto Z Pro drops, ordered either from Amazon or Ebay. In my experience, they last the longest, produce the greatest degree of whitening, and provide the greatest reduction in eye fatigue regardless of its source. They also don't sting like the Rohto Ice!. Because the Z Pro drops are so effective, I typically don't use them unless I have some severe redness or irritation going on - to me, they are more like "emergency" eyedrops. Also, there is a version of the Z Pro for contacts - "Z Contact"

Original Clear Eyes is the gold standard, I can't leave home without it. All of this other advanced fancy special formula stuff is snake oil.
I also tried original Visene once. Waste of money, it only got rid of a tiny bit of the red. I gave it away because it gets owned by Clear Eyes.

Clear eyes all the way. Get it from walmart for the best deal. No need to waste money on anything fancy.

On the topic of eye drops, has anyone noticed they reduce the effects? I usually only use them in emergencies for that reason. If I'm medicated and use them I notice my high has lessened. I recall other friends growing up thinking the same. Anyone else notice that? I'd to know if it's a real thing and what causes it.

Careful with the Clear Eyes guys. It can produce a rebound affect which is not good. This is true for all drops that "gets the red out". Drops like Systane do not have these issues but it's made to reduce dry eye rather than affect the blood vessels directly.

While I doubt there are any pharmacological effects that would disrupt your cannabinoid receptors and how they function, perhaps the feeling of your eyes is a cue your brain uses to see how high you are.

The gestalt of the experience can be as important as the physiological effect. There's a thread at http://fuckcombustion.com/threads/h...ience-as-nice-as-possible.22956/#post-1036890 that recognizes this.

I would put this down to peopke associating how high they are, with how their eyes feel....
An unconscious link that the brain makes..

So if your eyes feel normal your mind thinks your are not high...

Like when you get high around a fire, the heat and smoke cause major red eye...this can lead to people thinking they are super high due to the gleaming eyes....

Just my theory.....

I've never experienced this and I've been medicating and using Clear Eyes for 2 decades. Never thought to myself "wow I shouldn't have done that, I'm noticeably more sober now". Maybe there's some validity to it but I sure can't tell a difference. Baked with, baked without drops. Makes no difference to me

Regarding high after using Clear Eyes: If I don't use the drops I can be a bit nervous because I look "stoned." After a drop in each eye I have no thought about people thinking I'm "stoned" so I am very relaxed

I use Rohtos whenever I do. They burn like a motherfucker, but eyes are super clear after and have a nice icy feeling lol......I feel more fucked up after I use them tbh cause my eyes feel so weird.

Though, I don't use eyedrops. My eyes, sans for a few times smoking blunts as a youngster, NEVER got red. Blessed? Eyedrops make my eyes look more unnatural IMO.....

But that's because while my eyes don't get red, they do get a bit glassy. The Eyedrops typically make my eyes look even more glassy.

My mom would always comment how my eyes "looked funny" or "you look tired" in an effort to accuse me after I would smoke, but I would just tell her that my eyes WOULD be bloodshot if I smoked  that I'm totally fine!

Not like I ever paid any mind to it, as she said the same things in an accusatory way even when I would be sober so it was very easy to deny as I had legitimately denied.

My eyes look even less glassy with the vapes, not sure why. I do get red eyes after dabbing but that IMO is because of big dabs and hacking up a lung, as they even out to normal after a few minutes.

I've always used Rohtos though

Clear Eyes Maximum Redness Relief big bottle. Been using it for decades. No burn, eyes get lubricated and cleared up in a few mins. Also it seems to give your eyes a pretty natural look, not completely white which for me is never normal.
