Discontinued Vapir Vapormatic Deluxe

Hi,
Its my first post, so let me start off with saying greetings to you all!:peace:

Anyway, I've been a hardcore smoker for the past 6 years, giving up cigarettes about 2 years ago, kept on smoking alot of herbs though.
So I decided to buy myself a vape, to finally cessate and say goodbuy to combusting for good.
I bought the Vapir Vapormatic Deluxe on a 70% sale locally, and my lord, what a product!
I received the normal package,(two bags, two hoses, 3 herb disks, grinder and a mouthpiece), and im happy to have gotten this vape.

Not only does it have a lit up digital display, it also lets you controll the fan speed.
You put the herbs in a little disk, into a drawer in the front, which is then heated to the set temp. by a quartz-crystal heating element. The disk is also surrounded by a ceramic chamber, meaning the temperature is constant.

From there, it connects to either a bag or the air2 mouthpiece via hose.

Been vaping this baby for about a week now, and boy it gives you some amazing hits :uhoh:. I've also read some reviews about leakage? Well it doesn't exist on this unit, everything is sealed off pretty well with rubber on all removable parts ( 'erb drawer, removable top thing for cleaning).

Thought id ad to the vapourizer list, as this one doesn't have a thread.

EDIT
I found out that if you let it heat up for 5-10 mins before inserting the disk and vaping, the temp will be alot more accurate, without any fluctuation!
If ur vaping without pre-heating the unit you could get very random combustion. (And erb disks that on fire are not alot of fun when your trying to chill :o:mad: hehe)

I first bought one of these. It does leak. I thought it was cool at first and then I found the magic flight. I ended up giving the Vapir piece of shit to a friend.

Someone starts a vape thread about the model they have. They like it. And then you come along and call it a "piece of shit". Not cool. You can make your point (you don't like this model), and actually offer more info about why you don't like it, without insulting the OP. :/

I've been using the Vapormatic for almost 3 1/2 yrs now...And it was nice but after a while it does leak from top where bag is place and the tray that disk goes in. I also hated how loud the fan is when cranked up and the temp fluctuates and doesn't stay at the set temp. Which leads to flare ups of the leaf in the disks...I've just upgrade to the Extreme Q now i know what a sealed vape is like, No leaks no fan noise and use even less sweetleaf than i did with the deluxe. I now keep the deluxe as a back up or loaner for friends that want to test out vaporizing...

it's time someone shows this oldie some love :D (stumbled over a nice used one and couldn't resist...)
Best vape ever! (at least if the preference is a vape that fits perfect besides the toaster in the kitchen  )
Did 2 test 'disks' (inspired by a floppy drive eh? - later stolen by Ghost?? :lmao:) and yes, the fan gives excellent sound feedback to signal it's running :brow:. I would estimate over 70% of the vapor gets in the bag, the rest is used in the automatic air freshening system
Nevertheless it produces vapor with effect and just a bit of plastic taste (still better than a Dragon Vap DVP-500 ;)), but i don't think i'll experiment with it much further...
Definitely a vape nowadays no one needs, but for collectors it's an oddity with a real nice shiny retro design  and will stand out between those ugly heartless designs from most other companys...

Is this the one that resembles a toaster?
Silver box with red adjusters?
yes - it's an inbreed between a toaster and a radio
even the bags are 'special'

nothing as shit comes from this company :(
yes, many questionable designs, esp the 'handheld' ones (too ugly to collect  )
but it's still a working vape and easily in my top ten of desktop vapes (i only have 8 ;))

that's the part that imo probably inspired the Ghost crucible? - pretty leaky, but it's almost 10 years old...
