Peace everyone!

Finally had an "acceptable enough" qwet run with some Sour Diesel, all flowers although strictly popcorn and mid stuff (that would have gone into an "emergency flower vape" jar anyway).

Used 11.2g of flowers with 225ML EC189 (5-minute first wash absolut only), yielded 1.22g shatter. (Bottom pic is of the first 0.8g that I just finished scraping into a 2.5g silicone container, first time using container - was left over from a buy and I am seriously digging it, anyway slick sheet back in fridge until tomorrow to get folded and scraped again. (I use a stainless steel dab tool, hook end gently, and patience).

Will try vaping it after dinner and post over in "what's in your vape" later on. Need some Sour Dee flowers first now to vape away my exhaustion. Horrendously bad pain day, but the shatter run was a nice distraction!

Here's a 300x shot of some wonderful bubble hash rosin I have been producing with a new tek I've been playing around with recently.

The major upshot of this tek is that it avoids the following problem: anyone who has made rosin from bubble before will note that there is a part of the flavor of the original bubble that seems to get left behind with the contaminant when you squish it through your screen. The hash rosin pictured above does not lose this flavor!

I'm still streamlining the tek but will report back with more detail when I'm done! For now, I hope you guys enjoy this pic as much as I enjoyed dabbing it

On the left-21 grams of co2 shatter vacuum sealed (Fire og)

Sugar fudge is the best way to describe the consistency and appearance to the naked eye - it has a red/pink tinge to it. This shot is at 250x! Solventless of course

Still perfecting the technique but basically, the principle is to address the following points:

1. Rosin from bubble hash tends to lose part of the flavor and effect (spicey, creamy 'hashy' flavor is lost in part and the psychadelic effects of hash are to some extent lost).
2. My 4 star bubble hash is actually already fantastic tasting material which tends to be diminished by solvent/rosin processing/fine filtration. This 4 star bubble is the worst that I get from a bubble run aside from contaminant/leaf from the catch bag.

My 4 star falls short of being full melt not because of excess plant material contaminating the heads so much as being primarily made up of immature resin glands from the smaller-screened bags (immature heads are often smaller in size than mature heads) as well as later washes (remember, the ripest fruit shakes off the plant the quickest, the more immature fruit takes a lot of shaking to get off of that tree!). The heads tend to have more membrane surrounding them than resin inside of them and so leave too much residue when dabbed and don't melt so much. Still, when you look at them under high magnification it becomes clear that these are heads and not much else all the same! Just less melty ones.

If we accept these points, then we quickly realize that to 'reconstitute the full melt', we need to add more resin to the 4 star hash in an extremely consistent emulsion/solution that does not remove anything from the initial hash. This is not easy to do at all! It is much easier to mix far too much rosin with comparatively little full melt to achieve an effective mix!

For this reason, traditional hash rosin with screens is no mas.

My technique is one that seeks to reconstitute the melt by emulsifying/dissolving the 4 star bubble in solventless oil (at the moment, rosin from the same flowers) in very small quantities, only enough required to bring it back up to dabbability without losing the wonderful flavor and effects that are already present in the original 4 star.

This must be a consistent emulsion of oil to get the right flavor/melt/effect to emulate full melt. Anyone who has ever tried to super evenly mix comparatively very large amounts of 4 star bubble with tiny amounts of rosin (with absolutely no use of solvents at any stage!) knows that this is a challenge to say the very least!

Obviously, my approach is centred around the idea that full melt is the ultimate dab and that all I want is to make all of my material like full melt

I'm still experimenting right now but what I will say is that this material has a potency that exceeds that of rosin or full melt alone IME. This stuff gets folks very medicated for a very long time! It is a great way to stretch out one's medical supply/stash.

This is all going to be kicked into overdrive soon when I get into some new extraction/isolation teks in the not too distant future. I'm sure I'll look back at this material as primitive and crude before too long lol

One thing I will say about this tek is that you still need to be a very proficient bubble hash producer to get 4 star bubble of high enough quality flavor and effect to make reconstituted full melt of sufficient quality in this fashion. If your 4 star comprises mature heads mixed with plant material/leaf etc - you will have a relatively bad time!

Good things come to those who master bubble tek - I encourage you all to develop your skills here!

Sativa Jilly Bean Budder, nice fruity taste, a little spacey but definitely more focused. Pain relief is mediocre.

A couple of views of some nug run Wifi OG I picked up. I was a little disappointed in this. The flavor wasn't as 'piney' as I would have hoped.

They did! Except, West Coast Sour Diesel is regular Sour Diesel x Frisco OG so not quite the same but excited none the less! Sour Diesel is a sativa that really agree's with me psychologically, very little anxiety and a lot of joy. JTR is another one that does well for me since it's a creeper and usually the beginning of the launch on a sativa is where I get anxiety, and this one delays it then hits you with euphoria after a bit =)

I gotta finish up my Jillybean before I can try the WCSD, but I am on about 25mg of JTR fudge right now and 25mg of CBD oil.

This Purple Chem has been my favorite of the house waxes I've purchased. So smooth and tasty. I'll definitely pick this one up again.



But this live resin is insane. It cost more, $60/gr, but is worth every penny. I haven't had anything this pure and delicious since Pure Rosin was in town.

ive seen others simply take 4 or maybe even 5 star and simple make it dab able by using ones own body heat. What advantages are there to whatever it is that you do because it's amazing looking.it looks like nothing else.

It is true that by flattening a less melty hash with a little body warmth (probably rupturing some heads and spreading some resin about the flat surface for more efficient melting/vaporizing), you can make melt a little more quickly to the point that it is dabbable without getting too harsh on the end of the hit like you say. This is definitely worth doing if you don't have other options - some 4 stars can surprise with flavor that is as good as full melt (especially early in the hit!). You might have even enjoyed this yourself before

What I am doing is processing to provide a greater resin (and hence melt) % to the original 4 star, rather than just spreading it about more evenly. The end product leaves the residue you'd expect from a 6 star. I should note that the view is partially especially pretty in my shots because they are obviously very close-up macro shots (others do this better than I do though, I must say!), but the material is produced in a way that AFAIK is not being done by anyone else yet and so also looks unique.

I do know of a very small handful of extractors (not retail extractors of any kind sadly or I'd recommend where you guys could get some!) who had a similar overall idea but developed radically different methods to achieve it (very likely before I developed this method might I add to give credit where it is due!). Their method will likely produce results even greater still than my technique but also comes with additional safety considerations which my tek does not require. I say likely because in theory and based on their description of processing methods, I believe their product should provide a higher terp % than mine. I have sadly not seen pictures of the results of the other extractors' tek as of yet, nor are there COA's to compare. If/when I have this, I'll let you guys know

Sunshine #4. This is a delight. According to Leafly, it's a cross between Chemdawg 4 and Sunshine Daydream. For an Indica heavy concentrate, it's amazingly uplifting. And yummy. Did I mention yummy?
