You'll be happy to know they seem to be shipping immediately. I received mine in a few days and took it for a quick spin this morning. I don't know much about which condenser is which but it does have the new diffuser screen.

I love it. Great from the first hit. I haven't read this thread much in a while, but something must have stuck. I picked it up and worked it like a pro on the first try. Excited to try the omni w/ Ti tip and its future revisions.

Definitely a different vape profile than anything else in my arsenal. The only other vape I have that employs a significant amount of conduction is the crafty. This is definitely unique to that as well. Not 100% sure what makes it special, but I really like it. Looking forward to using it more and will report back.

I'm using a Zico torch and really dig it. It's a single but get's the VC up to temp very quickly. It is way too big for on the go, so I may shop for something very small to compliment it.
I know its supposed to be conduction BUT....it doesn't really often taste like conduction nor does it require fine grind and tamping like many/most electronic conduction vapes.

Truly a unique device and I agree...its extracts beautifully and provide effect very well and very efficiently.

Can someone please explain what is a single or double crown?

A Ti Woody with a straight stem or body comes with a metal cap to reinforce the thin wood sleeve. It protects it from heat and cracking.

Here is a Ti Woody with the standard single crown.

A double crown is a second cap reinforcing the mouth piece end of the wood sleeve of a Ti Woody.

The crowns protect the vulnerable ends of the straight bodies and stems and add another aesthetic element to the design.

Just brought my first few days of experimenting, and how curious I find out there's quite similar impressions all around...
I did fill the bowl and heat the Vapcap up as soon as I got it (actually I had to wait for the night, that day...), and made it work on the first try, as well. Then, the next day I decided to take a look at the manual, and realized the very first text written on the paper sheet there says something like "don't do what you did yesterday, you should try it empty to find out about the click and etc...". :D
Anyway, I am still trying to find some flaw on this device....

(...)I don't know about best, so subjective, but it has to be one of the cheapest hard hitting on demand vapes ever, with purest materials and simpler learning curve than some other old cheap torchies... The $25 deal does have me wanting to share my code with everyone know

So funny, I did such similar thing! Published a link to George message on a local growers forum, and recommended the vaporists over there to grab one! Emailed some close friends as well. Everyone should try this so simple vape. And I do agree with you on the unbelievable simplicity of the project. I am still amazed and BTW, have left other vapes for a while and been just using the Vapcap the last two or three days...

From my experimentation I found out that when heating, if keeping the heatsource (single torch at the moment) as close as possible to the tip, I get the "lower temp hits" (like the solo on temp 3),. But, I tested heating a little bit further down the cap, closer to the glass, and I could get some quite hot hits, really close to combustion. Anyone noticed this, as well? In the manual sheet it looks like non-recommended usage, but as far as I am testing it as much as I can.....

Also, I confirmed microdosing goes quite fine. It works alright by just filling enough to cover the screen. A perfect one-hitter, micro-hitter, hard hitter, simple as I never could believe was possible.

George, your vape is really awesome!

The temperature thing has been discussed a lot in the thread, yeah. Microdosing works very well and it's one of my go-to's for microdosing since it won't waste battery for a single hit.

Can you expand on the microdosing? As a very lightweight person it sounds useful and efficient haha but with the vapcap are much are you loading and how many heat cycles do you get from the microdosage?

Again, the kindness and goodwill surrounding this company overwhelms me. I mentioned to George how I was struggling a bit with nicotine addiction. I have quit, my wife still smokes so it's a challenge for me. Ecigs were a big help, but I tried to cut out the nicotine all together and sold all my gear. So I told George of my struggle, and we chatted about the PyroVap, and low and behold I got a shipping notice the next day. Mind you I hadn't placed an order yet! He sent me a prototype PyroVap and this act of kindness has caused me to redouble my efforts, and stay away from cigs. A huge thank you to George, and DynaVap.

Dude that's awesome keep on fighting, everyday without it is a new personal record, so just never stop improving yourself :)

Also thanks for the microdosing explaination. If you can get multiple hits off .025 a gram is gonna last me so much longer than I expected, I can't wait for mine to get and start saving money! :D

How are you guys getting $10 off?!
@VapCap sent out emails to existing customers last Sunday containing a product code that can be shared freely. Mine is 1380, use that as a coupon code and you should get the $10 discount on the OG.

The promotion ends at midnight tonight (Sunday Aug. 28th).

I've been holding off because I have an OmniVap and I'm waiting on a Ti Burly. I think I'm going to get one anyway, just to see how the performance of the glass tip compares to the Ti. And I'm curious if the flavor is better too.

I was holding off for much the same reason... buuu-uuut, you just talked me into it :) Added a triple flame lighter, as well, been using single flame torches solely and am curious to the differences there. I'll also be much more likely to maybe gift this one later to a buddy who I think I can get to quit combusting.

Thanks for the tip on the promotion ending, hadn't realized it was tonight

Has anyone ordered a lighter/butane off amazon? I'm at college and was wondering if they still shipped discretely? TIA

From all reports they are shipping the OG very fast now so hopefully we will have ours soon!

Does your college offer Amazon Locker p/u? I don't know for sure how it works as far as the loading of the lockers but I assume Amazon does it. You come by, punch a code, and you're off without dealing with a human. Might be worth checking out for future purchases, if nothing else.

Can you not venture off campus? High quality butane seems to be found even in the most podunk of towns, IME

I agree. You should be able to find high quality butane at a cigar/tobacco shop or a head shop.

My torches have always been shipped discreetly from Amazon. I'm pretty sure my butane was labeled as a hazardous substance. I think that's legally necessary, but I'm sure there are sellers that don't abide by the rule.

Either way, I was not impressed with Amazon's prices and had much better luck at my local head shop. I use Lucienne brand.

Thanks for the info! Does the quality of butane really matter if it's just heating the cap the contimants aren't gonna get into what's inhaling right? Especially since you don't inhale as you light with the vapcap?

My understanding is that contaminants can also clog up your lighter, so higher quality butane helps the lighter perform better and last longer.
Correct. Ronson especially will ruin your torch or even vaporizer in the case of the iolite/whisper/hammer.

Also, the brands with an asterisk contain mercaptans, which smell like sulfur, or rotten eggs.

This is especially bad when making concentrates as it will ruin the flavor. I'm not sure if it would affect a torch but you might smell it while you use the torch. It also might clog up the torch.

More on topic, I was this close to actually buying two OGs, but I held back and only got the one. I can't wait to check out the new Ti CCD (screen). I'm thinking the mouthpiece will be a better water adaptor for my Omni than the solutions I've rigged up.

I am so looking forward to my Burly VonG. It will be cool to have one of each material; glass, wood, and titanium. I never got into Pokémon but I'm really enjoying VapCapMon. Gotta catch 'em all!

I have a feeling my OG will become my low temp flavor maker, my Burly VonG stem will probably be my main water 'cap and high temp cloud producer, and the Omni will be the main one I take out and about.

If you are holding off on getting an OG, why? The price won't ever be better.

There is most definitely a difference between a glass pathway (OG) and a metal pathway (TI and OMNI). I love both, but at this discounted price, grab an OG ASAP. I promise you won't be disappointed. I always tell folks who buy my first book that if they don't like it, I will buy it back at three times the price. George could do the same thing on the OG at this price. No one will ever ask for their money back.

Go get yours, my friends!

Go for it, mate. You will like the performance and signature of the OG, I believe. I certainly do.

Thanks, I value your opinion. I think we have similar taste in vapes.

I did end up doing it, can't wait to test it out. I do love a glass vapor path. I'm not a huge fan of silicone mouthpieces but I can deal with it, at least until @PeteSeattle can make me a GonG body, I'll let you have the first cobalt one... ;)

Must be almost out of time, but I ordered 2 OG's for delivery to Aussie-land, and a third for delivery to my MIL in the US of A. :) It's too good a deal to miss out on! I've been umming and ahhing over these since before I received my Milaana (I was *just* about to refund that order in favour of the Vapcap when I got the shipping notification) and while I wait for Mi to arrive at her new home (ironically, back in the 'States), I can't help but feel excited about this little Vapcap!! I'm a massive Vapman fan, so it'll be very interesting to compare the two and also to have a second vape in the house again.

This is an awesome thread, thank you all, especially @Squiby for the great posts and unbridled enthusiasm. :)
