Discontinued Omicron Vaporizer for oils

I've been in contact with W9 support trying to figure out if this unit is right for me. I'm a NYS med marijuana user and the CO2 oil I get is very runny, liquidy. It comes in a vial and if you tilt it, you can see it flowing. They give a thin syringe to get it. It's usually in a prefilled cart but I can get it in the vial.

I'm thinking of buying he Omicron as it was recommended to me in another thread I created. I just am wondering if anyone has any experience with the Omicron and this kind of oil.

Edit: Also what does everyone recommend for the size of the battery? I see they offer 900, 1400, and 2100.

I've actually been looking for something that would deal with runny stuff well but haven't had luck. It will work if you're just careful putting it on the coils with the syringe, but ideally I'd love a big e-juice style tank that could hold a bunch. I haven't found one of those where the reviews sounded good enough for me to get it.

I'd love for someone to tell me I'm wrong and point out something awesome for it though.

That being said the omicron is great. It looks good and it's solid, it reminds me of a quality flashlight. Like dropping it would hurt whatever you dropped it on instead of the vape. The atty's are great too. Made from safe materials and the taste is great. It's took over for my persei as my portable wax pen.

I sincerely hope you guys make a cartridge for this liquid that's available in NY. I probably could sell it to the dispensaries. They are all looking for a vaporizer for oils. They were gonna sell me an aspire premium kit. I told your support staff the same. If you can make something for these liquids with a tank, the medical marijuana scene in NY is yours for the taking.

Yes but no one is willing to pay for a tank of that magnitude when you have $2 tanks from China.

I would. I don't want to use a Chinese tank. And I'm sure a lot of medical marijuana users would here as well. Remember our stuff is one of the most expensive in the country. $100 bucks for a prefilled cart 250mg .5ml cart and $130 or so for 1ml of just the oil but it's blended with MCTs. That's the issue I have here, and everyone does.

Plus I'm sure I'm gonna wind up getting a way too powerful Chinese vape for this purpose instead of a trusted American one. It just bothers me that I can't find a good American product for this purpose.

Edit: by the way I would have dropped the money for the omicron and Hercules if it did what I needed it to do. I mean I dropped money on a cloud Evo, a grasshopper, a mighty, I'm not sure why this is different.

Edit edit: oh one last point. They were selling the aspire premium at the dispensary for $100. When online is $48. So they definitely want to have a high priced item there LOL.

All I can say is we are developing such a cartridge for a Company at the moment but I can't guarantee anything at this stage since it's still in prelim stage.

Gotta love W9 CS.

Shipped my defective, unused heaters last Friday...Received my replacement EHD coils today and all tested perfectly! Even received a few extras, which they really didn't have to do - very generous.

W9 products are slightly higher in cost than some others, but this experience reminds me that we're not only paying for quality construction and safe material, but also for top notch product support.

Wondering if there is an easy way to separate the two pieces of the AC v2 pin in the base unit? I had some leakage and it seems to have gotten in btwn the insulator and pin and its causing weird resistance readings, even after soaking in iso.
The bottom pin itself is difficult to grab onto with any of my tools and of course just spins when turning the screw.

Hey @notoriousLrg You can push it out from the inside of the base as it is just pressed in.

Hi @notoriousLrg ,

If you want to disassemble the AC V2 base completely, you'll want to take a small tool and set the AC base upside-down on a work surface, then push firmly against the bottom of the gold colored center post to push the post inside the base. Once it's apart you can wash the pieces with alcohol and let dry completely before reassembling.

The AC V2 post cannot be pushed from the inside outwards because the 'flathead' groove head that goes inside the base is too large to be pushed through the connector and grommet. Using a small flat head screwdriver to push out while twisting the positive post is the best way to re-set that post's placement if it's not making contact from the vaporizer/Omicron to the heater's center pin.

Dual black ceramic reading .08 ohm again :clap:
So if we see that resistance is like above 1 or 1.5 ohm, should we assume something's wrong and not fire it?

If the resistance is around 1 or 1.5 when it is cold that could be an indication that one of the coils have gone bad, but when warm or in use 1 - 1.5 is normal.

Usually I am late to everything however not BOATING. (BUSINESS make them wait)!

900, 1400, 2100?

The longer between charges the higher the Mah value required.

I'm UNCIVILIZED = HOWEVER SHATTERED = DOCTORS ORDERS

If you have a medical need all the better!

Turns out, this device can't be used for what I have, or it would be extremely difficult. Thanks for responding though. :-) I know the difference between the mAh, just wondered what people felt about the sizes. LOL ;-) Anyhow, thanks again. Sad that I can't use this.

Makes me feel alive?

THC breaks gives me ANXIETY so I use SHATTER to stay calm.
My wife likes it better when I have SHATTER.
The last COLAS were 4 foot long and 2 pounds for a single plant?

I love FLOWERS however got to keep the woman happy!
I do both!

The people doing the studies are bias!

Hahaha to explain a little further, in NYS we are only allowed to buy CO2 oil mixed with MCT. Which makes it very liquidy, like olive oil. Would have to be extremely careful with the Omicron.

I have Crohn's disease. I use it for many reasons. Pain relief primarily. Sleep as well. Appetite. Etc. Etc.

NYS is also stupid expensive. $100 for a cart that would cost $30 bucks over in Colorado/California. What can I do? I want to be legal. I have a family

I lived in HAWAII, CALIFORNIA, EUROPE, SOUTH AMERICA, CENTRAL AMERICA so maybe I can be Jaded. Sorry! It was like Marion Antoinette when she said, "let them eat cake"!

I just want to thank UP tech and their employees, especially Victor, for being so nice and helpful. I felt my omicron battery wasn't last as long as it should be, so I emailed them. I got a brand new battery back, plus some extra goodies!! The whole process was smooth and surprisingly quick. Thanks again Victor!! You guys are great

Hey everyone. I'm getting an oil vaporizer here shortly & narrowed it down between the Minicron Lite & the Omicron V4 900 mAh. Had a few questions I was hoping you guys could answer.

1) Can I use the KISS Gen 3 Ti Carts w/ the Minicron Lite ? (single & dual coil)

2) Are there any reasons one would pick the Omicron over the Minicron Lite, besides battery life ? (really like the look of the stainless steel Minicron Lite)

#) Are there any differences, performance wise, between the KISS Gen 3 Ti Carts (if they can be used w/ the Minicron Lite) & the KISS AC Gr2 Ti Heaters (for the Omicron) ?

Any help is much appreciated. Thanks!
